This is a small blog and yet, guess how I discovered Tumbral? Because I was poking through google images and recognized one of my own gifs that was linked from that horrid site. 

Literally their opt-out link is a link for how to delete your Tumblr blog. So there really is no way from what I can tell. 

Please remember that we creators aren’t associated with shady, yucky sites like these! 

STOP SCROLLING!!! Fake “Tumblrs” Stealing Blogs, Posts, AND INFO

Many of you, I’m sure, have heard of these 3 lovely sites that straight up STEAL OUR FREAKING CONTENT. If you have a tumblr blog, I can guarantee you’re on all three.

We have:

Tumbex

Tumbral

and Tumgir

As and artist who literally write on every. Single. Post “Don’t Repost or edit” I AM INFURIATED.

There are not one, not two, but THREE blogs taking ALL of my content from ALL FIVE OF MY BLOGS without permission, and no way to contact or remove it. All of their emails are fake. So trying is fruitless. Not to mention they are all absolutely INFESTED with viruses. (If you decided to look yourself up, click out almost instantly)

Not ONLY do they steal all my (and your) work, but they ALSO post all your stats. No no, I’m not talking about notes. (Though they got those too >:() I’m talking about Your blog private stats.

Point is, you NEED TO KNOW that every. SIngle. Post. You make is uploaded to this site in REAL TIME. The second you hit “Blog”. 

It’s honestly disgusting since, as an artist, I work VERY hard and its really not that hard to respect my wishes of not being reposted without a heads up. Imagine my surprise when I found My Varian art while searching google for a website I DIDN’T EVEN KNOW EXISTED!!!! How messed up is that?

There is currently no way to take your blog off these sites, and so a warning to all:

We are being monitored. Your blogs are being shown to people not of this site, whether you have search on google/tumblr enabled or not. It keeps reposting. 

PLEASE BE CAREFUL MORE THAN EVER ABOUT WHAT YOU POST! And avoid posting private information because it’s now more exposed. YOU are more exposed.

We are all at risk, and if anyone knows more or a way to rid our blogs from the sites, PLEASE REBLOG WITH ANSWERS!! This breaks many privacy codes. 

I’m not sure what else to do other than reblog this information to help others know, and watch what you post. But please please Please Be careful.

Sometimes I feel like we forget how dangerous this internet is.
