Honestly, there is a certain type of fetishizing of violence that occurs when you are the victim of abuse - wherein people talk directly to you about how much they fantasize about your abuser/s dying and being killed - "all abusers must be killed!" they say.
As a victim of prolonged abuse, I never felt cared for when people indulged that information to me. It often feels like my abuse is being exploited for others to enact their own violent fantasies and secret desires - my abuse means nothing to them in the same way that I didn't matter to my abusers. It's not support - it's just another cycle of violence.
I'm begging people to care more about victims and survivors than they do about retribution of abusers. Nowhere along the way should your focus on the abuser outweigh the people affected by their abuse. If you truly want to support abuse victims and survivors, start with us
#mental health#abuse#abuse recovery#abuse tw#abuse mention tw#i for one find it SO insulting when people take MY abuse story and make it about THEIR homicidal fantasies toward my abusers#let me be selfish and say: let MY experience if abuse be MINE#that's a position i hold for every victim and survivor. it is YOUR story and you at the LEAST deserve to narrate it as YOU see fit#maybe you DO agree and wouldn't care if your abuser/s died. that's not up to us to decide for you though#and you CERTAINLY don't need other people to speak *for* you about how you ought to feel

10 of my favorite easy glow up tips! 𐙚 ‧₊˚ ⋅
get a gua sha!! not expensive at all and made such a difference in my face shape and carving out my cheek bones and jawline. there’s lots of good tutorials on tiktok or youtube!
tea in the morning/night! there’s so many teas to help with different things but my favorite’s are spearmint tea for clearing skin and green tea for reducing bloating.
ice your face! helps SO much with de-puffing and closing up your pores! dipping your face in a bowl with ice water can reduce inflammation, help with acne and reduce oily skin!
make sure to get enough sleep! It’s so easy to stay up scrolling on tumblr until the sun comes up but getting enough sleep is so important mentally and physically!
find a skincare routine that works for you and remember too much skincare can be bad for your skin! my skin was breaking out the worst when i was using a bunch of skincare and It’s cleared so much since i simplified my routine.
use a lash/brow serum! my favorite brand is grande lash and it’s a little pricey but using castor oil works as well and it’s super affordable.
going on walks! I’ve never been a fan of intense exercises and I’m a chronic bed rotter but putting on my favorite hot girl playlist and strutting on the treadmill/sidewalk is genuinely so fun!
rosemary oil for hair growth! my holy grail of hair growth products along with a scalp massager. my whole life my hair grew so slow and since using rosemary oil i have to trim my bangs twice a month sometimes!
i cannot stress this one enough..wear what YOU want! don’t let new trends or judgment from others stop you from embracing your true style. we look our best when we feel most confident!
most importantly ~ take care of yourself! make sure you’re eating enough, drinking water, listening to your body and being gentle with yourself always. improving ourselves can be so fun but make sure it’s not at the expense of your mental health <3

Unlocking One Secret to a Healthy Heart — Move
Unraveling the Enigma of Cardiovascular Synergy: A Journey to Optimal Heart Health
The essence of nurturing a robust and thriving heart for a lifetime of wellness is no clandestine affair. The medical fraternity has long expounded upon the indelible role of physical exertion in propagating cardiovascular well-being. But how, precisely, does this intricate symphony of heart and exercise unfold? Come, let us unfurl the tapestry of scientific brilliance that weaves this magical connection.
Decoding the Intricacies of Exercise and Cardiovascular Vitality
Engaging in the realm of physical exertion, be it through brisk pedestrianism, sprightly jogs, fluidic swimming, or rhythmical cycling, orchestrates a wondrous metamorphosis within our corporeal abode. The salient repercussion of such exertion lies in its virtuous impact on the cardiovascular system. In the throes of kinetic activity, our cardiac rhythm resounds with heightened fervor, propelling a cascade of vitalizing blood and life-nurturing oxygen to every nook and cranny of our corporeal temple. It is this harmonious symphony of regular workouts that bestows upon our heart an enhanced vigor, making it a formidable guardian of our vital essence.
Mitigating the Specter of Cardiovascular Afflictions
Inert inactivity, entwined with prolonged stasis, births a loathsome specter, cloaking the heart in vulnerability to afflictions of a cardiovascular nature. Yet, the noble pursuit of an active life emerges as a potent talisman, casting asunder the malevolent specter of heart disease. The gospel of empirical evidence is resolute in its revelation - adherents of a recurrent exercise liturgy are bestowed with a mantle of immunity against the menacing adversaries of hypertension, atherosclerosis, and the malevolent fiends known as heart attacks.
The Sorcery of Endorphins
The boon bestowed by exercise transcends the mere corporeal realm and reverberates through the ethereal abode of our minds. The mystique of this enchantment lies in the arcane alchemy of endorphins - the ethereal philters of felicity that permeate our being during the sacred ritual of physical exertion. These ethereal elixirs, renowned as "feel-good" hormones, unshackle the chains of stress, anxiety, and melancholy that afflict our psyche. In the mellifluous wake of these euphoric essences, our mental citadels are fortified, and the heart finds solace amidst the tranquil landscape of a rejuvenated mind.
Forging the Crucible of Cardiovascular Exertion
Having fathomed the profundity of exercise in fostering cardiac resplendence, we now embark on the epochal quest to forge a sustainable and efficacious regimen of corporeal devotion. Behold, the veritable grail of consistency shall be your vanguard, as the steadfast pursuit of moderate exertion surmounts the transient blaze of sporadic intensity.
1. Verily, Seek Counsel from the Custodian of Health
Before venturing upon the hallowed path of physical invocations, prostrate thyself before the custodians of health. For, they shall discern thy medical chronicles and current state of well-being, wielding their wisdom to craft a bespoke liturgy of exertion, attuned to thy unique exigencies and faculties.
2. A Gentle Prelude to a Symphonic Journey
Should thou stand as a neophyte amidst the riddles of physicality, let not trepidation tether thy strides. Embark upon a pilgrimage of low-impact parleys - the suave tango of pedestrian saunters and supple stretches. As the months wane, a crescendo of intensity shall reveal itself, an ode to the adaptability of mortal sinews.
3. A Cavalcade of Cardiovascular Embellishments
A conclave of exertions beckons thee - 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobics or 75 minutes of vigorous orchestration, to be observed with ritualistic fidelity throughout the septenary's cycle. Invoke the somatic throes of running, the aqueous embrace of swimming, or the rhythmical revelry of dance, and thou shall bestow upon thy heart the nectar of rejuvenation.
4. The Ironclad Citadel of Muscular Fortitude
Bolster thy physique with the rhythmic tempests of strength training, for within this crucible of resolve shall arise the edifice of sinewy potency. Behold, the fruits of muscular ascendancy resonate far beyond mere vanity, fostering the corporeal poise prerequisite to heart health.
5. The Ballet of Flexibility and Equilibrium
As the seasons weave their tapestry, tether thyself to the ethereal ballet of flexibility and equilibrium. Emanate the yogic expanse or the tai chi's serenity, for within these graceful parleys, the sanguine specter of falls and injuries dissipates into oblivion.
May this compendium of knowledge light thy path on the venerable journey to a heart fortified by the synergy of exercise and cardiovascular splendor. Embrace the arcane profundities of these tenets, for within them lies the elixir of life, a cherished key to longevity and fulfillment.

𝜗𝜚 my extensive morning routine - for the girlies who need their alone time ,, especially before a hectic day ++ free printable !!
drink water
this is an absolute game-changer ! bonus if its warm or room temperature, really gets the metabolism going as well as soothes your throat !!
make your bed
this makes my room look MUCH neater, and gives me peace of mind + incentive not to get back under the covers and doze off again TT
meditation
another thing that calms me down greatly and gets me focused and set for the day, i really recommend lavendaire, her meditations are top-tier and she has several lengths to pick from
morning yoga
debloat yoga or stretching is a must for me, it helps aid my digestion as well as reduce bloating in the morning.
exercise
i like to do either shirlyn kim, april han, chloe ting or momomi workouts in the morning ending with a hinafit's full body stretch that's twenty minutes long. i use chloe ting's workouts as cardio mostly and then a set of targeted hiit from momomi and relaxing pilates from shirlyn kim and april han.
i am also trying to go on walks in the morning as well TT
skincare + dental care
my skincare routine in the morning is cleanser + toner + hydrogel + sunscreen + matte sunstick + lip balm and my dental care routine is herbal toothpaste + fluoride toothpaste + mouthwash. i wash my hands between and before/after steps.
shower routine
i use a pumice stone and sugar scrub in the shower to exfoliate along w baby soap and shower gel to clean up. i apply three layers of moisturizer + coconut oil on getting out !!
reading
in the mornings, i like to either annotate classics or read my weekly self-help book or just read educational nonfiction and take notes in my commonplace journal about them.
journalling
i fill out five affirmations, five things i'm grateful for as well as my intentions for the day. i also write down what would make my day great, as well as habits to focus on (at least three)
planning
i plan w/ my planners, notebook and wall calendar spread as well as notion and a habit app, as well as google sheets.
that wraps up this post, and here is the printable checklist spanning four days

🎀 Current At Home Workout Equipment I Own
Thick Yoga Mat - since I do mainly yoga and pilates my thick yoga may (amazon brand) has served me well. Even tho I am a heavier woman at the moment, I've never had pain or any issues with this mat, and it came with a carry strap which I love! A good, thick workout mat is definitely necessary for working out at home for comfort, safety, etc. Make sure to disinfect it on occasion, especially if you sweat on it a lot!
Resistance Bands - I have about 3 or 4 at different resistance strengths, and they're incredibly useful for a variety of movements, especially lower body ones. They add some extra resistance and make the workouts a bit more challenging when you need something more advanced. I also got mine from Amazon/Walmart a while back. I prefer fabric over rubber because I like to wear workout shorts instead of workout leggings.
Pilates Ball - not a necessity, but useful with some pilates workouts and movements. I have seen sole videos using this, but am not advanced enough to try it on my own yet. Will use for sure once I'm more advanced.
3lb dumbbells - I thought these would be useful for the pilates workouts that had some upper body focus, and as someone who wants to develop a lean and toned upper body, they are perfect for low weight high rep, controlled movements. Again, not advanced enough to use as I want to master my form, but they're gonna come in handy for sure!
Foam Roller - so so good for stretching and muscle recovery on rest days. I love mine but want one that has the bump things on it to help my muscles more. I can imagine how good it'll feel on my legs during a recovery day when I begin wieght lifting again.
Massage Gun - my holy grail for the days I am sore and needing some recovery. my body feels like jelly after using this, and it's just so nice for the days my muscles feel extra tight and super sore.
🎀 Equipment I Want To Buy
Yoga Blocks - these will help me get deeper into the yoga poses once I get more advanced in my practice
Pilates Ring - this honestly looks so fun and challenging to use, I'd love to add it to my collection of useful workout equipment!
Jump Rope - I used to love this as a form of cardio and as long as I don't move into an upstairs apartment, I'm definitely buying one
Pilates Bar - still iffy on this one, it's supposed to mimic a reformer but I want to get better at mat pilates and see if I even end up ever needing or seriously wanting to buy it, its on my list tho
Ankle/Wrist weights - these are gonna be so useful for workouts where hand held dumbbells aren't useful. Want to buy some low weight ones just to help with resistance and extra strength during pilates workouts
Kettlebell weight - I think this would be useful for a workout at home type situation if and when I switch to not doing just pilates and yoga. I know these are useful in their own right, but not needed in my current fitness stage of life.
Core Sliders - these look fun and interesting. They're on my lost for sure, but not sure about the practicality of their use in my life just yet.
That's all that's currently on my at home workout equipment list! As someone who primarily works out at home, the things I currently own are most useful and most of what's on this list is for fun or extra challenge. Just not necessary yet.
hope you enjoyed this list! if you have any questions about my favorite youtuber workout instructors or favorite videos, please feel free to ask, I've tried so many and can give some guidance from my own experience and research.

STAYING IN 2024: holding back, waiting for a special occasion to dress up, accusing anything fun and silly and harmless of being "cringe", debating ideology with irrelevant people, being a couch potato, immediate reactions, just reading headlines, worrying about wrinkles, Twitter, food substitutes, true crime exploitation, aesthetic journaling.
COMING TO 2025: more outdoor walks, being willingly ignorant of things that don't concern me, turning off devices, cooking in the oven, studying about and being smarter with finances, face-to-face conversations, loyalty to local shops, not complaining, supporting immigrants, complex carbohydrates, learning about the native fauna and flora, public transport, temporary tattoos, discovering a signature homemade masala, citric perfumes, being radically private, classical music.

🎀 Hobbies 🎀
I feel as tho I don't have much time to do things besides school, work, some chores, and survive right now, but I've been thinking about some hobbies I enjoy and would like to incorporate into my life when I decide to make the time without burning out!
Reading - I used to be big on reading just about any books I could get my hands on. Then I was really focused on reading self help, and now that I haven't been reading at all, I've been thinking about getting back into reading. Always looking for book recommendations, and I do have my eye on some books I'd like to purchase.
Gardening - if I had the time and space, I'd love to have a flower garden or a vegetable garden. It always makes me happy when the fruits of my efforts come to life, so tending to plants and gardening sounds super fun and relaxing.
Video Games - I used to play video games on and off, but I wouldn't mind owning a PS4 or a Switch and spending some time playing video games whenever I'd want time to wind down.
Cooking/Baking - I love learning things, and the sense of pride I've gotten in the past when receiving praise for things I've cooked or baked has really driven me to want to increase my skill. I've only baked something from scratch once in my life, but I'd really like to expand my skills in making desserts.
Exercise - I'm talking all forms of it! Dancing, martial arts/kickboxing type activities, yoga, pilates, running, swimming, spin/cycling, weight lifting (again), calisthenics, all of it! I don't currently look like the exercise type but I find various forms of movement to be so fun! If I had more time, I'd be trying new things all the time!
Volunteer work - This is something I used to do all the time, and it's a hobby that I enjoyed that kept me humble. Not only that, but I thoroughly enjoy showing kindness and compassion to others. Making a difference in anuwau brings me so much joy, and I love meeting new people and learning their stories. I also would love to volunteer with animals, because they deserve so much love and affection too!
Drawing/Art - I used to draw for fun but when I started college, I didn't have the time to devote to continuously increasing my art skills. I still own a sketch kit, coloring materials, and several sketchbooks so it really is a matter of having time.
Crochet - The thought of making things that I can gift to others seriously makes me so excited!! Crochet seems like such a fun, crafty, relaxing activity and the added fun of gifting those crafts to others would make it so fun!!
Scrapbooking - I don't know if I'd ever do this one, but I do Ike the idea of keeping my memories in a physical space, and not just in like pictures on my phone.
Learning - if school wasn't crazy busy, I'd spend all my time learning languages (ASL, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Mandarin, Italian, etc), computer coding skills, how to make and do certain things, just anything I can do to keep my mind enriched.
Upcycling/Altering Clothes - I would love to upcycle or alter articles of clothes into more personalized pieces for myself. The thought of having a personalized, hand made closet full of clothes makes me really want to buy a sewing machine and learn how to use it to my advantage!
That's all I can think of for now that I'd like to someday incorporate into my life. Having hobbies is always so fun, but I've been so busy and tired that I don't mess with any of the hobbies I'd want to do. If anyone has any tips for time management, or resources for beginning new hobbies, please let me know!!
