some people are haunted by embarrassing memories. i am haunted by the time i was playing undertale with a group of friends and, while we were all doing voices, I got hit with a “have you??? practiced this before??” because I said my lines with a little too much confidence, including occasionally saying the lines before they were even on screen.

i know it’s a silly thing to be proud of, but i’d written off the secret bosses as too difficult for my casual playthrough, especially since i’m playing on switch. but despite that, I just went back to try jevil again and. i beat him on my first try. so even though i know he’s not terribly difficult by this game’s standards, i’m still very happy with myself.

time to go fight spamton next i guess.

Oh hey. Something I did not realize until I started watching a separate playthrough—my player profile is META, because that’s my name that I use for everything. So later, when the castle town is named after you, the NPC called it “METAtown,” to which I responded “oh! like Mettaton” and proceeded to not realize that it had referenced my player name at all.
