Wade having symptoms of Bipolar Disorder.
He has mood swings, his mind is racing with thoughts constantly, he barely sleeps, is always talking a mile a minute, doesn't really like eating and hears voices or noises that aren't there.
Wade has a lot of highs. Most of the time, he is happy and energetic, ready to take on whatever the world throws at him. Every once in a while, though, he has an extreme low where everything is suddenly bad- where he wants to just curl up into a ball and die- and he let's the voices in his head take over.
Wade can't do anything when he feels like that- and he doesn't want too. He wants to stay under the blanket and rot in bed forever. He wants to try and hide from the world until it all burns around him.
Logan trys to get him out of bed, to get him to eat or talk or anything- but after 2 days of trying- he knows this is one of Wade's lows.
It's wierd, because Logan must know as soon as he wakes up and sees Wade like this that he is having an 'episode'. That he is having a depressive slump. He still trys though- everytime- no matter how much Wade ignores him.
Wade thinks that maybe he understands but also that he doesn't. That he tries to and fails and that Wade is all alone. That he is a burden to everyone else. That he will never be normal.
And Logan lays there next to him until Wade is back to his usual happy self- into his next high- and he'll be there when his mood drops again. Logan always is.
When Wade gets out of these periods, he always thinks it's stupid he thought Logan didn't care- because here he still was- even if Wade was alot to deal with sometimes. It reassures him sometimes, makes him feel worse at others.
Logan was always there though. No matter what, he always stuck by Wades side. He put up with the hyperactive needs to clean the apartment at 3am, and the depressive slumps in bed for days on end.
It feels strange, having someone stick by him even though he is the way he is. It's nice. It's nice and it makes him feel safe.
And yeah, when he falls back into that bad mindset again he will forget all of those positives and spin them into negatives, but for now? For now all he can focus on his how much Logan loves him.
#me? giving wade more issues? yes#bipolar#i did reasearch for this but if its not accurate im sorry#deadpool and wolverine#poolverine#deadclaws#deadpool 3#wade wilson#deadpool#logan howlett#wade x logan#logan#wade winston wilson

alright everyone, we’re picking ourselves up and going again. We’re putting ice on our split lips and busted knuckles. We’re doing our dishes and our laundry even if it stays hanging on the line for four days. We’re texting our friends back. We’re wiping the dust off our clothes. We’re booking and attending medical appointments. We’re taking the empty dishes out of our bedrooms. We’re sitting outside in the sunshine. We’re holding our heads up. We’re apologising to the people we’ve hurt. We’re forgiving ourselves.

Neurodivergent reminder: Overstimulation feels a lot like anxiety, and understimulation feels a lot like depression.
More importantly, you don't need to know which it is to practice self-care.
Self-caring anxiety and overstimulation looks the same:
Recognize you're feeling big feelings
Take as many deep breaths as your need to slow your mind
Identify what’s causing the feeling, whether sensory, environmental, or situational
Minimize that cause as much as possible immediately
Self-caring depression and understimulation looks the same:
Recognize you’re in need of stimulation
Turn on an interesting long-form video of some kind
Do some quick exercise like a walk or jumping jacks
Call a friend that'll let you infodump
If you're neurodivergent and easily get stuck on labelling things — I see you.
I'm here to remind you that you don't need to know what it is to take care of it in the meantime.
You can — will — figure it out later.

Why do sometimes really weird & unexplainable things kind of happen?
Looking at the Theoretical Intersection between Anatomy & Physiology & Electronics
***This is coming from the perspective of attempting to explain (in the most simple ways possible) how foreign advanced technology possibly “hacks” the foundations of organic life. ***
Our bodies are composed of nerves. When electricity goes from one nerve and travels to another nerve then an action occurs. When something in our environment is sensed (like hearing a noise) our organs are able to sense the information & produce electricity to carry that information back to the brain to be processed.
Anatomically we have the brain, the spinal cord, our sensory organs, cranial nerves, and “all the other individually named nerves” that branch off of those.
(There is further differentiation between central nervous system, peripheral nervous system, & autonomic, and other ways to differentiate in anatomy and physiology, but for simplicity this is how I will refer to it).
Cranial nerves are differentiated out on the list in comparison to “other nerves” because they are a specific list of major nerves that do very important & essential functions in the body.
So, nerves act as a path for electricity to follow. This electricity can produce voluntary action or involuntary actions.
Choosing to raise your hand we consider voluntary action produced by the nervous system. When something occurs without your conscious choice & occurs automatically, it is considered an involuntary action of the nervous system. For example, your heart beating would be an involuntary action.
Nerves have gaps between them & in this space neurotransmitters are released. Neurotransmitters are chemicals with the ability to cause another nerve to have an action. Neurotransmitters have different actions at different places in the body. After neurotransmitters are released they stay in this space until they are broken down by the body. The body breaks down the neurotransmitters and attempts to recycle the components to be used to make other things in the body.
Our bodies are able to use electricity because of many processes, but one major one is because we store electrolytes. Our organs and tissues use electrolytes like Sodium and Potassium to create electrical charge. This “electrical spark” causes electricity to generate so that it can be conducted through the nerves.
The human body is very complex & requires more than just electricity to function due to many components of its design, but each neuron as an individual unit is incredibly similar functionally to wires bundled into computer cables.
How does this process intersect with technology?
If someone were to attempt to hurt you with insidiously with technology it could create A LOT of very weird experiences.
If you know how to electrically stimulate parts of the body, like if you put an electrical stimulator/microchip/or another component that alters electricity in someone’s nervous system you could do a lot of weird things that people with no medical background would struggle to explain.
Machinery causing electrical impulses or “shocks” to be sent to certain part of the brain can produce many effects.
If someone sent electrical impulses down the cranial nerves it would produce a wide range of effects.
If certain cranial nerves were stimulated by someone controlling a technological component then someone could cause your body to involuntarily do the following by stimulating one of the 12 cranial nerves with electricity:
Involuntarily, as if your body moved on its own, you could feel the following:
> Your eyes to move in a certain direction, like your eyes are “locking on” to an object. Similar to how a computer program is able to “lock on” to a target
> Cause your vocal cords to move even when your mouth isn’t open
>Jaw movement & other motions of the face
>cause vertigo/dizziness/altered proprioception or your sense of orientation in space. So a lot of the symptoms of being inebriated
>control of your tongue muscles
> ***Vagus nerve or cranial nerve 10 does a lot, tampering with it could do a lot of weird things *** Possibly weird respiratory and/or internal organ symptoms like shortness of breath, changes in swallowing like dysphagia, vocal hoarseness, & many other possible and serious side effects
> Specific neck movements & turns of the head
You could also produce the sensations in someone of:
>hearing voices that aren’t there or altered processing, they talk but it’s like you can’t understand
>hearing sounds that aren’t there or altered hearing
>seeing images that aren’t there or altered sight
>smelling things that aren’t there or altered smell
>feeling things that aren’t there or altered feeling
>tasting things that aren’t there or altered taste
All of these actions and the degree to which you could “control it” would vary. Some of these are more technically complex to do, but at the most basic level “micromovements” from even just these few nerves are highly likely.
Our bodies have more than just electricity that contribute to our ability to do voluntary control as a defensive system to prevent these types of tampering events from occurring, but I think on a basic level it would still be possible to do some of these micromovements.
Without a lot of technological advancement required, the most worrying to me is a combination of seizures (which can occur when you just overload something with electricity) and/or lots of trauma producing something similar to disassociation & making people hear voices. It unfortunately often produces a mind control like feeling where other people attempt to control and/or influence your behavior.
I think in the quest for mind control, some very bad people use these types of things to hurt other people & technological advancements in subliminal messaging have greatly hurt the world through our time.
In order to fix things I think we must first understand them.

This is for the people who lost opportunities, friends, family, possessions, homes and years because of mental illness. There is still so much that you can have or regain. This isn't the end for you. Better things are ahead. It's still possible for you to be happy and feel whole. Your dreams are still within reach. You aren't broken... you're growing... and I hope someday you'll be satisfied that things didn't pan out ideally for you.

i don't know what psychotic person needs to hear this, but it is in fact okay for you to be psychotic. it's not your fault. you're not asking for it. it's something that's occurring to you. trying to force it to stop happening ALL the time is going to drain you way too much. some days you just have symptoms and it's alright. sometimes you just have to go with the flow. you're not a fuck up if you have episodes, days, weeks, months of not being able to hold it together and mask your paranoia, intrusive thoughts, delusions, hallucinations, catatonia, confusion, etc. it's alright to just be mentally ill for a bit. i love you

if you are a disabled person of any severity and can make it through a grocery shopping trip, i am proud of you and look up to you. if you can't make it through a grocery shopping trip for whatever reason, pain, anxiety, psychosis, ADHD, autism, depression, memory or attention issues, fatigue, exhaustion, irritability, confusion, dissociation, or anything else, you have my condolences because i'm right there with you, that shit sucks ass. it's needlessly complicated and its something that abled people take for granted
of course disabled people cant go across the entire store to put an item back every time. of course disabled people may need help getting items from high or low places. of course disabled people will get lost even in labeled places because of object blindness, blindness/eye problems, bad attention span, anxiety, or other issues, of course there are who can't make it through the entire store without collapsing
these stores are designed to confuse customers and trap them inside for as long as possible to increase impulse spending, of course disabled people are going to struggle to navigate the store. i love you if you're disabled and can navigate the store, kudos to you, but i also love you if you can't. it's not easy and people take for granted how easy it is for them when others can't do it at all
