(Okay so I'm gonna copy paste my ramblings about this art from discord because everything about this is just CHEF'S KISS IT'S SO PERFECT AND I NEVER REALIZED HOW WELL THEY TIE INTO UNOVAN LORE also this was after talking about up and down trains and how they tie into the shapes of their mouths as well as why ingo was sent back in time for a pun) So in unovan lore there were two brothers that wanted to shape the early Unova region. The older brother sought to build a world of truth, while the younger sought to build one on ideals. So the ancient dragon that helped them create Unova split into two parts (well technically 3 but kyurem isn’t important to this part). Reshiram, the white dragon, sided with the older brother, and Zekrom, the black dragon, with the younger. Zekrom, being the electric dragon, seems to represent pushing towards the future in a way as well, and by extension Reshiram with fire would represent being rooted in the past (fire being an ancient invention). SO HAVING THE OLDER BROTHER BEING SENT BACK TO THE PAST IS LIKE A REFERENCE TO UNOVAN LORE!!! AND BECAUSE HES TRYING TO REMEMBER THE TRUTH!!! And then having Emmet stay in the future and try to fight towards his ideal world of getting his brother back!! AND IDEALS WITHOUT TRUTH AND TRUTH WITHOUT IDEALS!!!! BECAUSE THEYRE SEPARATED SO THEY CANT WORK WITHOUT EACH OTHER!!!

And THEN!!!! The other aspect of Reshiram and Zekrom is that they represent Yang and Yin respectively! And THATS ALSO LIKE INGO AND EMMET BECAUSE INGO IS MORE SUBDUED WHICH IS LIKE WHATS REPRESENTED BY YIN AND HE WEARS THE DARK COAT AND EMMET IS MORE ENERGETIC AND WEARS THE LIGHT COAT SO ITS LIKE YANG

And we KNOW they tie into Reshiram and Zekrom because Ingo’s got Chandelure who’s a fire ttype and Emmet has galvantula who’s electric ITS JUST LIKE RESHIRAM WITH THE FIRE AND THE OLDER BROTHER AND THE TRUTH AND THEN ZEKROM WITH THE ELECTRIC AND THE YOUNGER BROTHER AND IDEALS AND THIS ISNT EVEN TOUCHING ON THEIR COATS WHICH HAVE THE SAME PATTERN AS RESHIAND ZEKROMS TAILS

AND THEY HAVE GREY HAIR LIKE FUCKIGN

KYUREM

CHAT

AND THEY BOTH HAVE THE RED AND BLUE FROM THE FIRE AND LIGHTNING AND ITS ALL A BIG REFERENCE TO POKEMON RED AND BLUE IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT

Art rec! Lady Sneasler with her warden and the Shiny Warden? (If Emmet also fell with Ingo?)

BIG FAN OF THIS ACTUALLY. quite enjoyable. Ingo and Emmet got separated when they first fell, with Ingo getting picked up by Pearl Clan and Lady Sneasler dragging Emmet around for about a week until Ingo woke up in a cold sweat realizing there was something he left on Mt.Coronet(at the time not realizing it was his brother).

Irida went with Ingo till they stumbled upon eachother. Irida thought he was a fucked up Zorua or something until the twins started circling eachother like really excited dogs and realized oh. okay never mind there's just another one now.

since Emmet had such a swell time with Lady Snealser and she quickly takes a liking to Ingo as well, Irida finds it easy enough to appoint them as her wardens when they get acclimated, probably the weirdest ones in the history of the clans.

they both are missing their memories; when they first stumbled upon eachother they were sputtering trying to say eachother's names they gave up and went "YOU!!! I KNOW YOU!!!!". Emmet ended up introducing himself first when he caught Irida saying Ingo's name. and got excited that he had it again.

anyways been sick and playing pkmn sword, and Klinklang + Crustle have been absolutely carrying my playthrough so it was a perfect excuse to draw them in my color pallet update
