Not Quite Right

Summary:

When Marinette wakes up one morning, she can’t help but feel that something is just a little bit… off. No one else around her seems to feel the same, however, and she is forced to shake off the strange feelings.

It proves to be more difficult than she imagined, especially when an akuma attack leaves her feeling helpless as she watches Chat Noir and Ladybug arrive on scene.

i'm going through my google drive and weeding through all my shit to make some space and i keep coming across old fics i abandoned and some of em i'm like damn someone should finish that and then there's others that make me laugh so hard,,, who knew i could sometimes be funny?? ig its bc its my humor so its tailored specifically to me but whatever....cue montage of lines/paragraphs that make me laugh

Voltron fic that i have completely forgotten the plot of. I think the spirit of Lance McClain inhabited me to write these lines because they were one after another. I barely got my breath before the next one hit:

4. Merlin fic. This one didn't make me laugh but I think it needs to breach containment and be seen by someone other than my dusty google drive

One thing I love about Marichat (early marichat which is weird cause I actually didn’t ship it until elation cause I was a stupid little child who didn’t even ship Travlyn until someone had to explain to me that I’m an idiot and they do work)

Ahem…

is the idea that Adrien that whole time is thinking that Marinette has a thing for Chat Noir cause she’ll always talk about him more than Ladybug cause she doesn’t want people thinking she’s Ladybug by talking about Ladybug. And so whenever she has the choice between like getting ladybug merchandise or Chat Noir merchandise, she’ll pick Chat Noir. And Adrien is just thinking “wow, she must really like Chat Noir” and that’s why it doesn’t even phase him when he thinks she likes him in Weredad.

That’s why I love it when I see artists draw Marinette with like Chat Noir themed pajamas or halloween costumes because she’s trying to avoid putting suspicion on that she’s Ladybug but really everyone thinks she’s just a really big Chat Noir fan
