Daily check in – Day 67!!

Workouts:
30 minutes Day 2 of Iron series by caroline girvan🧸
Steps: 20 034
Eating (no carb day):
breakfast - yogurt bowl with chia seeds, pecan nuts, an orange and some coconut flakes + ginger tea
lunch - a cucumber, some chicken soup, cottage cheese with hazelnuts, some pistachios
dinner - a cucumber, a chicken breast with ketchup, a lot of coconut and some vanilla protein yogurt for dessert!!
Water intake: 2 liters
Sleep: almost 8 hours
Studying:
spent 6 hours on forestttt!!
revised some french for the national competition tomorrow !!
read 85 pages (and finished my book:3)
finished my math homework
finished my eng tutoring homework
did my english hw for school too
Screen time: really low
Self care:
Linda Sun all day long <33
used some hyaluronic acid + ate clean for my skin
turmeric face mask + hot ginger tea + soft music + lit candles
Emotion log:
Well my meals sound so much better on paper and I'm glad about it but I have been missing my carbs, chocolate and dessert after every single meal a lot too
Thoughts for tomorrow:
The french national competition is tomorrow and I'm lowkey representing my school so I'm pretty anxious!!!!!

10 of my favorite easy glow up tips! 𐙚 ‧₊˚ ⋅

get a gua sha!! not expensive at all and made such a difference in my face shape and carving out my cheek bones and jawline. there’s lots of good tutorials on tiktok or youtube!
tea in the morning/night! there’s so many teas to help with different things but my favorite’s are spearmint tea for clearing skin and green tea for reducing bloating.
ice your face! helps SO much with de-puffing and closing up your pores! dipping your face in a bowl with ice water can reduce inflammation, help with acne and reduce oily skin!
make sure to get enough sleep! It’s so easy to stay up scrolling on tumblr until the sun comes up but getting enough sleep is so important mentally and physically!
find a skincare routine that works for you and remember too much skincare can be bad for your skin! my skin was breaking out the worst when i was using a bunch of skincare and It’s cleared so much since i simplified my routine.
use a lash/brow serum! my favorite brand is grande lash and it’s a little pricey but using castor oil works as well and it’s super affordable.
going on walks! I’ve never been a fan of intense exercises and I’m a chronic bed rotter but putting on my favorite hot girl playlist and strutting on the treadmill/sidewalk is genuinely so fun!
rosemary oil for hair growth! my holy grail of hair growth products along with a scalp massager. my whole life my hair grew so slow and since using rosemary oil i have to trim my bangs twice a month sometimes!
i cannot stress this one enough..wear what YOU want! don’t let new trends or judgment from others stop you from embracing your true style. we look our best when we feel most confident!
most importantly ~ take care of yourself! make sure you’re eating enough, drinking water, listening to your body and being gentle with yourself always. improving ourselves can be so fun but make sure it’s not at the expense of your mental health <3

STAYING IN 2024: holding back, waiting for a special occasion to dress up, accusing anything fun and silly and harmless of being "cringe", debating ideology with irrelevant people, being a couch potato, immediate reactions, just reading headlines, worrying about wrinkles, Twitter, food substitutes, true crime exploitation, aesthetic journaling.
COMING TO 2025: more outdoor walks, being willingly ignorant of things that don't concern me, turning off devices, cooking in the oven, studying about and being smarter with finances, face-to-face conversations, loyalty to local shops, not complaining, supporting immigrants, complex carbohydrates, learning about the native fauna and flora, public transport, temporary tattoos, discovering a signature homemade masala, citric perfumes, being radically private, classical music.

went ice skating with my best friend!!!!🧸⛸️🤍
walked tons, can't even remember when tbh
Steps: 26 437
Eating:
breakfast - a carrot, a grilled sandwich<33, leftover pancakes with yogurt, 4 brazil nuts, ½ chocolate protein mousse
lunch - some salad, chicken with mashed potatoes + lowkey demolished 2 rows of chocolate, 3 choc cookies, some brownie and a choc protein bar (it was worth it tho and I missed sugar so I'm not that upset about it)
dinner - went to Mc with my friend and got a mcchicken, some fries, a chocolate croissant and an oreo caramel mcflurry :33!!!
Water intake: almost 2 liters
Sleep: 8 hours!!
Studying:
spent 3.5 hours on forest!!
read 70 pages first thing in the morning
did some english tutoring homework
did some math homework as well!!
Screen time: low!!
Self care:
turmeric and ginger homemade face mask while reading ₊˚⊹ᰔ
Didn't really beat myself up for not eating right, even though I'm cutting sugar atm and should have stsrted lowering my carbs, I can just start again tomorrow
I think it's understandable that I binged and I didn't even expect anything else, can't wait for picture day to be over so I can just eat whatever I want again !!
Emotion log:
Ice skating was so fun, and I was able to truly enjoy all the food I had today (maybe enjoyed a bit too much hahah) almost guilt-free!!!
I might have ACCIDENTALLY burned like 1050 c@ls but I swear I didn't mean to do thatttt
Thoughts for tomorrow:
Yeah so the hell starts tomorrow, no carbs, sugar OR salt so I'll live off of greek yogurt, chicken and avocado and be really sad and tired!!! (just for a short while tho dw)
