I'm calling it early - I doubt anyone will beat The Right Reverend Mariann Edgar Budde

(I sure hope I've addressed her correctly)

For the most stunning act of bravery, class, integrity, and speaking truth to power that has graced the USA in far too long.

Not a single shake in her voice as she spoke directly to one of the most vengeful, spiteful, and (unfortunately) powerful people on the planet, while also receiving glares of hate and outrage from the despicable VP and his wife.

It's not the first time she's stood up for what is right in defiance of trump's actions, but while many may speak out on it, there have been scarcely any with the backbone to follow through on the opportunity to do it to his face, and especially on live television. She had her moment, and she didn't waste it.

May she be the inspiration we all take forward with us into the turbulent times ahead.

BREAKING: MAGA billionaire Elon Musk picks a fight with a respected commander of the International Space Station and calls him "retarded" after he exposed Musk for a bold-faced lie.

This is who Trump has entrusted with running our government...

It all started when Andreas Mogensen, the Danish astronaut in question, reacted to a clip on X of Musk telling Fox News propagandist Sean Hannity that he plans to "rescue" two astronauts who were "left up there" in space "for political reasons."

Mogensen shared the clip and wrote: "What a lie. And from someone who complains about lack of honesty from the mainstream media."

Musk quickly reacted to the tweet, lashing out with the sort of childish insults that we have come to expect from the allegedly ketamine-addicted oligarch—

"You are fully retarded," wrote Musk. "SpaceX could have brought them back several months ago. I OFFERED THIS DIRECTLY to the Biden administration and they refused. Return WAS pushed back for political reasons. Idiot."

As usual Musk provided no evidence for his inflammatory claims. Mogensen then responded with the grace and articulation that Musk seems pathologically incapable of—

"Elon, I have long admired you and what you have accomplished, especially at SpaceX and Tesla," wrote the astronaut. "You know as well as I do, that Butch and Suni are returning with Crew-9, as has been the plan since last September. Even now, you are not sending up a rescue ship to bring them home. They are returning on the Dragon capsule that has been on ISS since last September."

Tellingly, Musk didn't respond to the potent rebuttal. Instead, he responded to another post from Dr. Phil Metzger — Director of the Stephen W. Hawking Center for Microgravity Research & Education — remarking on the hostile exchange.

In it, Musk smeared Mogensen as a "so-called 'Commander'" who "doesn’t know his ass from a hole in the ground."

"Dude has no clue what’s really going on. He’s a passenger," Musk added.

That's all Elon has: insults and rage.

It's also worth noting that shortly after the feud broke out, the billionaire tweeted out a call for the "deorbiting" of the International Space Station because "it has served its purpose" and "there is very little incremental utility."

It's difficult to interpret the outburst as anything other than attempt at exacting revenge on Mogensen for publicly embarrassing him.

Elon is a petty, vindictive man with zero impulse control. The fact that he is now running roughshod over our government, gutting crucial programs, and lining his pockets with our tax dollars is an utter disgrace.

Being educated is knowing pro life people are pro control against women. It’s never been about the kids, these same people who advocate for the fetus are voting against free meals for kids, voting against gun control, and calling immigrants who are children “illegal”. These are the same people who will abandon their child if they come out as gay, these are the same people who voted in the orange pedo. Being pro choice is being pro **human**, being pro life is being pro control.

Trump is now officially a dictator.

Today, February 18, 2025, Donald trump signed a bill that will give only him, and his attorney general, the right to decide what is law.

In other words, the law is to be determined by trump and him alone.

This will remove all independence to federal agencies, and effectively put loyalists in every federal building and system in the US to keep them in line. It will mean that the stock market is now controlled by favoritism and political power, that the media is controlled by sole direction of Donald trump.

it also means that his legal interpretations override all agency autonomy, and will eliminate all independent laws.

it means that all laws he proposes will not need to go through any vote or review by the Supreme Court or senate at all.

It means that the federal bureaucracy america has relied on has officially been replaced by complete presidential loyalty.

This is our enablement act, this is the moment trump truly becomes dictator. Congratulations America, you have utterly failed the entire world, and there is no coming back now. I never thought I’d see this day come.

You HAVE to name names. This is the type of propaganda messaging that WORKS because people are too rock bottom stupid for anything more sophisticated and nuanced.

We have evidence of that: it's called the Republican party and two whole ass terms of ugly orange Trump.

The Democrats can get with the program and target their propaganda with successful "communication" strategies or they can lose.

The average so-called Democratic voter is NO DIFFERENT from a Republican voter. They are not smarter. They're just as stupid. You have to treat them like Republican two-year olds because they're the same brand of person.

This is the truth behind "both parties are the same." The leadership and the goals are not. But the people - pathetically - ARE.

Honestly? I think this is apart of the appeal of Bernie and AOC outside the Democratic base (which despite what people want to say is not the left, but centrist liberal capitalists, the left is a minority even within the Democratic party)

Bernie and AOC are willing to name an enemy. To look at people and tell them, "I know you are hurting, I see it, and it's that guy's fault," except instead of demonizing trans people, poc, and immigrants, it's (imo rightfully) pointing to billionaires, shareholder capitalism, and bigots as what is causing all of us harm.
