100% biased cus I watch this movie, and I'm wolfkin. Every wolfkin/therian/hearted/etc should watch wolfwalkers at least once (or at least look at clips of it on YT if u don't have apple TV.) It wasn't a movie created for kins/therians/otherkin. It had historical context, iirc its moreso based on historical stuf BUT it's a movie many fellow wolves relate to/love.

Personally, it's the best way I can describe being a wolf therian. Also the animation is beautiful. the relationships between the characters is so yummy. The fact someone a person whose job was to hunt and kill wolves ended up becoming one with them. I cannot do this movie any justice, but I'm telling you. You have to watch it, even if it's small clips.

It may not be a documentary or super relatistic. But God fucking damnit its everything I need in my life.

Normalizing loving plurality. Not even your own.

Normalize treating new potential headmates in other systems like a default positive until otherwise. Normalize hearing "I think there's a new guy in here" and saying "Wow! Do you wanna talk to them?" instead of "Oh, no :(" And, of course, normalize treating new headmates who front out of nowhere with no idea where they are with kindness, patience, and understanding. Normalize being a rock they can stand on while they get their footing.

Normalize being frustrated you can't physically hold all your friends in a separate system the way you might hold a non-plural friend group. Normalize adoring your friend's headmates. Normalize being happy for them when they talk about their plurality.

Normalize loving plurality.
