Segmented Fingers

I’m just gonna yap under the cut

I always thought robots and puppets had similar hands (which sounds like a weird connection to make until you hafta draw BALL JOINTS A MILLION TIMES-) so I wanted to draw a mini comic pointing out the similarities :)

I hc Spamton’s puppetification as being similar to a degenerative disability. In the big shot era, I imagine he was more similar to a plush doll than a puppet, but the fabric has decayed and he’s left with stiff, wooden fingers. He knows he’s stuck with it and there’s very little he can do to make it better, so he’s given up trying to find a “cure.” Still, he stays optimistic for Tenna’s sake. Tenna definitely feels like he could’ve done more to help before it got to be as bad as it is, but Spamton knows this was inevitable.

Having shitty joints that get worse with time, over reactions to small things, little to no volume control…. How many self indulgent traits can I fit into this weird ass puppet man?? The world may never know.
