Random thoughts...I keep seeing this question here about how to get rid of desire. There is no cure for desire, for yearning, for longing. No quick fixes, no band aids. Why do you want to get rid of it ?Are you insane, how fortunate it is to have the hunger for something or someone in life. Live with it, use it to create something beautiful, build yourself up, broken is not your default setting, dress well, smell great, become a beautiful work of art, make your life delicious, spread it thin like cream cheese on everything. Cry, obsess, you'll not feel the need to one day, I promise. What's life without it? Look around you, the ones who have everything are also missing something.
