I was never overweight but I was not healthy, fit, or athletic before I started training in martial arts. I started lifting weights after I stopped training martial arts because I didn't like the way my body looked. When I was younger I had lots of dizzy spells and I fainted a few times because I was under weight. Pictured is 2013 to 2023.

Progress pics. Not a massive difference but this is after only a month of dieting. Calorie deficit works guys. Even though only 1,400 calories a day makes me want to eat my own arm. Snacking on cucumber just isn’t the same as snacking on a lotus biscoff donut.
Now I’ve made myself hungry.

I met my now husband and he taught me how to cook. I began walking every day just for fun and lost 15kg in like 3 months without realising. I began lifting small weights and doing yoga, learning about my food allergies which I had been ignoring, seeing a dietician to help my disordered eating (over and under eating) and in 2020 I finally managed to get to a stable weight and keep it after years of yoyoing and struggling with multiple eating disorders.
Just find a type of exercise you enjoy, cook home cooked meals and check your portions, eat veggies and drink water. You don't have to starve/eat gross food to lose weight.

Hi Bunnies
Here are the first pictures of me after my breast reduction and lift 10 days ago. I still have a lot of swelling in my abdomen and bust area. Lots of bruising. But I’m off narcotics and I’m sleeping through the night. Try sleeping flat of your back all night. Misery!
No running or lifting for 4 weeks. But I can start walking and light upper body exercises this week.
Comparison photo: May 2020 versus January 2023.
201 lbs versus ~138 lbs.
Life doesn’t stop at menopause. I will trust my journey in 2023.
