things confident people do, part 1
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
πœ—πœš ΰ£ͺΛ– Φ΄π™š 1) when someone compliments them, they say thank you.
WOAH mind-boggling right! they don't self depreciate themselves by going "no no im so ugly" or whatever, but they don't say something like "yeah i know." either. show your gratitude, but don't let it get to your brain.
πœ—πœš ΰ£ͺΛ– Φ΄π™š 2) take care of themselves.
they make sure to show themselves just as much love as they show everyone else because they know they deserve it just as much as anyone else.
πœ—πœš ΰ£ͺΛ– Φ΄π™š 3) they show up for themselves.
when they say something, they do it. when they want something, they work to get it. when you feel sad and hurt, you yourself should be the first person to come and support yourself.
πœ—πœš ΰ£ͺΛ– Φ΄π™š 4) they walk and sit with good posture
confident people know that they don't shouldn't have to make themselves invisible for anyone. it may be scary at first to be walking around looking straight instead of hunched over, but just btw u look rly lame being hunched over. stand up girl.
πœ—πœš ΰ£ͺΛ– Φ΄π™š 5) they take up space
because they know they are allowed to. they know they deserve it. why would they try to become smaller? for who are you doing that for? literally no one cares and it just looks pathetic. take up space honey, you're allowed to.
Tumblr media Tumblr media

πœ—πœš ΰ£ͺΛ– Φ΄π™š 6) you like what you see in the mirror
when i look in the mirror, no matter how i look- whether im sweating and crusty musty dusty or even all glammed up- i always love myself. why? because i know that i am not what i look like. i know i am beautiful, but that is not the only admirable thing about me!
πœ—πœš ΰ£ͺΛ– Φ΄π™š 7) do what scares the crap out of u!!
or basically, step outside your comfort zone. do things that the previous you wouldn't even think of doing, and do it proudly, and do it alone! (me for example, recently i did the most scariest thing ever that i was dreading the entire day and when i did oh my god i was so proud of myself!! esp since i did it alone as well!)
πœ—πœš ΰ£ͺΛ– Φ΄π™š 8) is not scared of being alone.
who cares? literally who cares? confident people know that no one cares. people look at you because they may be curious or just looking around, but then you don't stay in their mind all day, okay? other people couldn't care less and neither should u!

GLOW UP GUIDE FOR 2025β €
Tumblr media
READ: On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic β€” 66 days to be exact. And considering that 2025 is precisely these many days away, why not start with our glow up plan already?
Tumblr media
Physical Glow Up-
BODY
β€” 5-10K steps a day.
β€” 7-8 hours of sleep.
β€” workout everyday for 1 hr atleast- yoga/stretching/pilates/cardio/lifting weights. a workout may take one hour, but your mood will be boosted for the next 12 hours.
β€” posture training.
β€” sunlight exposure after waking up for at least 10 minutes.
NUTRITION
β€” 2-3 liters of water every day.
β€” limit your caffeine intake.
β€” avoid sugars as much as you can.
β€” high protein diet, pre and probiotics.
β€” more fruits and veggies (+ green smoothies if you like).
β€” no junk/processed food/trans fat.
β€” no eating after 8 pm.
SKINCARE
β€” be clear on your skin type (oily, dry, combination, sensitive).
β€” once you're clear, use these accordingly- cleanser, toner, targeted serum, eye cream, moisturizer, sunscreen (β‰₯50 spf).
β€” keep your bedding clean as well.
β€” no picking of skin on your lips, cuticle etc.
β€” gua sha to help improve blood circulation and lessen toxins.
β€” cold therapy may take three to five minutes of being uncomfortable, but your energy levels will be boosted for the rest of the day.
β€” remove makeup before you go to bed.
BODY CARE
β€” shower every day.
β€” exfoliate 2x a week.
β€” use body lotion (shea butter/aloe vera gel/coconut oil).
HAIR CARE
β€” wash hair 2-3x a week
β€” oil your scalp 2x a week, at least 3 hours before shampoo.
β€” hair mask 1x per week.
β€” never brush wet hair.
β€” use silk pillow case.
HYGIENE
β€” brush your teeth 2x a day, clean tongue and the roof of the mouth daily.
β€” floss daily.
β€” cut your nails 1x a week, never remove the cuticles.
β€” glycolic acid under arm for odor and discoloration.
β€” never use soap on your coochie.
Tumblr media
Mental Glow Up-
MINDSET
β€” set clear goals- define and breakdown your aspirations.
β€” start your mornings with positive affirmations.
β€” surround yourself with uplifting content and people.
β€” be shamelessly selfish to your career and mental health, remove anyone or anything that doesn't align with your priorities and wellbeing.
β€” boost your brain health by these 4 neuroscience tools:
difficult first: start your day with the most difficult task (cortisol and dopamine are high in the body meaning that your body/mind is primed to work).
rest your eyes: introduce a micro-pause after learning by resting/closing your eyes - will help retain information better.
tomorrow's worries: write tomorrow's to-do list before bed as it is proven to be effective in helping you fall asleep.
find time to play: engage in low-stake play. can be anything you find fun but where the outcome doesn't matter (induces neuroplasticity + reduces stress).
MIND
β€” meditation might take as low as ten minutes, but your focus will be improved for the rest of the day.
β€” no social media after waking up and at least an hour before bed.
β€” keep aside 1 hr of time to read daily! reading a new book may take five hours, but you will keep the knowledge forever.
β€” journaling, gratitude.
β€” digital detox once a week or for 12 hours.
β€” limit unnecessary screentime, unfollow or cut off people you don't want to see.
JOURNALING
β€” choose a regular time each day to journal, making it a part of your routine.
β€” find a quiet, comfortable place free from distractions. light a candle if you want.
β€” allow your thoughts to flow without censoring or editing.
β€” write about your feelings and emotions to understand them better. write about things you are thankful for to boost your mood. write about your short-term and long-term goals. identify what triggers certain emotions or reactions
β€” set a timer for 5-10 minutes and write continuously during that time.
β€” reflect on both positive experiences and challenges.
β€” make lists, journal your thoughts on these questions.
β€” journal at night to clear your mind before bedtime, because emotions and thoughts lose their power once we acknowledge them.
β€” a gratitude practice may take five minutes, but your mindset will be shifted for the rest of the day.
AFFIRMATIONS
β€” customise affirmations to your needs.
Tumblr media
Personal Life-
WEEKLY TASKS
β€” initiate small changes: begin with small, manageable tasks such as making your bed or cleaning your room every sunday.
β€” celebrate your success: reward yourself when you achieve your goals or have a consistently productive week. consider treats like buying flowers for yourself or watching your favorite show.
DAILY WORK
β€” set achievable goals: establish realistic goals for the day, week, or month ahead.
β€” track your progress.
β€” organise your work space, declutter your shelves etc.
β€” embrace the power of lists: keep a list of tasks to be done and their deadlines. this way, you start each day with a clear plan. to make it visually appealing and motivating, consider using productivity apps like evernote, habit tracker, or notion.
PRODUCTIVITY TIPS
β€” wake up early.
β€” plan ahead everything, do scheduling. you can use:
google calendar / notion / tasks .
β€” if the task takes less than 2 minutes to finish, do it immediately.
β€” countdown rule, if you are procrastinating, count 1-2-3-4-5 and jump.
β€” start slow, don't rush and try to do everything at one time.
β€” follow a proper routine, use app locks based on screentime.
β€” pomodoro technique, 25 min work, and 5 min break.
β€” schedule longer break times as well e.g 30 min nap.

the secret to living a calm and confident life lies in being organised and prepared. when you are always scrambling, searching, stumbling, you create an energy of chaos. part of respecting yourself is adequately preparing yourself for what lies ahead, through organisation and practise.

Traits I’ve Noticed in Confident PeopleΒ
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Disciplined - if a target is set, it is achievedΒ
Speaking - Can speak multiple languages. Can express thoughts clearly even if vocabulary is limited. The listener understands their point.Β
Strong extroversion socially - can approach and talk to new people with ease, but also make them feel comfortable. Good at following up, asking questions and inserting little stories about themselves without exposing too muchΒ
Strong general knowledge / industry knowledge. They know what they’re talking aboutΒ
Hard to please but not arrogant about it. They won’t readily accept a fact or opinion, even if the majority agrees - they’ll debate with it, think over it, play the devil’s advocate
Good posture
Strong set of principles and self control. There’s no shame in wanting to say, help someone, choose not to drink socially, buy a coffee for a poor person on the street; they don’t hesitate to do good deedsΒ
Hygienic. Clean, groomed, well dressed, well maintained.Β
Observant and proactive at the same time. Can pick up on body language relatively easily - can sense discomfort or unease in someone and do something about it.Β
Have a strong sense of self identity. Can be opinionated but open to challenges.Β

RECLAIMING DISCIPLINE CAN LOOK LIKE:
β€’ keeping small + manageable promises to yourself daily

β€’ reframing pain + difficulty as often where the growth happens

Get over the fear of being seen.
Stop caring about how you’re gonna be perceived. Stop doubting yourself. Stop aiming to be perfect. Stop ruminating.
Accept who you are. Hype yourself. Invest in yourself. Be audacious. Trust in the greater outcome. Allow yourself to be seen as you are.

2025 : #1 be disciplined
Tumblr media
[ the 2025 glow up serie ? Click here !]
Motivation feels amazing, doesn’t it? It’s like a sparkβ€”a burst of energy that pushes you forward. But what happens when the spark fades? That’s where discipline steps in. It’s the routine you build, the habits you cultivate, and the consistency you stick to even on days you don’t feel like it.
So, instead of waiting to feel ready, discipline says, β€˜Let’s go, regardless.’ It’s the engine that turns dreams into reality.
"Ask urself right now: What’s one thing I can commit to daily in 2025? Write it down. Small steps lead to giant leaps."
1.Building Your Disciplined
How do u stay disciplined? Start with these three small steps:
βœ’οΈ.Growth is not supposed to feel good. You’re going to hate it. You’ll feel like quitting more times than you can count. That’s normal. Growth is built in the moments where you want to give up but don’t.
1. Create Clear Goals: Be specific. Instead of saying, β€˜I’ll study more,’ say, β€˜I’ll study history for 30 minutes every evening.’ BUY A SMALL NOTEBOOK AND WRITE ALL UR GOALS WITH SMALLER ONE TO BE MORE PRODUCTIVE
2. Track Progress: Whether it’s journaling or using an app, tracking helps you stay accountable.
3.Master Your Mindset: Stop waiting to "feel motivated." Understand that motivation is fleeting, but discipline is reliable. Every time your brain tells you to quit, remind yourself: your emotions don’t run the showβ€”your goals do.
2.Excuses Are Lies
Excuses are lies you’ve sold yourself to stay comfortable. 'I’m too tired.' Lie. 'I don’t have time.' Lie. 'I’m just not motivated.' Biggest lie of all.
Here’s the truth: You’re scared. Scared of failure, scared of discomfort, scared of how much effort it takes to change. But let me tell you something: Fear is temporary. Regret is forever. Which one do you want to live with?
No more excuses. You don’t need more time. You need more discipline. You don’t need motivation. You need action. Stop talking about what you want and start doing the work to get it. Right now.
3.look at yourself in the mirror
Look yourself in the mirror tonight and ask: Am I proud of the choices I made today? If the answer is no, fix it tomorrow. And if the answer is still no, fix it the next day. Don’t let yourself off the hook.
2025 isn’t your year unless you make it your year. Stop expecting change to happen to you. You are the change. Get out of your head, get off the couch, and get to work. The only thing standing between you and the life you want is your own laziness. Crush it.
4.Action Plan for a Disciplined Life
Stop acting like you’re doing enough when you know you’re not. If you want that dream college, that perfect GPA, or that career you keep fantasizing about, you need to stop wasting time and follow a real plan. Get up the second your alarm goes offβ€”no snooze, no excuses. Tackle the hardest, most uncomfortable task first thing in the morning because procrastination is for quitters. Create a non-negotiable schedule and stick to it like your life depends on it, because it does. Eliminate every distraction: delete the apps, unfollow the nonsense, and stop treating your phone like your best friend. Hold yourself accountableβ€”write down your progress every day. If you didn’t do anything to move forward, face the fact that you’re the problem. Plan your next day before you sleep, so you wake up ready to win, not wander. And for the love of everything you want in life, stop choosing comfort over progress. Your excuses won’t get you that GPA, that acceptance letter, or that dream jobβ€”but discipline will.
breaking this into chunks
1. Kill the Snooze Button: Get out of bed the moment your alarm goes off. No "just 5 more minutes." Those 5 minutes are the difference between starting strong and losing the day.
2. Start With the Hard Stuff: Tackle your most challenging task first thing in the day. Procrastination is your enemyβ€”eat the frog and move on.
3. Create a Non-Negotiable Schedule: Block out specific times for studying, working out, or any critical task. Treat these blocks like appointments with your future selfβ€”don’t cancel.
4. Cut Out Time-Wasters: Delete apps you waste time on. Unfollow distractions. If you spend hours scrolling or binge-watching, you’re digging your own grave.
5. Build Accountability: Tell someone your goals and have them call you out when you slack. Better yet, make it publicβ€”you’ll hate embarrassing yourself in front of others.
6. Track Progress Daily: Write down everything you’ve done that day to move closer to your goals. If you haven’t done anything, face the hard truth: you’re slacking.
7. Plan Tomorrow Tonight: Before you go to bed, write out your next day’s schedule. If you wake up without a plan, you’ve already lost.
8. Say No to Comfort: Skip the cozy excuses. If it’s not pushing you closer to your goals, it’s holding you back.
Discipline is the foundation of every success story. It’s not about luck, talent, or fleeting motivationβ€”it’s about showing up, doing the hard work, and making the right choices every single day. If you want to achieve your dreams, you need to stop waiting for the perfect moment and start building habits that get you closer to your goals. Cut the excuses, own your failures, and take control of your life. The road to greatness isn’t easy, but every sacrifice, every uncomfortable moment, and every disciplined action will take you one step closer to the future you deserve. You either make it happen, or you watch someone else do it. The choice is yours. The clock is not waiting for u !
