How to Choose the Best Matcha for Your Health Needs
Matcha, a finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves, has become a popular health beverage around the world. It's known for its numerous health benefits, vibrant green color, and unique taste. But with so many options available, how do you choose the best matcha for your health needs? In this article, we'll guide you through the essential factors to consider when selecting the right matcha, ensuring you get the maximum health benefits from this amazing tea.
Understanding Matcha Grades
Matcha comes in different grades, and understanding these can help you choose the best matcha for your specific health needs. The two main grades of matcha are:
1. Ceremonial Grade Matcha: This is the highest quality matcha, made from the youngest tea leaves with the most vibrant green color and smoothest flavor. It's ideal for traditional tea ceremonies and for those who want to enjoy the purest form of matcha. Ceremonial grade matcha is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and amino acids, making it a great choice for health enthusiasts.
2. Culinary Grade Matcha: This grade is slightly lower in quality compared to ceremonial grade but still offers numerous health benefits. It's perfect for cooking, baking, and adding to smoothies or lattes. Culinary grade matcha has a stronger flavor, which makes it a versatile ingredient in various recipes.
When choosing matcha for health benefits, it's important to know that both ceremonial and culinary grades can be beneficial, but the quality and intended use will vary.
Health Benefits of Matcha
Matcha is renowned for its numerous health benefits. Here are some key reasons why incorporating matcha into your diet can be a great choice for your health:
1. Rich in Antioxidants: Matcha contains high levels of catechins, particularly epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which is known for its powerful antioxidant properties. Antioxidants help combat free radicals in the body, reducing the risk of chronic diseases and promoting overall health.
2. Boosts Metabolism: The combination of caffeine and antioxidants in matcha can help boost your metabolism, aiding in weight loss and maintenance. Drinking matcha regularly can support your weight management goals.
3. Enhances Mental Clarity and Focus: Matcha contains L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes relaxation without causing drowsiness. This, combined with caffeine, provides a sustained energy boost and enhances mental clarity and focus.
4. Supports Detoxification: Matcha is rich in chlorophyll, which helps detoxify the body by removing harmful toxins. Regular consumption of matcha can support liver function and overall detoxification processes.
5. Strengthens the Immune System: The vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants in matcha contribute to a stronger immune system. Regularly drinking matcha can help protect against infections and illnesses.
6. Promotes Heart Health: The catechins in matcha can help lower LDL cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease. Drinking matcha as part of a healthy diet can support cardiovascular health.
How to Choose the Best Matcha for Your Health Needs
Now that you understand the benefits of matcha, here are some tips to help you choose the best matcha for your health needs:
1. Look for Organic Matcha: Choose organic matcha to avoid exposure to pesticides and other harmful chemicals. Organic matcha is grown without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, ensuring a pure and healthy product. For the highest quality, consider sourcing from a reputable japanese matcha supplier.
2. Check the Origin: The best matcha comes from Japan, where it has been cultivated for centuries. Japanese matcha suppliers, like Aki Matcha, are known for their high-quality products. Ensure that your matcha is sourced from reputable regions in Japan, such as Uji, Nishio, or Shizuoka.
3. Examine the Color: High-quality matcha should have a vibrant, bright green color. This indicates that the matcha is made from young, tender leaves that are rich in chlorophyll and nutrients. Avoid matcha that appears dull or yellowish, as it may be of lower quality.
4. Check the Texture: Good matcha should be finely ground and have a smooth, silky texture. When you rub it between your fingers, it should feel soft and not gritty. This texture ensures that the matcha will dissolve well and provide a pleasant drinking experience.
5. Taste and Aroma: Quality matcha has a sweet, grassy flavor with a hint of umami. It should not taste bitter or astringent. The aroma should be fresh and slightly vegetal. If possible, sample the matcha before purchasing to ensure it meets your taste preferences.
6. Read Reviews and Certifications: Look for matcha that has positive reviews and certifications from reputable organizations. This can provide assurance of the product's quality and authenticity.
Using Matcha for Health Benefits
Once you've chosen the best matcha for your health needs, it's important to use it in ways that maximize its benefits. Here are some suggestions:
1. Matcha Tea: Enjoy matcha in its purest form by whisking it with hot water to create a traditional matcha tea. This method preserves the delicate flavors and health benefits of the matcha.
2. Matcha Latte: For a creamy and delicious treat, try making a best matcha for latte. Use high-quality matcha and your favorite type of milk. Aki Matcha offers fresh matcha lattes for local delivery in Tampa, FL, providing a convenient and tasty way to enjoy matcha.
3. Smoothies: Add a teaspoon of matcha to your favorite smoothie recipes. This is a great way to incorporate matcha into your diet and enjoy its health benefits in a refreshing drink.
4. **Baking and Cooking**: Use culinary grade matcha to enhance the flavor and nutritional value of your baked goods and savory dishes. Matcha can be added to cakes, cookies, bread, and even pasta dishes.
5. **Matcha Capsules**: If you prefer a convenient option, consider matcha capsules or supplements. These provide the same health benefits as traditional matcha tea in a portable form.
Conclusion
Choosing the best matcha for your health needs involves understanding the different grades, recognizing the numerous health benefits, and knowing what to look for in high-quality matcha. Whether you're drinking matcha tea, enjoying a matcha latte, or incorporating it into your recipes, matcha is a versatile and powerful addition to your diet. By selecting organic, vibrant, and smooth matcha from reputable Japanese matcha suppliers like Aki Matcha, you can ensure you're getting the most out of this incredible tea.
Remember, matcha is not just a drink; it's a lifestyle choice that can enhance your health and well-being. So, start exploring the world of matcha today and discover the best matcha for health for your needs.

Strategies I use to…
Reconnect with myself˚◞♡ ⃗ *ೃ༄
Hiiii, here is a list of some things I do in order to reconnect with myself!
When I feel down, overwhelmed, mindless, or just not like my usual self, these activities are my saviours.
• Physical activity!!! - You know I had to put this one first, girl. Strength training, stretching, swimming, running, walking, dancing, playing sports, etc. Physical activity makes me feel amazing and gives me a total confidence boost, I’m just in my element.
• Meditation - Deep breathing, relaxing music, clear mind, I love it! I feel a deep sense of connection with myself and the universe when meditating. It’s also just a great reset if you’re in a negative mood, I feel totally cleansed afterwards.
• Pampering!!! - face massage, gua sha, long hot bath/shower, full body massage, cute treat/drink, ice roller, positive affirmations, comfy clothes, favourite movie, and so on.
• Get creative - Getting creative is a good way to express and connect with yourself. Doing something artsy always reminds me of when I was a kid, and writing is a great outlet for my creativity.
Drawing, writing, sculpting, painting, colouring, knitting, crocheting, etc.
• Journaling - I love journaling so much. It’s a good way to check-in with yourself, learn about yourself, and release your emotions. I feel a lot more in tune with myself afterwards.
I’ll write about : Things I am grateful for, my dreams and desires, goals I’m working towards, my favourite things about myself, my feelings, etc.
• Expressing myself - Often, the reason for me feeling disconnected with myself is because I’ve hidden or ignored my true feelings/thoughts/self. I mean obviously masking yourself makes you feel disconnected with yourself…
My strategy is to openly express myself confidently. I share my feelings and opinions, and I don’t try to hide who I am. I don’t care what people think of me, I will never be ashamed or embarrassed of my authentic self.

How can I loose weight?
I got you.
💗weightloss, diets and healthy habits💗
1. healthy habits
before we start, you want longterm process. So form habits. Become disciplined.
No crash-diet means no jojo-effect. No crash-diet means actual progress that doesnt go to waste.
2. diet
No matter how much you move, if your diet is not sitting right, you wont slim down. Over time you have to include healthy and nutritious options into your diet.
~small bowl of veggies, before breakfast
(such as cucumber, bell pepper, carotts, tomatos. That way your bloodsugar levels wont come crushing down midday)
~breakfast should include something that keeps you full. Dont skip it. People who eat breakfast tend to loose more weight and be slimmer.
(Porride, Eggs, Avocado, etc)
I usually include: Oatmeal, Chia sees, Berries and one Banana
~try not to snack, keep going for three meals a day
~eat whole foods, eat clean and make sure to dont neglect your protein-intake
(protein keeps us full and satisfied. Also, you want to loose fat, not muscle)
~cut out sodas and liquid calories!!!
such a waste. go for the light options with 0-2kcal. They taste the same, if not better.
Also, drink enough water.
3. workout
Normally, I work out every day in some way.
Cardio, strenght, pilates or just a walk outside.
Moving your body, keeping it toned and flexible, helps your mood, your health and your overall life.
On top, it burns calories.
Build some muscle and loose some fat. Thats how you get your dream body.
Here are my favorite channels, that I workout to daily:
MIZI (cardio mainly, full body workouts and burning calories)
Lidia Mera (pilates full body, toning and strenghtenig, legs, arms, abs)
Shirlyn Kim (specific parts, weightloss, strenghtening/toning,thigh gap)
Yuuka Sagawa (posture, arms and upper body)
Nina Dapper (arms, legs and abs)
4. Beauty Secrets
~ginger/curcuma shots
I tend to have ginger shots to boost my immune system and overall health. They are also very good for your skin and can give you a natural glow.
~probiotics
Your gut health is a game changer. You get less break outs and you can loose weight faster.
You can heal your gut through your diet and order some probiotics.
~castor oil
I live and breath castor oil.
Usually I apply it before bed on my lashes, hair and skin. It helps with hair growth, skin protection and hydration. Its also very good for debloating and detox, if you put it into your belly button.
~green tea
This magic tea can help you loose weigtt, reduce the risk of several diseases, such as diabetes or heart disease,
It reduces anxiety and lowers your cholesterol level.

What Does Matcha Taste Like?
If you've ever wondered what matcha tastes like, you're not alone. Matcha has gained popularity worldwide, especially among health-conscious individuals and tea enthusiasts. At Aki Matcha, we supply organic Japanese matcha powder wholesale and retail, and we especially offer fresh matcha lattes for local delivery in Tampa, FL. This article will dive into the taste of matcha, how to make it, its health benefits, and much more.
What Does Matcha Taste Like?
Describing the taste of matcha can be a delightful experience, as it has a unique flavor profile unlike any other tea. Here are the key aspects of its taste:
1. Umami: One of the most notable characteristics of matcha is its umami flavor. Umami is a savory taste that adds depth and richness to the matcha. It’s a taste sensation that's often described as meaty or brothy, similar to mushrooms or soy sauce but in a subtle, tea-like form.
2. Earthy: Matcha has a distinctly earthy flavor due to its high chlorophyll content. This gives it a taste that's reminiscent of fresh, green plants or vegetables like spinach or seaweed.
3. Sweetness: High-quality matcha, like the one we offer at Aki Matcha, has a natural sweetness. This sweetness balances out the bitterness, making for a pleasant and smooth tasting experience.
4. Bitterness: Matcha has a slight bitterness, which is usually mild if you’re using high-grade matcha. The bitterness should not be overpowering and often pairs well with the natural sweetness.
5. Vegetal: There’s a fresh, green, and vegetal taste, similar to eating fresh green vegetables. This freshness is part of what makes matcha feel so invigorating and refreshing.
How to Enjoy the Taste of Matcha
Straight Matcha Tea To truly appreciate the unique flavor of matcha, try it as a straight tea. Here’s a simple recipe: 1. Measure the Matcha: Use 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder. 2. Sift the Powder: Sifting helps prevent clumps and ensures a smooth texture. 3. Add Water: Pour a small amount of hot water (not boiling) into the bowl with the matcha powder. 4. Whisk: Use a bamboo whisk to mix the matcha until it’s frothy and smooth. 5. Enjoy: Sip and savor the rich, earthy, and slightly sweet flavor.
Matcha Latte For those who prefer a creamier beverage, a matcha latte is a great option. Here’s how to make one: 1. Prepare the Matcha: Follow the same steps for making straight matcha tea. 2. Heat Milk: Heat your choice of milk (dairy, almond, soy, oat) until warm but not boiling. 3. Combine: Pour the heated milk into the matcha tea. 4. Sweeten (Optional): Add a sweetener like honey or agave if desired. 5. Stir and Enjoy: Mix well and enjoy the creamy, smooth, and slightly sweet taste of a matcha latte.
Variations of Matcha Latte Iced Matcha Latte An iced matcha latte is a refreshing way to enjoy matcha, especially on a hot day. Here’s a simple recipe: 1. Prepare the Matcha: Use the same method as for a straight matcha tea, but with cold water. 2. Mix with Milk: Combine the cold matcha tea with cold milk. 3. Add Ice: Pour over a glass of ice. 4. Sweeten (Optional): Add a sweetener if desired. 5. Stir and Enjoy: Mix well and enjoy the cold, refreshing taste of an iced matcha latte.
How to Make Starbucks Matcha Latte Starbucks matcha lattes are popular, but you can make a similar drink at home. Here’s how: 1. Prepare the Matcha: Follow the steps for making straight matcha tea. 2. Heat Milk: Use your favorite type of milk and heat it up. 3. Sweeten: Add a sweetener like vanilla syrup or sugar to the milk. 4. Combine: Mix the sweetened milk with the matcha tea. 5. Enjoy: Sip and enjoy the Starbucks-style matcha latte at home. Matcha Health Benefits: Matcha isn’t just tasty; it’s also packed with health benefits. Here are some reasons why you might want to include matcha in your diet: 1. High in Antioxidants: Matcha is rich in antioxidants, which can help protect your body from damage by free radicals. 2. Boosts Metabolism: Some studies suggest that matcha can help boost metabolism and aid in weight loss. 3. Improves Focus and Calmness: Matcha contains L-theanine, an amino acid that can promote relaxation and improve focus. 4. Supports Heart Health: Regular consumption of green tea, including matcha, has been linked to improved heart health. 5. Detoxifies the Body: The chlorophyll in matcha helps detoxify the body by removing heavy metals and other toxins. The Best Matcha Powder When choosing matcha, quality matters. Here’s what to look for: 1. Color: High-quality matcha should be vibrant green, indicating a high chlorophyll content. 2. Texture: It should be a fine powder, not coarse or gritty. 3. Origin: Look for matcha sourced from Japan, where the best matcha is traditionally produced. 4. Flavor: High-quality matcha should have a balance of sweetness and umami, without being too bitter. At Aki Matcha, we pride ourselves on providing the best matcha powder as possible. Our matcha is vibrant green, hand-picked, finely ground, and sourced directly from our farms in Japan.
Matcha Powder Wholesale If you’re looking to buy matcha in bulk, we offer wholesale options that ensure you get the best quality at a great price. Our matcha powder wholesale service is perfect for cafes, restaurants, and businesses looking to offer premium matcha products. Japanese Matcha Wholesale Our matcha is sourced directly from our family farms in Japan, ensuring authenticity and quality. As a trusted Japanese matcha supplier, we guarantee that our matcha meets the highest standards. Buy Matcha in Bulk Buying matcha in bulk is a great way to save money and ensure you always have fresh matcha on hand. Whether you’re a business or an individual matcha lover, our bulk options cater to your needs. Caffeine in Matcha Matcha contains caffeine, but it’s different from the caffeine found in coffee. Here’s what you need to know: 1. Sustained Energy: The caffeine in matcha is released slowly, providing sustained energy without the jitters. 2. L-Theanine: The presence of L-theanine in matcha helps promote calmness, balancing the stimulating effects of caffeine. 3. Moderate Amount: A typical serving of matcha contains about half the caffeine of a cup of coffee, making it a gentler option for those sensitive to caffeine. How to Make Matcha Latte Making a matcha latte at home is easy and allows you to control the ingredients and sweetness. Here’s a basic recipe: 1. Measure the Matcha: Use 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder (highly recommend ceremonial matcha powder) 2. Sift the Powder: Sifting helps prevent clumps. 3. Add Water: Use a small amount of hot water to dissolve the matcha powder. 4. Whisk: Whisk until frothy. 5. Heat Milk: Heat your choice of milk (dairy, almond, soy, oat). 6. Combine: Mix the frothy matcha with the heated milk. 7. Sweeten (Optional): Add a sweetener like honey or agave if desired. 8. Enjoy: Stir well and enjoy your creamy matcha latte. Where Does Matcha Come From? Matcha has a rich history and cultural significance. Here’s a brief overview: 1. **Origins in China**: Matcha originated in China during the Tang Dynasty but was later popularized in Japan. 2. **Japanese Tea Ceremony**: Matcha became a central part of the Japanese tea ceremony, symbolizing purity, tranquility, and mindfulness. 3. **Modern Popularity**: Today, matcha is enjoyed worldwide for its unique flavor and health benefits.
Conclusion Matcha is a versatile and delicious tea with a unique flavor profile. Whether you enjoy it as a straight tea, in a latte, or in various recipes, matcha offers a rich, earthy, and slightly sweet taste that's hard to resist. At Aki Matcha, we supply organic Japanese matcha powder wholesale and retail, ensuring you get the best quality matcha for your needs. So, whether you're looking to make a Starbucks matcha latte style, explore the health benefits of matcha, or simply enjoy its unique taste, give Aki Matcha a try. Topic: What Does Matcha Taste Like?

HOW I’VE BEEN SUCESSFULLY LOSING WEIGHT: Notes from a former binge eater ♥️
*this guide is to show how ~I~ do things and offer advice on how to do it MY way. I am in no way encouraging anyone to do themselves harm. First off,
HEALTH IS WEALTH.
That being said.. this is literally the longest I’ve ever gone without bingeing. It’s just,,, easy this time. Once you get a feel of what it’s like to be skinny you just don’t crave junk as much anymore bc you KNOW it’s not worth it. The trick is to eat clean 90% of the time and allow your favorite treats 10% do the time. Fit them into your calorie limit!!! Here’s some personal favorites that have helped me lose like 20lbs in the past 2 months.
I tend to do one higher- calorie drink during the day (protein shake, Starbucks, etc) and one healthy filling but low cal meal and a sweet snack at the end of the night.
LOW CALORIE 90%
Mediterranean salad (~150): mixed greens, chopped bell peppers, cherry tomatoes, red onion. Little bit of feta cheese. Balsamic vinegar (not dressing or vinegarette!!!!) I don’t add meat but you could totally add chicken for low cal high protein choice. You could also add olives but I don’t fw them.
Chocolate Protein shakes from the gas station (loll). They’re 220 cal on average and a great treat. Strawberry one is good too.
SEAWEED SNACKS they’re literally 30-60 calories for a pack and kill my urge to eat chips!!! Please give them a try!
Soups. Soups that are already portioned and have the calorie amount posted. I add extra seasonings and spice to boost metabolism.
Coffee!! With almond milk and a little coffee creamer. It’s worth the calories if you want a coffee just make one it’s better than going to Starbucks.
Sushi: I’m vegetarian so I get an avocado and cucumber roll. It’s so good with fresh ginger and a little soy sauce. Sometimes I will be craving it allllllll day and have it as my OMAD so rewarding 🥹
Miso soup>>>>>> add tofu and seaweed and onions!! And mushrooms if you like them.
Monster Ultra energy drinks,,,, yeah I know they’re bad for you but I love them.
Fruits!!! I especially love strawberries, watermelon, cherries, blackberries, pineapple and mangoes.
TREATS 10%
Trail mix: dried cherries, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, cashews. High in calories but perfect for killing hunger. High protein keeps you full and muscles strong, high healthy fats will keep your hair and skin and nails beautiful.
Chocolates: SMALL PORTIONS. if you can’t eat just eat a piece without bingeing, do NOT buy a big bag. what I do is I buy a bar of whatever chocolate I’m craving for my bf and we share it piece by piece. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white, hazelnut, with coffee beans, with toffee, fruits, chocolate is the best thing ever 🍫
Starbucks! My fav drinks are matcha lattes (hot/iced), iced white chocolate mocha, caramel macchiato, and occasionally a pumpkin spice latte. Peppermint mochas on the holidays. Oat milk always
Baked goods. Same deal as the chocolate, ONLY BUY THE PORTION YOURE GOING TO EAT. If you have been craving a croissant, go get one. One. Don’t buy a whole dozen of them. You will end up bingeing trust me. My favs are cinnamon rolls <3
Habits
I’m going to the gym!!! Consistently for the first time in my life. It doesn’t have to be anything crazy. Spend 30 min on the treadmill alternating between incline walking and easy paced jogging. Put on a YouTube video. Wear pink and bring a cute water bottle. You have to make an experience out of it! I stick to cardio and full body stretches plus ocasional (light) strength workouts w my bf.
I don’t drink anymore. Just 🍃. Alc is so high in sugar and carbs and it’s literally poison bro. I know it’s hard to stop but once you do you’ll feel so much better.
I rarely weigh myself. I’m at my bfs house all the time so I only step on my scale maybe 3 times a month. It’s been a game changer!!!
MINDSET
I practice mindfulness and speak kindly to myself. Basically sweetspo + affirmations to myself all the time.
Taking more pride in your appearance will also help motivate you. You think you’ll still want to binge after you took a full body shower, clean PJ’s or outfit, painted your nails, skincare and makeup done, whitened your teeth and lit a candle? No thanks.
Limit stupid, negative, useless media consumption. Watch things that have to do with your hobbies/ interests and your social media algorithms begin to kinda clean themselves up over time. My pages are all about exercise, study blogs, beauty tips and sciencey stuff. No more drama or celebrity nonsense. Cut down your following!!
Remember you only have one life on earth. You’re young and hot once. Don’t you want to grab this chance while you have it? Unfortunately your beauty is your currency especially as a woman, so if there’s anything I can do to give myself a better life I will. Losing just a few pounds of fat will make the craziest difference in ways you’d never expect. Free and discounted stuff. More people smile at you and listen to what you have to say. Both literal and figurative doors will be opened for you.Clothes fit better bc they’re more flattering when your body is fit and healthy. While it feels good to get validation from other people, the best part of it is looking in the mirror and feeling proud instead of ashamed. The inner confidence that comes from successful transformation………….there’s no other feeling that compares. If you know, you know. I’m just saying,, the choice is yours 🤷🏼♀️

⪩⪨How to deal with⪩⪨
Duck Syndrome
What is Duck Syndrome ?
It is when one pretends they look like they have it together but underneath they're struggling and distressed with balancing academics or work, social expectations and responsibilities.
How do I know if I'm struggling with one?
• You often compares yourself with others
• You feel inferior to others
• You fear criticism and failure
• You see your progress as irrelevant
• You feel like a failure and unable to keep up.
How to deal and cope with it?
• Set realistic and reasonable expectations towards yourself
• When you start to compare yourself to others
Remember people often filter what they show in public. They only choose to show the good moments.
People only show the end result. Remember they also struggled and made efforts to get where they are now.
• Have a good support system and practice being vocal of your difficulties.
• Understand you have limits and can't do everything.
• Set boundaries and learn how to say no.
• Be confident in sharing unfiltered moments.
• Make time for self-care and do mental health check-ins.
What can I do to help others who are struggling?
• Be a support system to them. Remind them it's okay to not be okay.
• Normalize and show unfiltered moments in your life.
• Help them remove the filter they put onto others.
• Let them see their progress and their own strength

୨୧ looks ୨୧ what’s great about angels is they all carry their beauty in their own unique form, but they keep many things common between all of them, the common denominator being a look of health, whether that be their glowing complexion or their toned bodies, victoria secret angels all have this in common. to achieve such a look opt for glowy skin, preferably with a tan. using a tinted moisturiser, a glowy bronzer and of course some highlighter to achieve that beautiful angel skin should suffice. as for hair, a shiny bouncy blowout is always the best way to top off your angel face, all you need is some rollers and your wings! there are two things that angels are never seen with out, although one of these is quite unattainable to most of us as we don’t just have wings lying around, we can always wear a beautiful smile!
୨୧ personality ୨୧ angels are sweet, soft and simple! they are soft spoken, never raising their voice too much (although an excited scream is common to all of us, we’re girls after all!) and especially not cursing. being kind to everyone is essential, as although you have your gorgeous face, all of that can easily be overshadowed by rudeness, beauty shines from within! for simplicity, angels appreciate the simple things, and are excited to have them, adriana couldn’t have been more excited to have a photo booth picture taken, although she gets many pictures taken daily!
୨୧ outfits ୨୧ when angels aren’t prancing around in their silky pink and white robes, they have a simple yet effective model off-duty look. essentials include, an off the shoulder jumper of sorts, a cute pair of jeans that extenuate their figure best, a beautiful pair of boots and of course a pair of yoga pants! i would associate their off duty style with the 2014 tumblr girl look and the pink pilates princess look, as angels are always working out, so cute workout clothes are an essential, and as the old saying goes, everything looks better in pink!
୨୧ lifestyle ୨୧ an angels day is extremely hectic, from sipping matcha with the other angels on a hot girl walk to hit her 10,000 step goal by day to walking the runway by night, angels have a jam packed daily schedule. luckily for most of us, our days are a lot more manageable. to embody the day of an angel, is quite simple really. as a general, include at least one form of excersise, as fitness is one of the most crucial factors of an angels day, whether this be kickboxing like gigi or ballet like candace or simply a brisk speed walk to increase our heart rates, any form of movement is essential. make sure to include time for your girls too, after all, the angels are always seen together, and the crude amount of fitness in their daily lives may seem more manageable when done with friends!
that’s all for today loves and i hope you enjoyed! remeber you don’t have to include all of these things in your life as you are perfect the way you are, but rather build these things into your already beautiful self to reach your highest potential, as the title suggests!

The Sunday Morning Reset.
Health and wellness are two of my passions and priorities. As you enter your twenties, begin school or a new career, deal with interpersonal relationships, and learn how to mature into an adult, it’s important that you find time to take care of yourself. Burning out is a real issue, and it can be hard to come back from a serious burnout. You could be completely mentally healthy, experience a series of setbacks, or go through a brief period of physical/mental health troubles and find that it’s hard for you to get yourself out of a downward spiral. If you work or stress yourself out to the point of exhaustion, you’ll find that your body will force you to take a break. Prioritize your mental health, protect your wellbeing, and zealously preserve your mind, body, and soul. Never overextend yourself and be sure that you release your worries before resting.
It’s important to have a few hours to yourself at the start of each week so that you can mentally prepare yourself for what’s to come. I choose to do my mental reset on Sunday mornings; I pray and walk to the house as the sun rises, go to my favorite spot on campus (the rooftop), make an iced matcha, write in my journal and planner, and then meet everyone for breakfast downstairs. It’s a small time commitment, but I feel refreshed and ready to take on the week. You don’t need to spend money or do lavish activities; you need to block out some time where you can be in peace and prepare yourself for whatever will come to you. This activity is especially useful if you’re already in a high-stress environment because you can use it to step away from chaos and evaluate your options so that you can make the best choice. It’s not selfish to focus on yourself, look for ways to better enjoy your life, or improve how you feel about the world at large.
TL;DR: self care also involves self improvement. Take the time to find ways to improve both yourself and the life you’re currently living.

15 Random WL Facts
⋆ ˚。⋆୨🍓୧⋆ ˚。⋆
Hello! My name is Marianel, but you can call me Mari. I am dedicating my blog to reuploading whatever information I have saved to my Tiktok favorites due to the upcoming U.S. January 19th ban. I am into fashion, romance, lifestyle improvement, and anything girly, so there will be plenty of coverage on those topics. All republished material, in order to respect the creators, will contain the original post title, caption, username origin, and content. Thank you for stopping by, and I hope my archive helps in any way!
Just a disclaimer for super health-based posts-I am in no way well-versed in such subjects, much less a professional. I will do my best to fact check what I post so as to not spread misinformation. However, if the aforementioned does occur, please correct me so that I may edit 'my' error. There are outside generated revisions on less-than-solid facts.

Protein is useless if you avoid consuming fats in your diet. (same with vitamins) REVISION: False. Protein is essential for many bodily functions like muscle repair and immune support. It’s important to have a balanced diet with fats, but protein isn’t useless if you're avoiding fats. However, fats help with the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K), so avoiding fats can hinder this.
Make sure you consume enough protein, iron, and ESPECIALLY CALCIUM to avoid brittle teeth, hair and nails.
Too much protein and your body treats it the same as carbs. It goes to your glucose stores. REVISION: False. Excess protein isn’t directly converted into glucose the same way carbohydrates are. The body can convert excess protein into glucose via gluconeogenesis, but this process is not as efficient as the conversion of carbohydrates to glucose.
Understand your cravings and adapt to choose healthier options (guide on next 'page')
If you drink mostly diuretics (e.g. caffeine), you need more liquid in your diet.
1L of cool water burns up to 50cal by digesting it. It also helps with performance and burning calories throughout the day. REVISON: False. Drinking cold water can cause a slight increase in calorie burn due to the body needing to warm the water to body temperature. However, it's nowhere near 50 calories. The actual calorie burn is likely to be around 20-30 calories per liter, depending on individual factors.

100 CALORIES OF METABOLISM BOOSTING FOODS
Lemon (without peel)
Chilli Peppers
Caffeine (black coffee)

10. 1kg of fat = ~7,000 calories
1lb of fat = ~3,5000 calories
That's how much it takes to gain/lost it.
11. A healthy deficit is up to 500 calories below your TDEE>
12. Never eat below or on your BMR. Your BMR is what you need to function at total rest. (It's what you need in a coma.)
13. After 7 days of fasting, your body is using more muscle for energy than fay. Fasting is useless at that point. REVISION: Partially true. After prolonged fasting (beyond 2-3 days), the body may start breaking down muscle for energy, although this process depends on many factors (hydration, activity level, etc.).
14. Weight training is great for fat loss! Training weights isn't going to make you bulky. It takes ages to do that and loads of training and eating. You'll notice it.
15. You may not notice results at first because your brain is used to seeing a different weight in the mirror. Ignore the mirror. Ignore the scale too (It can't tell you the difference between fat and muscle) and FOCUS ON YOUR MINDSET.
