“The women's liberation groups still attempting to work within the larger leftist movement haven't a chance, for their line is dictated from above, their analysis and tactics shaped by the very class whose illegitimate power they are protesting. And thus they rarely succeed in doing more than increasing the tension that already threatens their frayed leftist groups with extinction. If ever they do become powerful they are brought off with tokens, or, if necessary, the larger group quietly disintegrates and reorganizes without them. Often, in the end, they are forced to split off and join the independent women's movement after all.”

I must've had a concussion before November 5th bc why are there so many conservative men whining about not getting dates with liberal & leftist women and conservatives in general whining about liberals & leftists not wanting to be their friends??
I'm sorry, but these last 8 years, conservatives have been sharing memes about how liberal & leftist women are ugly, irrational, have colorful hair, hairy as shit, men-hating feminists, mentally ill, and don't understand economics. like they literally believe that of us, why tf would they want us if they see us as caricatures. unless they admit those stereotypes aren't real. also, a lot of these conservative men realize they can't get a conservative woman bc they tend to be older, the ones their age already got married at 18 or they're single and expect men to be a provider instead of a mediocre man baby. but more importantly, why do they think any leftist & liberal woman would want to date them, especially now?? I'm seeing a lot of women now stand on business since Trump got re-elected. you can vote for laws that restrict our rights, but there's no law saying we need to be around you.

I just saw someone describe the phenomenon of all kinds of minority groups allying with people who want to kill them too as long as they also want to kill Jews and accepting all the bigotry that goes along with that even when it's directed towards them themselves as "intersectional antisemitism" and um yeah wow I think that is a really useful term.

Hi, I saw one of your latest posts talking about the gender "segregation" where you state that women's only spaces shouldn't exist. So, if that was actually real, do you think me, a cis lesbian woman, should I be using a changing room or a bathroom used also by people with penises?
I would feel very uncomfortable being naked near someone who is biologically a male and I have the right to say no, no matter how they react, cis women's feelings matter too and nobody can tell me when I should be uncomfortable, same thing goes for sports, cis women could get physically hurt if a biological male played against them and this had already happened in a school in the US.
This more confirms how you far left activists don't care about us
I do not care about people's disgust when it comes to means of segregation. Do you think that during the 1960s there was no white person who felt uncomfortable sharing a bathroom with someone with dark skin when desegregation hit bathrooms and locker rooms? Do you think there's no white person who feels that way now (hell, a big reason American suberbs are a thing is that it allows white people to live in white only places post civil rights laws)?
How is your desire to feel comfortable through segregation any diffrent? There is a group you feel uncomfortable with in a space so you want it segregated, I suggest you either not use that space or find a way to be more comfortable. Society may have a responsibility for you to be safe, but there is no responsibility for you to feel safe.
And do you think nobody wants to be segregated away from you? You're literally a queer person, there are people who do not want you in public because of the exact same uncomfortablity with you. You probably have way more in common with trans people than most cis people do. If many people were allowed to remove what makes them uncomfortable from society, you would be forced into the closet. This isn't a hypothetical, the same people pushing for removal of trans people from society have same sex relationships as their next target.
Uncomfortablity is not something society can or should protect you from.

said this in the tags of my post before but I feel like it's worth repeating. the thing about this argument that leftists (and specifically feminists) being mean to cishet white men is what's driving them to the alt right is that it's ignoring the fact that these men have women in their lives who are already nice to them. they have mothers, sisters, aunts, coworkers, neighbors, even sometimes girlfriends and wives. there are very, very few men out there that are totally isolated from women that will treat them with kindness. and yet these men will still not see these women as people. they still vote to ban abortion, they will still feel entitled to women's time and bodies, they will still insult perceived "beta males" for not exhibiting their same behaviors. women's kindness does not have a significant material effect on their politics. as long as women will get jobs over men, as long as women are able to say "no" to men, as long as women assert they are people, there will be those men who choose (and I specify choose so people don't misinterpret this as saying it is an "immutable trait") to turn to patriarchal supremacy, and specifically white patriarchal supremacy as long as people of color also make any social headway. that's why the term "reactionary" exists.

It’s so clear that America has gotten way more conservative, especially among men and it’s a problem that needs to be addressed. You could say “Gen Z is the generation of change. We’re the most progressive generation” but that’s so fucking bullshit. We got the same amount of republican voters as the previous generation. Hold Gen Z (especially Gen Z men) accountable.

the reason men are getting more conservative is very simply that as a class, as a socioeconomic group, their power is being threatened by womens civil rights. its the same reason for the broad surge in right wing politics. its called a backlash and its also why most civil war monuments are from the era of the black civil rights movement and not actually from the civil war.

Boy I can't wait for another four years of being blamed for white women voting for Trump when like. It's cishet white Christian women. It is a specific demographic. We know this.
But yeah, let's shame your local white lesbians for not... somehow converting their homophobic transphobic moms. This will save democracy. I'm already exhausted.

I know I said I'd be inactive but I gotta rant like I'm at a point of pure rage and I'm not all the way sober rn. As a black woman? I feel betrayed. Like I have no clue why, but for some reason I had faith in y'all to come through and recognize that while Kamala isn't perfect by any means that a Trump presidency would likely mean wraps for all of us, but no. Every. Single. Group managed to fuck up aside from black men and women in this election.
What happens when the internet becomes so overruled with censorship that we can no longer share information about the causes we care about? The police are already over militarized and the oompa loompa that's been put up in office is fully ready to grant them immunity, meaning they would essentially be able to do whatever the fuck they want to us without consequence.
I mean let's be fucking real that immunity is going to affect my community at a disproportionate rate just in case you guys already forgot what those pigs like to do to us. And my community is also that main group of people that is out on the street riding for everybody when there's an issue so what's gonna happen now? Hm?
Black women have been saying for a good while that we should vote for the candidate who will let us keep doing the work we're trying to do. The one that we would be safe protesting and organizing under so that we can make change both in and outside of our community, for example, actually putting third-party candidates in STATE GOVERNMENTS so that when actual viable third parties run, they'll have some chance in the presidential election. Y'know because the Electoral votes and support from state governments are really what matters.
And I say ACTUAL viable third-party candidates because, let's be real once again, half the people who voted for Jill Stein didn't do research on her like they should have. That white lady has been a grifter this isn't news.
It's like...watching people just cling to the idea that some big revolution is going to start within the next year because of this is exhausting, especially when the vast majority of American citizens had not a fucking clue about Palestine, Sudan, or Congo until 2023. Unfortunately for us, this shit takes time and actual irl community building. These election results have only made what would have been difficult nearly impossible because people either want to stand on some moral high ground or for 'tax cuts' that they aren't eligible for because half of you bitches are poor just like the rest of us.
I'm fucking exhausted. My ancestors survived slavery, Jim Crow, red lining - we're still surviving and fighting for justice for victims of police brutality and I am so. Fucking. Tired of surviving shit because y'all can't think critically for two fucking seconds. It's like doing a group project but everyone else has a few pebbles in their skulls knocking around in there instead of brains.

Bigots don't realize how far I want society to go in terms of acceptance. I want to see a world where an eighteen year old getting bottom surgery that leaves them entirely without genitals, or with both sets of sex organs, to be commonplace. I want to see a world where the hotboy singer all the straight girles are fawning over to be an underweight pre T trans guy. I want there to be public theistic luciferian pagan churches, that were converted from catholic churches, and have church school attached to them. I want fathers to be proud of their daughters becoming sex workers. I want the title of ceo to seem as ancient as the title of duke. I want it to be considered normal that some psychotic people carry weapons for self defense. I want it to be normalized for people to be on puberty blockers deep into adulthood. I want...

Random thought but have you ever noticed that breadtube is...misogynistic? Idk, as someone who used to watch a lot of breadtube (still a leftist, but as I've learned more about leftist politics and movements I find that breadtube often lacks substance - just seems like a lot of rambling without critical thinking/analysis).
Like, I can't help but notice that the lot of them shy away from topics around sex based oppression, male/female socialization, sexploitation etc (and if they're not ignoring it, they're saying that none of it is real and that those are just conservative talking points).
Idk. I just feel like a lot of people would rather watch transwomen talk about how important feminist works are actually bigoted to justify violent, misogynistic feelings toward radical feminists who discuss these things. It feels like they want to intellectualize misogyny and uphold a strawman of radical feminism so that they can validate telling women to shut the fuck up about our oppression. Am I making sense?
yes, you're totally making sense, and I decided to look into that. so I made an Excel list with the most prominent Bread Tubers, the number of their subscribers, their biological sexes and their gender identities:
Tumblr media
if you just look at gender identity, the subscribers seem to be quite evenly distributed between men, women and non-binary people:
Tumblr media
looks kinda fair, right?
but if we look into biological sex...
Tumblr media
it's suddenly clear that biological males gather about 77 percent of the total subscribers, while biological females gather only about 24 percent.
doesn't seem that fair anymore, right?
but it gets even worse when you take into account the male's gender identities...
Tumblr media
there are more subscribers to biological males with female or non-binary gender identities than subscribers to biological females???
I guess there is your answer on why bread tube does not cover issues of sexism and sex-based oppression.
...and that is why an analysis based on biological sex is important and trying to erase it will let us believe that we are closer to equality between the sexes than we actually are

The solutions to transandrophobia, transmisogyny, etc. Aren't going to come from getting rid of or separating yourselves from the other half of the trans community. The solutions rely on co-operation, on solidarity, on inter-community support. Trans men need Trans women, trans women need trans men, we need nonbinary people and intersex people and we need every single trans group there is. We need to hold each other accountable, to share our experiences, to love being trans TOGETHER.
Our enemy is not each other, and anyone who says otherwise is sewing division in an already vulnerable community. Our enemies are the systems of domination like white supremacy, colonialism, capitalism, the patriarchy, bioessentialism, etc. Our enemies are systems of oppression, not each other.

I think a lot of people really need to shift their talking points from "feminists and leftists are telling young white straight men that they are evil by default" to the actual truth which is "young white straight men are being told by conservative grifters that feminists and leftists think they are evil by default"
