Romione is so slept on. Hermione is so in love with Ron, it makes me sick. He has everything she needs: a man who loves her to the ends of the world but puts her in her place when she needs it. And Ron loves Hermione because she has an extraordinary mind and drive to make the world a better place and she challenges him. Ron teaches her how to love better while she teaches him how to think better. They balance each other out soooo well. They're extremely imperfect people who, from everything the canon indicates, grew tremendously and made it in the long run. It's a beautiful, beautiful story.

Funniest thing to me is that a lot of other tomarry shippers love ronmione aswell which is so delightful to me, like imagine this exchange:

"What's your favorite het/canon HP ship??"

"Oh it's definitely Ronmione, they're just so adorable and healthy"

Yeah men being down bad is great and all, but I want to see a woman whose down bad. And I want her to know it. I want her to be an awkward mess around him, even though she's not one to get awkward.

Voice falters when he enters the room she's in, nervous when he tries to talk to her as she tries to sound casual, the moment he leaves she buries her head in her hands and groans. Maybe even asks Cupid what kind of godforsaken arrow he shot her with. I want her to be very confused, not about why she's fallen in love with him, but about how badly she's fallen for him.

Aside from Luna, Ron is the hardest HP character to capture in fic. Anyone can be intelligent (that's why so many writers gravitate to Hermione) but genuinely funny people are much rarer. Book smarts is plastic, it's everywhere; wit, on the other hand, is a precious metal. Even Ron stans struggle with getting his voice right. I could write Hermione in my sleep, but nailing Ron's quips and comebacks often requires careful thought and precision.

QED Ron bashers are just jelly they ain't as funny as The Weasel King.
