I hope this email doesn't find you.

I hope you've escaped and now you're free.

I hope tomorrow never comes.

I hope we spiral in a loop of dance and love.

I hope when life drags you to a corner,

you'd let it talk and kiss your mouth.

I hope when pain cuts your skin,

you'd press the gash and let it bleed.

I hope when the rain falls over,

it spots you out and wash the tears.

I hope when you stumble down,

It scrapes your knee and not your brain.

I hope when the lover comes,

the day is bleak and sky is grey.

I hope when you let them go,

they carry your dust, your scent, your taste.

At last, when there's nothing to hope,

you'd know it's a gimmick- the life they preach.

But I hope, you'd wish, and long, and dream,

a way to sky, to pluck the stars and burn your life.
