So, we've been doing some research on which platforms are best/worst for being openly endo/pro-endo on

Disclaimer: this applies only if you are going to be actively interacting with / coming across plural spaces in these socials

Tumblr: you know it, you love it, you're currently on it. Tumblr is near undoubtedly the best social media to be endo/pro endo on (that we've found). Users / followers of pro endo tags outnumber users / followers of anti endo tags, which, while definitely existing along with anti-endo blogs, are far less popular, as well as being full mostly of posts that aren't even about endos or even sometime plurality in general, they're more just regular posts tagged with it just to ensure the "icky endos" stay away from their posts.

Bluesky: anti endos are far more common to encounter on Tumblr, but are still generally outnumbered by pro endos. Most mentions of endos just have them on DNI lists from antis or people doing syscourse.

Pinterest: honestly we should have put Pinterest next to Twitter on this list, they're about the same. Anyway, you can't really do text posts though you can definitely find anti endo userboxes and flags, but there's also quite a few endos / pro endos on there. They seem to number about the same

Twitter/X: surprisingly good! A fair few systems on there state being radplur/radinclus, even if they don't explicitly state they're pro endo. We saw just as many people supporting endos as we did hating on them, though syscourse doesn't seem to be discussed often on there.

Instagram: anti endos appear to outnumber pro endos by a little bit. The top few posts we saw were about 50% "why endos are bad" 40% "why endos are okay" and 10% "why fakeclaiming in general is bad (this does not extend to endos)". Overall, fairly negative place to be, try to avoid.

Youtube: 95% of videos about endos are information videos about them or "why I don't support endos" or "why are endos problematic". Syscourse is not a popular topic there, videos are 1000 views at max. There are definitely better places to be endo / pro endo

Tiktok: absolute hell for endos and pro endos alike. Next to no pro endos, next to no usage of the proendo tag, home of Asp*nfr*st*n. For your own safety and mental health, if you use tiktok, do not publically announce you are endo. It is better to stay away from the plurality side in general, to be honest.

Reddit: not on this list. This is because, due to how separated communities are, Reddit is Schrodinger's syscourser: both anti and pro endo at the same time, depending on which plural communities you frequent.

Approaching getting ready to find a job and sorta get out there in life in general, and it’s just tough cause I know we’re only getting to that point because I’m slowly becoming a sort of co-host and I’m putting in a lot of work to get us there, and mentally I tend to be more grown up and confident than our main host so it is a bit easier for me.

However the idea of going to work and getting to know people and stuff without being openly plural, having to mask as our host or some sort of “singlet-sona” makes me extremely uncomfortable and generally upset.

I want to be openly plural so bad, but I know for the safety of our system and body as a whole, I have to be responsible and careful about what I choose to share with people we don’t know very well, and even people we do, especially in recent times where being trans, queer, neurodivergent, pagan, alternative, etc. is actively putting a huge target on our back, as we live in America, specifically Texas.

In my stance, I am punk as hell, I would wanna be as openly everything as possible and give a big ol’ “fuck you” to anyone who gives us a problem over it, and try to educate those who are ignorant but well intentioned.

But it’s not just up to me. It’s not just about me. I have my whole system to worry about. I have my friends and family to worry about. So it comes down to either prioritizing our collective safety as best we can, or prioritizing our values.

Maybe we’ll just try and start slow, idk. The future is plural, we will be seen sooner or later

Concept Ideas for a Superhero Plural

-"evil alter" who looks like a stereotypical demon at first but is actually super chill

-secret identity? don't worry about it. jeff fronts for everything other than superheroing. he also has no idea he's plural. he has two kids.

-alternatively; jeff is lowkey the backbone to the superhero team. jeff loves his headmates and coordinates everything to keep everything in place.

-alternatively alternatively; jeff is the super denial alter. he has to be kept safe and out of superheroing because he is in denial that he's plural and or a superhero. jeff constantly finds scars and wounds and goes "how did that get here? oh well."

-really fluffy and cute animal alter from childhood pet who is in his 40s-just wants to take a nap.

-object alter that will blend into the surrounding area. like, flower alter who just. switches in a stealth mission.

-said alter falls asleep during mission and wakes up to bees. switches to another alter who is FREAKED OUT about bees.

-fictives of in-universe comic book heros.

-suspiciously similar fictives of different franchises.

-factives of villians in-universe-they have an awkward encounter and the villain goes "oh that's me. wait." before realising.

-villain factive is actually super heroic, not like source at all.

-alternatively; villain alter is similarly evil but in a comical way. real villain wants to maim the factive for smearing his name.

-obligatory switching midair-falling-switching back/switching to someone who can catch the fall.

-fictive alters who break all the laws of physics. why is a dragon flying around? uhh, magic?

-alters who are concepts. the concept of time who can tell the future. appears as a radio station-someone else has to turn it on in order to hear the future(?).

-reckless teenager alter who listens to mcr and bashes in criminals

-morally grey alter who will kill. the rest get super upset about it.

-the body has no "real" form. its just shape-shifty, apart from the whole plural thing.

-on the same note, there is no "real guy", just a bunch of dudes who regularly change hosting (or not even hosting). this makes povs and continuity stuff super fun, as literally one alter could host and another writer could pick up the story and change the host. same events, different guy.

-some evil guy tries to use mind control. one alter is zapped, and another guy just co-fronts to defeat the villain.

-alternatively; the mind control guy has to mind control like sixty different people. does NOT work.
