For some fucking reason Umbridge teaches at Hogwarts while the 10 Bllu children are attending.

Regulus is fighting at the Ministry to kick her out, Sirius is giving the kids the map, James gives Harry his cloak, Remus tells them about the Room of Requirements, Peter tells them which portraits would be most likely to help, which are most likely to tell on them and how to convince Peeves to join them.

Poppy and Minnie would turn a blind eye to their shenanigans, and if they see even one blood quill wound on their grandchildren (which includes Harry btw, you can’t convince me otherwise) they straight up poison that toad in a way that isn’t lethal or can be proven, and Poppy is in no hurry to cure her.

Minerva Mcgonagall was crazy in love with Poppy Pomfrey, Elphinstone Urquartfell fell for a man from work. They liked and respected each other, so they made a deal - lavender marriage. Elphinstone bought nice house in Hogsmeade where theoreticly he lived with his wife. Practiclly he was there maximum once for two months and never stayed for long, because of "necessary, eternally prolonged business trips" with one specific coworker. No one was suprised that Minerva was lonely and needed a company of her dear friend. There was one thing that was missing.

A child.

Elphinstone couldn't see himself as a father figure, but he wasn't against being a cool uncle. For Poppy it was like a sweet dream, a thought in the back of her head. And Minerva wanted to be a mother more than anything in the world. She loved studying and working, she wouldn't abandon it, but something in her heart wanted to give and recive this type of unconditional love, to see a baby becoming a teenager and then an adult. She was in seventh heaven when after a year of unpleasant attempts, she was told that she will have a son.

Minnie and Poppy started to prepare themselves for the arrival. They painted the walls in a previously empty room, decorated it and put as many toys as possibile. They would lay together on the floor or the bed and just talk about small things that they wanted to do with their little boy.

Poppy left for a weekend to finish her research on dragon pox, while Minerva was working on creating a new spell. One night Minnie woke up almost crying from pain. When Elphinstone came back sooner than he expected, he found his wife in the bathroom, crying, with blood flowing down her legs. He was terified. He tried to help her, but when he touched her she started to scream even lauder, so he called Poppy. She came as soon as she could and held Minerva in her arms (after checking that she wasn't in any danger) while Elphinstone was cleaning the bathroom. Then, only one thing was certain. Minerva had a misscarrige. The next day, a healer told them that due to past health problems Mcgonagall won't be able to carry a pregnancy to term. They never talked about it again.

Elphinstone died few months after that in an accident in Europe. To keep herself occupied and feel needed Minerva started to work as a teacher in Hogwarts to see young people grow and develop. She was living happily with Poppy at her side.

Yet still after many years she would stop for a few seconds in front of the closed door to the childredn's room from which not a single thing was ever taken.
