Due to the robins getting progressively younger, A lot of neighbourhood kids seem to think they can also be a superhero. Jason, who knows firsthand the dangers of being a kid vigilante (he died as one, after all) opens up a Martial arts Centre for the kids of Gotham.

there’s no payment required, and you can see kids who look like they wouldn’t be out of place in the Wayne manor suburb helping a younger crime alley attendee perfect a punch-and-grab combo.

He calls it ‘Jaybirds nest’, runs it as many nights he can afford, and tries to discourage the young children from a hero’s life while still teaching them how to defend themselves.

got visions of tiny jay and bruce posing for a first day of school picture and it's just:

jason with one hand on his hip, light up sketcher shoes in a wide stance, insanely neon and sparkly school bag on his back, sassy posture, bright gap-toothed smile, deep dimples, and his other hand holding up a peace sign to frame his right eye. meanwhile bruce is towering stock still behind him, arms by his side, face barely expressive, and wearing extremely dark clothes. they are complete contrasts and it is adorable.

WAIT EVEN BETTER, It'd be longer and harder to write but I really like the idea of Jason just casually going to highschool too, and maybe it leads up to the prom. He just shows back up one day. Does something that manages to keep media attention off of him. Would it be before Red Hood? would it encourage him to not don the helmet? Would he do it while Red Hooding? Would he finally get to join an after school theater club?

wally doesn’t die in young justice, no, him and dick get married and adopt a baby and two dogs. artemis was dicks best woman bc she’s supportive and also aroace

the baby is named jason (in honour of jason bc they don’t know he’s alive yet) and when jason comes back to life no one is allowed to tell him about baby jason bc dick knows his brother will be insufferable about it.

(ironically it’s dick who spills the beans while drunk one night)

the dogs, crash and flash, were named by bart (he kept joking about how it wasn’t fair for baby jason to be named after jason and demanded he should name their dogs) (they said yes) (he panicked and named them crash and flash bc he wasn’t prepared) (it’s too late the dogs respond to nothing but crash and flash)

Not sure if you meant for the questions to be askes BUT 9 for like iskra or something would be interesting since there is a mix of human and cardassian culture, does julian celebrate any terran holidays with them?

omg I wish I was a better worldbuilder, people come up with so many fun fake little holidays. Thanks to that one throwaway line in ST:D I've unilaterally decided that Cardassian culture is very food-centric, so you know baby Iskra got taken to lots of street food festivals celebrating military victories and elections..

Julian trying to figure out which terran holidays can be safely transported and re-potted on post-Fire Cardassia (I feel like he still tries to celebrate Federation day at home just so the kids can have some positive associations. Cue him and Lim trying to figure out how to cook a desert lungfish without soliciting their neighbors' help with removing the fibrous capsule..)

Halloween is a safe bet, I think. Scaring the spirits away is vaguely Hebetian and the locals enjoy both tricks and treats. Julian gives his coworkers at the hospital candy to distribute to her.

Still got to be lots of nationalist holidays to celebrate after the war, but now they're very much tinged with bitter memories. Now they're more of an opportunity to complain about the current administration and get drunk (both activities Iskra vigorously enjoys as an adult)
