Is there any other reason why Black Raisin Cookie hates Shadow Milk Cookie besides from the fact that he’s one of the five beasts that used to cause chaos and destruction? (If she’s ever heard the story of the five beasts before) (Black Raisin, if Shadow Milk dares to betray you guys, I’m helping you kick his ass)

black raisin knows what has happened in beast yeast, pure vanilla told her everything and brought up to speed with the whole mess happening currently. and considering how protective she is of those she cares about, she obviously holds a lot of grudge and is very wary of shadow milk. he hurt her friends very badly, he hurt so many other cookies too. and not to mention, everyone worked so hard to have a new, safe home, she will not let him endanger anyone else whatsoever

also, she thinks he is fucking ANNOYING

do you think there would be any future posibility for dejammed shmilk to grow fond of the younger cookies(ginger, wizard, strawberry, etc) and maybe his entertainer persona could come to play in showing them cool things or tricks?

anyway, a bit more of a serious answer, thats honestly one of main things that made me wanna start this au. i love character exploration, observing them under a microscope and putting them in situations (especially difficult or unusual to them personally) to see how theyd act.

i really want to put shilk through the horrors of regaining something that he lost a long time ago when he started corrupting. and now that he is basically a regular cookie again, he has the opportunity to interact with others. and the more he spends time with others, the more familiar everything becomes. the hostility and malice slowly melts when he actually realizes that teaching again, or trying to get a genuine laugh out of someone feels... good?

sharing his knowledge with the pink robot kid who soaks up all of it like a sponge and always wants to learn more, or teaching the self-taught wizard hat twerp some more complicated magics, or organizing a show that doesnt require tormenting people, instead providing them with actual fun times is a surprisingly nice change

and it only gets worse when the inevitable soft spot starts forming. oh the horrors, disgusting. all of this is temporary while they work towards a common goal. he cant have a funny feeling in his chest when children let out a genuine laugh, or when the little wizard gleefully manages to cast a difficult spell they both have been working on. unacceptable, stomp that feeling down into the ground and bury it

i wont say he mellows out that much though, i dont want for him to lose what makes him a fun character. plus itd just erase not only what he has done, but also what he experienced. i dont want it to be a total redemption and change of character, but at the same time... i just like the stories where villains/antagonists have to work with the protagonists for one reason or another, becoming begrudging allies and starting to actually bond (megamind or coach oleander and loboto, not to mention earlier ice king or dr nefarious and many other cases)

also, in case anyone wondered if it also includes the other beasts...

Do dejammed Beasts need to eat like normal cookies do? Mystic Flour refused a peach while on her mountain ascension trip but said peach was special so I am not sure if it was really about hunger or about its ability to bring relief. I do not recall if anything was said in canon about whether they need to eat normally either but- wouldn't it be funny if Shadow Milk Cookie was sitting in the prison only to realize that yeah he is that mortal now.

dejammed beasts do need to eat, they are mortal again meaning they need to take care of their new bodies which arent being powered up by a soul jam anymore.

i think even before corrupting they had to eat, but once they got locked up in the tree and became spirits they didnt need to (since their bodies were lost). and looking at for how long theyve been trapped in there, i imagine they just... forgot that they need to eat (not to mention many other things that come with having a physical body but i digress).

your idea is honestly exactly what i was planning to happen after shadow milk (and other beasts as well) got locked up. after recovering enough from dejamming to wake up, he would start feeling (even more) weird and bad. only when he is offered food he remembers that oh wait. right. this is a thing. though i think hed find the sensation of eating again after so long very gross. but its something he cant avoid. sucks to suck, get used to it blue guy

What are the Awakened Ancients like in Dejammed? Is the form permanent, or temporary akin to a magical girl transformation? ...Do they also grow in size?

to be honest im still not entirely sure, mostly because we have seen only two awakened ancients (not counting leaks of awakened pure vanilla).

but based on what we have so far, id say that that in dark cacaos case it was just magical girl transformation and he can basically change his clothes back to normal.

golden cheese on the other hand had an actual permanent transformation, mostly because due to how she had her wings torn off, so awakening granted her them back along with a new form.

neither of them changed like beasts did after the corruption though. will it be different with other ancients? we will see how the story goes in next chapters
