an angels guide: sunday reset routine
hi angels! at the end of a busy and long week you need to prioritise taking care of yourself, your mental health and your space. i like to save sundays to be a ‘me’ day, a day where i indulge in self care, cleaning and preparing myself peacefully for a busy week ahead. resetting your space and self can be an intensive routine (think thirty minute youtube videos of someone deep cleaning their house) or just simple and short (having an early night). this is my more aspirational reset routine, on an ideal sunday i will do all of this but some days i may negotiate and do a little less. hopefully this post inspires you to take care of yourself and your space.

space ˚₊‧꒰ა ꣑ৎ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
open your windows, let air circulate.
wash bedding, pillowcases, towels and any face cloths.
light candles or incense to make your space smell good.
polish any mirrors and windows.
declutter surfaces or desks (put everything away and back into its place).
fold clothes and ensure wardrobe/drawers/clothes storage spaces are tidy.
wipe down surfaces.
clean any hair brushes, makeup brushes etc.
throw away any rubbish from bins or around you.
plan meals for the week ahead. look at what is in your fridge or cupboards and clear anything expired.
play calming playlist or playlist themed around the atmosphere you want to create in your space.
water any plants.
get new flowers/rid of old flowers.
plump any pillows, refold blankets and make your space cozy and safe feeling.
body ˚₊‧꒰ა ꣑ৎ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
apply hair oils + hair mask and leave to soak in for the day.
do yoga/stretching in the morning.
drink a glass of water first thing.
eat nutritious meals that will allow your body to feel good.
go on a walk or exercise.
have bath/shower.
do full body exfoliation - scrub off dirt and grime from past week.
shave (if you shave your body hair).
apply deep, cleansing body washes and give self a massage of sorts.
drink tea/matcha.
clean teeth, floss, mouthwash and oil pull twice.
apply body oils, body lotions/creams.
finish day doing light stretching/yoga.
face ˚₊‧꒰ა ꣑ৎ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
do full am and pm skincare routines.
ice face.
do gua sha routine.
apply a face mask.
tweeze/tidy eyebrows if that is a preference.
use a lip scrub or exfoliator.
gently facially exfoliate.
give self brief facial massage.
apply any spot treatments or specialised skincare.
mind ˚₊‧꒰ა ꣑ৎ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚
meditate in the morning.
journal and plan week ahead.
read at least one chapter of a book.
watch a comforting/relaxing show.
ensure all school work or anything similar is complete or at a point where it needs to be.
do something for yourself (paint your nails, colour, make something, bake etc).
plan ways to stay on top of any goals set.
set weekly goals and targets.
have an early night.
be off devices by eight if possible.
spend time with a family member or friend.
spend some time outdoors.
drink plenty of water.

showers are the best way to relax and pamper yourself, but i’ve found that treating your shower as some kind of meditation method/ritual really helps to relieve any unwanted stress that’s been weighing down on you! it allows you to fully clear your mind and cleanse yourself both physically and mentally!
let’s begin !!
ᝰ.ᐟ visualize
create an image in your mind that shows all the stress washing away from mind, body, heart, and soul. make sure that mental image is clear to really manifest all that’s weighing you down getting washed away from you and going down the drain.
think about it when you wash your hair! i saw a post here on tumblr that said something along the lines of “scrubbing away the dirt and oils from your scalp is like scrubbing away all that’s weighing on your mind”. so just imagine while you wash your hair that all the anxiety, stress, or even doubts that are clouding your thoughts being lifted from your brain and out of your head through your scalp and as you go to rinse out your shampoo, all those worries and negative thoughts are flowing away from your mind
you can use this same method while washing your body as well!
ᝰ.ᐟ say your affirmations
speaking to yourself out loud helps to really lock in those positive thoughts and good vibes! affirm yourself over and over the affirmations you want to hear.
“i am washing away all the doubts, anxiety, and stress”
“i’m cleansing myself from all my worries”
“i am nourishing my mind, heart, body, and soul with good, positive, healing, and calm energy”
ᝰ.ᐟ give each step an affirmation/manifestation
as you pump or squeeze shampoo onto your hands, say an affirmation or a manifestation. this allows you to feel like each product with that affirmation is physically going into your body.
each pump of shampoo i put into my hand i’ll say something like: “i am capable”, “i have overcome my worries and fears”, “i am enough”, etc.
ᝰ.ᐟ take deep, calming breaths
whether it’s before, during, or after your shower, remember to take those deep breaths. relaxing breaths eases your mind because it forces you to focus on your breathing, letting your mind take a break from any worrisome thoughts that might have taken over. you can even find a good breathing exercise to follow!

showers are the best times to get some “me-time”, and you should make the most of it! whether it’s to prepare yourself for the day or you’re unwinding from a long day, taking a meditative shower will help clear and ease your mind and body!

body/overall health 101:
on a budget: youtube videos are your best friend. pilates and yoga will always be my faves. and all you need is a mat and a video that fits your experience level.
don’t focus on what you want to change about your body. keeping that in mind is fine, but you should be putting more thought into the strength you want to gain, improving flexibility and becoming more comfortable in your own body.
watch what you put in your body. fast food is fine, but only occasionally. skipping a meal is fine, but only occasionally. its all about finding healthy meals that will keep you energised and full for as long as possible.
⭐️ving yourself is the worst thing you can do in the long run. you’ll lose weight, sure, but no one can avoid the horrifying side effects. i have so much empathy for you if this is something you’re doing, but please, it’s not worth it. trust me, this is something i’ve learned the hard way.
10’000 steps is a good goal to have. whenever possible, walk instead of driving, within reason, of course.

Now your mind is clearer, so how do you set new goals for this year? Write minimum 3 big goals that you want to accomplish, example: hit the gym, travel, get my money up, this will be the themes you'll be actively work in 2025, then make categories like: health, social, professional. Then make smaller general goals for the whole year for each of the categories, during the year each month you'll set monthly, weekly and daily goals, to keep track.

Your goals are nothing without you! One thing that I learned this year is that everything happens for a reason, if you end with a certain result, understand that you played a part in it, the rest just unfolded, so take things in your hands and direct your wishes towards the optimal ending.

— a step by step guide by yours truly ♥

disclaimer!! for some people it can take a lot longer to love themselves than others, so don't be discouraged if it takes a bit longer. just remember that no matter what you think, you ARE WORTHY OF LOVE.

step 1: identifying the root cause
first you need to find WHY you dont love yourself. it usually comes down to these main reasons:
society
your looks
comparison
your abilities
childhood trauma
your current situations
it can be just one or more than one, and sometimes it may not be as simple as "my looks", sometimes you may have to dig deeper.
for me, it was because i thought i was "ugly"

step 2: once you know the WHY, research about the topic and try and solve it.
here ive broken down the 6 reasons to help you a bit: (but remember that this is just a small break down, if you want you can research more about the topic & try to battle it)
society: society has tricked us into believing that loving yourself is considered 'vain' or 'narcissistic'. let me tell you right now that THAT IS NOT TRUE. loving yourself is a basic necessity that everyone should have!!
your looks: this is something i struggled with for a loong time. remember that beauty is subjective!! bob could think that travis looks 'average' but Leo could think that travis looks absolutely gorgeous!! ☆ so how did i overcome this? i actually 'glowed up'. bc the main thing i didnt like was face- my teeth to be specific. so once i got braces, my teeth aligned and i started looking so much better. ☆ other struggles: ↴ for you if it may be acne, then you could start trying to take care of your skin better. or if its body image then if you reeeeally dont like it then literally just start working out. if you have the option to yet you still dont then dont complain. but remember that ALL BODIES ARE PERFECT. ★ another thing that helped me a lot was affirmations! i listened to a bunch of affirmations -> i used this video by thewizardliz and it did wonders! (you can also search up on yt self-love/ beauty affirmations)
comparison: for most people comparison comes from social media right? the simple solution to this would be unfollow accounts that dont serve you, or delete/ set a time limit on the social media platform "but what if i compare myself to people i meet in real life?" well we can't exactly unfollow or delete these people but what we can do is turn that jealousy (yes, jealousy) into inspiration! be inspired by the people with greater lives and use that to pull yourself forward! ☆ a quote that i read once (that may or may not help you) : "do not compare your chapter 1 to someone else's chapter 50." you never know what the other person has gone through or is going through that got them to this point!
your abilities: okay theres not much i can say here except that you can learn almost everything online nowadays. stop complaining and get off your lazy butt to prove to yourself just how much potential you have! (but don't beat yourself up for being a lazy butt, im one as well) here is a link to a TON of stuff you can learn online!
childhood trauma: this is a bit of a more delicate subject which i do not know a lot on, my best suggestion would be to just go to therapy (or use an online therapy app- betterhelp). - watching thewizardliz may help as well as she might know more about the topic.
your current situation: whether its trouble with friends, at school, at work, or with family i promise you that these things do not last forever. humans were not put on earth to be unhappy and miserable! (whats the point in that?) my advice is to learn more about the topic (for ex i was struggling with being left out w friends for a while and it did hurt a bit) and see what you can do to fix it or at least make the best out of it. + another reminder that you can use the law of assumption- in basic words the law states that whatever you desire, you have. all you need to do is accept that. heres a quote i read: "if you dont like where you are,, then move. you aint a tree." this is literally YOUR life. RESPECT yourself and dont let people treat you bad because that is disrespecting yourself!

step 3: focus on yourself!!
my favourite step!!
this is your sign to stop focussing on others' lives and start focussing on your own.
when you start to focus on yourself, up level yourself and try to become your best version of yourself, you actually end up falling in love with that version of yourself, and your current version!
ask yourself: is there even something to love?
ask yourself: would you want to date or be friends with someone like you? think actually deep about this; if your answer is no, then that obviously means that there is some work to do.
if you're constantly negative and complaining and rude all the time, trust me, literally no ones gonna want to hang out with you. and then you'll adopt that 'victim mindset' of "nobody likes me and i suck". instead of doing that, why dont you try to just suck a bit less? there isn't any pressure on you to become amazing the next day, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't try.
small things/habits to start:
gratitude
hydration
exercising
journalling
meditation
eating healthy
developing a skill
get enough sleep
take cold showers
taking care of your skin
invest in your appearance
focussing on school/ your grades
go outside! go for walks, be in nature!

friendly reminder that you can block anyone who bothers you, every single person whose texts make you feel bad or anxious. you have to be the one who sets boundaries. you have to take care of your own peace. stop feeling bad. if you can't manage your online relationships, what makes you think you'll be able to manage your offline ones?? so yes, block those girls who are always asking you about homework, block the kid who's always swearing in their texts. if you don't like them, why are you letting them disturb you? take from them the privilege of your attention. that's the most that you can do - that will make them suffer. seeing you happy, not caring about them is greatest form of saying "f8ck off" to your enemy/competitor/that assh0le who is trying to pick a fight all the time.
(just random thoughts I had while I was actually blocking someone - a girl who's also supposed to be at the top of her class but doesn't know what her homework is so texts me all the time to ask and doesn't even say 'thank you' properly)

Productive morning Routine
Now you are ready to have a productive way. I know it’s hard not to scroll on social media in the morning but it’s the worst way to start your day and if you do then at least watch some productive content that will motivate you. I love drinking apple cider vinegar as soon as I wake up it energises you and has so many health benefits. I also love matcha with oat milk over coffee, habe noticed so many differences and I have way more energy throughout the day. Why Being "Low Maintenance" Is Actually Self-Abandonment

Have you ever caught yourself saying "I'm just low maintenance" and feeling weirdly proud about it? Let's talk about what's really hiding behind that seemingly innocent phrase.
Being "low maintenance" often means we're actually abandoning ourselves in small ways every single day. We're not actually "chill", we're just really good at ignoring our own needs.
Think about it: When was the last time you…
Said "I'm fine with whatever" when you actually have a strong preference about where to eat
Stayed quiet about something that hurt you because you didn't want to "cause drama"?
Accepted the bare minimum effort because you're afraid of being called "demanding"
Praised yourself for "not being needy" when you're actually just suppressing your real needs.
The scary part? Society LOVES a "low maintenance" woman. Movies, TV shows, and social media constantly feed us this idea of the "cool girl" who never complains, never has needs, and is always up for anything. We're taught that taking up less space and being eternally agreeable makes us more lovable. But let's be real, would you want your best friend to silence her needs just to seem "easy-going"? Would you want your future daughter to shrink herself to appear more attractive to others?
I didn't think so.
Here's what being "low maintenance" actually costs you: Your authentic voice gets quieter. Your ability to form genuine connections suffers (because how can people truly know you if you never express what you want?). Your self-trust erodes because you've gotten so good at ignoring your inner wisdom.
Having needs doesn't make you high maintenance, it makes you human. Setting boundaries isn't demanding, it's healthy. Speaking up about your feelings isn't dramatic, it's brave.
So how do we start shifting away from this pattern? It doesn't have to be huge, dramatic changes. Start with tiny steps that feel manageable:
Next time you're asked where you'd like to eat, pause for a moment. Check in with yourself. What sounds good to you? Maybe you don't need to immediately jump to "oh, anywhere is fine!" Give yourself permission to have a preference.
Try keeping a little notes app diary of moments when you notice yourself automatically saying "it's fine" or "whatever you want." No judgment, just notice the pattern. Sometimes awareness is the first step to change.
When you're with trusted friends, practice expressing small preferences. Maybe it's about what movie to watch or what time to meet up. Notice how it feels in your body when you actually say what you want. Notice if the world keeps spinning (spoiler: it usually does).
Instead of "low maintenance," how about we start calling ourselves "self-aware"? Instead of "easy-going," how about "authentic"? Instead of "not needy," how about "clear about my needs"?
Remember, the right people in your life won't want you to be low maintenance. They'll want you to be authentic. They'll appreciate knowing your true preferences and respect your boundaries. And anyone who makes you feel bad about having normal human needs isn't someone who deserves your energy.
Your needs matter. Your voice matters. Your preferences matter. And learning to honor them isn't just okay, it's essential for building a life that actually feels like yours.

everyone always talks about their “new year’s resolutions” but never really follows through with them. instead of creating those resolutions, practice new routines & lifestyle changes while going into the new year!
let’s begin !!
ᝰ.ᐟ set small goals
while having bigger goals set for yourself is great, you should still set smaller goals for yourself that can be achieved in an easier manner! keeping your goals simple can lead to greater and bigger successes while still leading you on the path to complete those bigger goals for yourself or just put you on a better path for your own personal growth!
small goal examples:
practicing good, proper hygiene! making sure you brush your teeth everyday, being consistent with your skincare routine, taking daily showers, etc. taking good care of yourself can be a great small goal to set for yourself! especially for those who struggle with their mental health (like myself), practicing these simple tasks and creating goals out of them makes you feel more accomplished! & with more accomplishments, the better you might start to feel!
making your bed every morning! getting into this simple habit can help you feel more put together & prepared for your day! i honestly struggle with this one because i’m always so busy, but the times i have been more consistent with this have always led to me having better & more productive days!
increase your water intake! staying hydrated is so, so important! plus!! water has a plethora of benefits! what helped me start drinking more water than other fluids was by simply getting a cute, new water bottle for myself. having something that i thought was super cute to drink out of helped me drink more water!
cooking more! honing your own cooking skills & also spending less money on outside food is a great small goal to set for yourself! you can always start small by picking one meal out of your day to cook for yourself whether that be breakfast, lunch, or dinner! try choosing one of those meal times to dedicate to cooking at home and then you can gradually start cooking more of those meals personally!
journal at least once a day/week! whether you find a good journaling prompt or if you’re reflecting on how your day/week went, journaling more is a fantastic way to go into the new year and bring that with you as the year progresses! it helps you practice mindfulness, regulate/process/comprehend your emotions & thoughts, and can also even help with just your own writing skills!
getting 7-8 hours of sleep! setting up a good sleep schedule for yourself & practicing going to bed earlier was one of the goals i had set for myself this year actually! it’s helped me so much because i used to struggle with insomnia like really, really bad, but ever since i set that goal for myself to get at least 7 hours of sleep, my sleep schedule has greatly improved and now my body is so used to going to bed at an earlier time! sleep is so important for your physical and mental health, so do try to set that goal for yourself!
ᝰ.ᐟ be more active
you don’t have to jump right into the gym or immediately come up with some kind of workout schedule, but just simply getting your body moving more will be enough to jumpstart becoming more active! go on walks, play just dance or dance to your fav songs, do some simple yoga, get those morning stretches in, or (if you can & the weather permits it) walk to school/work!
ᝰ.ᐟ lessen your screen time
this is something i’ve gotta work on myself, but lessening your screen time & being more focused on the present and being in the present can be so fulfilling. if i’m ever out on a date with my fiancé or hanging out with friends, i try to keep my phone in my bag or pocket so that i can really be immersed in the moment. also just finding more hobbies and things to do that don’t involve your phone can really help to romanticize your own life if that’s what you wanna do! go outside, spend time with your family/loved ones, work on art, make music— do something that makes you happy but doesn’t involve your phone.
social media especially can have such an impact on your life, more negatively than you may think. if you want to be on your phone to chat with friends or listen to music, try disconnecting from your socials! free yourself from the toxicity that social media might bring you and i promise you’ll see a change! i recently deleted my twitter account & i’ve been avoiding doom scrolling on tiktok, and i seriously mean it when i say this: i’ve been so much happier!
ᝰ.ᐟ dedicate more time to your studies
this is for anyone who’s currently still in school (whether that be high school or college), but putting more time into your education will be putting so much more effort into your own future! being able to have the opportunity to be educated is a privilege, and if you’re lucky enough to be able to attend school (and even afford it), focus more of your time to your studies! success starts in school!
also, if you aren’t in school but you’re maybe learning a new language, learning a new art form, teaching yourself a new skill; spend more time honing those things and focusing on getting better at them! teaching yourself something new or learning something different than what you already know just makes the mind stronger!
side note: don’t push yourself too hard when it comes to your studies. remember to take breaks! i had to take a couple gap years from college because i was burnt out, and if you feel like you need to take a semester off or even a gap year, do it! school will always be there when you’re ready to go back! your own mental and emotional well-being always comes first!
ᝰ.ᐟ learn to let go
there’s so many things from this year that have probably held you back from so many different things. whether it was a toxic friendship/relationship, unhealthy social media trends that kept you from being you, habits that probably impacted your health; learn to them go. leave them behind in 2024, don’t start the new year with things or people who have kept you from being happy. learn to never let anyone or anything disrupt your peace!
i’ve cut off toxic friends this year and, as i mentioned earlier, i spent less time on & even deleted social media that i felt was hurting my own well-being, and let me tell you, i’ve been happier! it’s so freeing to finally let go of things that have been holding you back from your potential to be the person you want to be. you’re allowed to live how you want, but that can’t happen if you hold onto things and people who keep you from doing so!
ᝰ.ᐟ start planning
this is something i’ve been practicing getting into the habit of! having some kind of planner (whether it’s a physical planner or a digital one) will just help you feel more organized! especially if you’re in school or your job requires a lot of deadlines to be met or even if you just want to keep track of important dates, keeping a planner and actually using it will not only keep you up to date, but also help with your time management and help you prepare for the day, week, or month ahead!

let 2025 be your year! you can achieve great things even if you start small, but you can’t be your best when you aren’t doing the best for yourself! be kind to yourself, be patient with yourself, and always show yourself love and care. if you want to be a newer, better version of you, it’s all gotta start with learning to care for yourself how you want to be cared for!

studying:
listen in class: more than your study method, this is what really will help determine your grades. if you listen in class, your studying before an exam will be revising what you’ve already heard and what you already know. if you don’t listen in class, your studying before an exam will be a lot longer and more difficult, since you will actively be learning new information.
find a study method: this heavily depends on the person. the study method that works the best for you will be one that minimises the time spent studying, but doesn’t compromise on the results. think what helps you learn easier and find a method that takes advantage of the way you learn things easiest. do you walk around the room reciting your notes? do you write them all down? do you like listening to the information being told to you?
handle your time well: you can’t live like those studying influencers all the time. spending entire days studying and pulling all-nighters is neither healthy nor viable long-term. it will take a heavy toll on both your mind and your body and eventually, it will become counter-productive. instead, focus on making the time you spend studying enriching.
breaks: don’t spend them on your phone. have a snack, drink a glass of water, take a walk or do a short stretching routine. getting your mind off of what you’re studying will be a refreshing reset.
take care of your body: without a healthy body, studying will be ineffective, long and gruelling. so eat healthy meals, drink lots of water, fix your sleep schedule and go exercice!

this is so important! Especially if you decide to wear a simple outfit, your hair it's going to become the key of your outfit! Of course you want the attention to be good, so go for more trendy style of something that makes you more exotic looking, I know it sounds ridiculous, but for example I attracted the most attention when I wore red curly hair, hair that are seen as more rare for people of your ethinicity are the ones that are going to get you the most attention!

When vision is not an option the Smell is the first thing that we notice(along side the sound), I suggest you to smell according to seasons and to use stuff that works great with your body chemistry

You don't have to be all glam up, but a particular style indeed make's other turn around, find body fitting piece of clothing and accessories that increase your confidence, if you prefer a more baggy style, try to go for more graphic hoodies and particular pants(I have in mind the Trad goth aesthetic for some reasons)

Keep your back straight, walk like you know where you have to be, and make sure that you exude confidence while doing it!
