How to feel alive/stop being bored out of your mind, a guide for losers
jump on your bed, write something teeny tiny on the walls, break a small rule
get a dollar worth of pennies and write lucky on them and drop one or two at places you go
bury something small that you like in a place you feel safe
make a small bracelet/anklet, even if its just a piece of sting and never take it off
take a really really cold shower
go star gazing/look at the moon
write a letter to your past/future self
write bad poetry/nice messages and tuck it into books at the library
sit and listen to a song that was your favorite four or five years ago, don't do anything else but sit and listen to it
make a trash journal. Get a cheap notebook and write down EVERYTHING in there, carry it around with you. It will help you figure out who you are/remind you that you are a person.
when was the last time you felt alive? Like really alive? If you remember, write it down in as much detail as you can. If you don't know, write down a time you were happy or very angry. Honestly, any strong emotion will work.
create a bad drawing, like kindergartener level. If you want, fold it up and stick it onto your fridge.
block that person
tell someone how much you appreciate them
put old things you don't need anymore in a box, write take care of it on top, and leave it somewhere
write positive graffiti in public restroom stalls
bake bread

Nézhā: So you’re dating Sūn Wùkōng? Èrláng Shén: What? No! I’m just buying them an accessory since they have terrible fashion sense. Nézhā: That’s literally a wedding ring.

You know those days when you wake up and you have a whole to-do list to complete, but you can't even get out of bed? When you know what you have to do, but you just don't have the motivation to do it? And then you open your phone, scroll right through social media and find those messages telling you not to rely on motivation, to be disciplined, and to stay consistent with your goals...But the couch is soooo freaking comfortable and you still can't bring yourself to put in the work.
That's the painful truth. Not everyone is disciplined. Not everyone who starts their self-improvement journey can just forget their mood or turn off their feelings. And here comes the magic- when you can't be disciplined, you have to rely on motivation. Or, well, to build it yourself.
There are 2 types of motivation: extrinsic (when you do the task because of an external factor; eg. you work for money) and intrinsic (when you are driven by an internal factor; eg. you study because you find the subject interesting and you want to learn more about it). As you probably figured out, intrinsic motivation will always beat the other type, simply because people with this kind of motivation enjoy their level-up journey and stop looking for results. When you actually like what you do, you are able to stay consistent and reach your goals effortlessly. So ask yourself: What do you think is interesting or meaningful? Can you implement these things in your routine?
Another way to get motivated is by surrounding yourself with people that inspire you. For example, if you want to get fit, go to the gym when it is the most crowded. Look at people that work toward their goals. I guarantee you will be more likely to complete your sets. Finding a community or talking to friends (with the same interests as you) can boost your mood and make you feel understood.
You don't have to do this alone!
Something about motivation: Motivation is often divided into two phases: in the first phase, the individual establishes a goal, while in the second phase, they attempt to reach this goal. It is easy to be enthusiastic when you haven't started yet. The difficult part comes when you have to keep going. For the days when you just don't have it in yourself, try making everything easy. Study for 5 minutes, go to the gym and walk for ten minutes on the treadmill, meditate for one minute, read two pages. Also, listen to music, make it enjoyable, make it seem like the action itself is a reward. If that doesn't work, then simply play your favorite song and try doing the task until the end of it.
Hack: Make extrinsic motivation work for you! Set a reward and let the magic begin!
There isn't a wrong way to complete a task - stick with what works for you!
People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily. – Zig Ziglar
I hope this helps!

First off, giving up an old bad habit is difficult, that I know; however, it is not impossible. I've had a lot of difficulties in my life where I repeated the same habit over and over again and I thought for me I would never overcome them. But you know what changed? trying. I tried my best every day and even if I failed, I slowly accepted that I am not perfect and I am only human. That is who we are, and that is why Allah the Almighty is so merciful, because Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala himself knows we humans will slip up and fall. But listen, it's not impossible and as annoying as it is, as long as you keep trying, keep having that good intentions of becoming better and to do better; trust me those habits will be history.
Whenever we do something for the sake of our lord, everything works out, everything clicks together. These habits you have won't be vanished for one day of course, or a week, it's a process--a journey that we all need to accept. Think of it as a fitness journey, you won't get fit in one day. These things take time and after feeling so negative about myself I realized as long as you try, asking Allah for help, and doing the most you can--it is possible.
I hope these tips do help you, and everyone is different as everyone has different struggles and bad habits. These will either help you or guide you to overcome those habits in your own way. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala make it easy for us.

I have seen a video of someone asking a scholar why do I still commit these bad deeds/habits if I am performing my five daily prayers? and the answer to this was the quality of your namaz. Do you rush into prayer, are you zoning out, are you not on time for namaz, and etc.
There is of course a lot to this but the quality of your namaz and how much time you spend with our lord does affect our hearts.
One of many ways to re-connect with our lord to become better with our daily prayers are:
Performing your prayers on time (I understand how our laziness could get in the way or how we are so into whatever we were doing before and cannot detach ourselves from this but, a quote I read and did help me at times like this was "Put your time and effort to Allah, and Allah will put his time and effort to you too.")
Recite a dua/surah after your namaz (Ayetel kursi, a repentance dua, La ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul hamdu, yuhyi wa yumitu, wa huwa ala kulli shay'in qadir, and etc.)
Perform your wudhu 15-10 minutes earlier (Let me tell you when I did this it was so effective. When you perform wudhu earlier, you are in a clear-minded state and are purified. Along with you being on time for namaz, this additionally helps you become more focused during namaz)
Perform Dhikr (Subhanallah, Alhamdullilah, Astaghfirullah, La illaha illallah, Allahu Akbar)
Learn the meaning of what you are reciting (When you learn and understand the meaning of the surah/dua's you are reciting, being focused becomes easier and the connection becomes stronger)

⤑ 𝑫𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔
Create distractions for yourself to not commit those deeds/habits!
Do what you love and enjoy (Go back to those hobbies you used to enjoy! or hang out with your friends and family.)
Educate yourself (Look up interesting things; Learn something new; Watch an islamic podcast)
Get to work (If you have any outstanding work or homework, get straight to it.)
Learn a new surah (Let's say you REALLY have nothing else to do, then what better way to spend that time in something worthy--learning a surah!)
Go outside and enjoy nature!

⤑ 𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑮𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝑯𝒂𝒃𝒊𝒕𝒔
Along with giving up those bad habits, create new good habits to incorporate in your day-to-day life!
Each day, add something in your routine--even if its small! For instance, get back to that skin care routine you were so lazy to do; or go on that walk you kept saying later to; or even folding your clothes and organizing your closet. Each time you add a good habit to do, you become distracted to those bad habits, have less time do commit them, and on the long run you are creating habits for a better difference!
With this in mind, please do not do everything at once. To prevent a negative on-going cycle, just like that book "Atomic Habits" said, that "If you can get 1% better each day for one year, you'll end up with 37 times better by the time you're done."
A habit to always include and progress even more is repentance! Recite and repeat Astaghfirullah; Ya Gaffar and Ya Gafoor; as well as the repentance surah's! Before doing anything, always say Bismillah and whether you're doing chores or scrolling on your phone, always say Astaghfirullah. This helps you be more aware of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala!
And lastly, remember you can do it!
: ̗̀➛ Allahumma musarrifal-qulubi, sarrif qulubana 'ala ta'atika
O Allah! Controller of the hearts, direct our hearts to Your obedience.

That is, huh. A lot more of a thought out response then what I was going for lol. I was like “what little rat does that remind you of” “the dude spying in the castle just now” when I rhetorically said “what shadowpeach does that remind you of” and you debunked it 😭 but since we’re talking about this now
Wiki calls em “an interconnected, self-perpetuating cycle. Yin and yang can be thought of as complementary and at the same time opposing forces that interact to form a dynamic system. Yin and yang transform each other: like an undertow in the ocean, every advance is complemented by a retreat, and every rise transforms into a fall.” Idk about you but with Mac getting chaos powers, I figured the show might take inspo from this, what with the cycles and all too. There might be an opposite “order” power in contrast to Nines. If Pandora’s box is literal, MK is “hope” there’s a lot of other symbolism fandom likes the stereotypically portray into their ShadowPeach lol. But they have day/night too. Nobody has to think too hard to take inspo, and most shows don’t in my experience. Shout out to Ninjago and ATLA just mixing culture and language in a way that annoys people and placing it under one umbrella.
well i mean, lmk is already playing with the themes of order and chaos. except there Order was on the side of the antagonists while MK was Chaos (being the harbinger and all). we saw it with LBD and Azure and now with Nines
also, lmk’s order can be seen when it talks about Fate and Destiny and even the “story”, but in a way where they are shown as being too fixed and bureaucratic compared to the lessons being taught to MK and by MK which are “your fate (order) is your own and can only be determined by you.”
we had it with MK telling LBD “do you really think the universe cares about any of us?”
we had it when Macky told MK “if you tread the paths already carved for you, then you doom yourself into a self-fulfilling prophecy”
we have it even more explicitly in s5 from Wukong: “sometimes you need to carve your own path and fuck all the rest”
lmk is all about finding that balance between the chaos of your mind and the forced order of the world around you. our own daily ying and yang that we must balance, and that is why i don't place those themes with shadowpeach just because it takes away from the crux of the show where it’s original focus is on MK and how he changes and grow throughout the seasons
tbh i think their day/night themes with ying/yang are significantly minor. the major focus with them is the themes of betrayal and reconciliation and past haunts

Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love.

I’m just gonna-
Borrow the “A spark cannot shatter all shadows until it sets all ablaze. Or else to the other end of light, lies still bleak shades.” quote from Arlecchino’s demo and change it a little…
And lend it to Rose cough cough, as one of Merlin’s famous quotes written in the book about Merlin’s deeds that Hugin mentioned cough cough.

Let me tell you about a sneaky little detail. If you notice the bottom half of the Magister Supreme illustration i did a while ago, you will see a few spark here and there, faint light from unknown source on her dress.
Yep, that’s right. She’s committing arson.
