Really just general ed courses. Why are you going to make an art major take a science and math course?
Colleges having required classes is truly insane when you think about it.
In every other aspect of your life you get to customize the experience to your own interests. From the movies you watch, music you listen to, games played, food you eat is all customized to you.
Having required college classes out side of your interests is like a bookstore requiring you to buy a sci-fi novel because only reading poetry means you won’t be a “well rounded” reader.

Going into crippling debt to become credentialed in something that might be important but underpaid isn’t a good idea.
A great deal about those topics can be learned about for free in the library or online.
THERE ARE NO USELESS MAJORS!!
Learning about theater is important! Learning about art is important! Learning about sociology is important! Learning about history is important! Learning about anthropology is important! Learning about philosophy important! Learning about music is important! Learning about English is important! Learning about dance is important! Learning about photography is important! Learning about art history is important! Learning about ethnic studies is important! Learning about theology is important! Learning about performing arts is important!
Usefulness does not equal high income!
All education is important!

Firstly, maintain your own documents. Lots of people including natural born citizens already do this, so no big deal. And it would encourage documentation to be kept by authorities because if you were trying to get people they would have to be documented as banished persons first. If you ‘lose’ documentation at worst you banish the person.
Secondly this would be legal and constitutional, as long as congress passes appropriate legislation.
Maybe instead of deporting people we should banish them instead.
What’s the difference you ask?
I’m proposing that upon banishment an individual is no longer eligible to enter the US under any circumstances forever. Civil war in your country, natural disasters, vacation? Don’t care, you’ve been banished. We take your DNA and fingerprints as verification of identity, and get rid of you.
Anyone who is caught re-entering will no longer simply be deported, now you can’t leave. Life without parole is a mandatory sentence. And your prison sentence requires you to work.

California spent $24 billion and can’t fix homelessness in their own state. But these guys think $6 billion can solve world hunger.
And according to the UN numbers 343 million people are facing acute hunger. So that $6 billion is less than $18 per person.

You leave the cart and the store has to hire someone to clean up your mess. Your groceries now cost more to cover the cost of hiring people.
You litter in your own streets. Your taxes go up to hire a street sweeper. The tourists see this and follow suit because even the locals don’t respect their own living space. Now you have a garbage city and the tourists stop showing up.
I’m sorry your parents never taught you to clean up after yourself. You aren’t a rebel, you’re a pig living in filth.
Seriously, every single time I’m offloading groceries into my car, I recall that fucking shopping cart 4chan post, and every time I go out of my way to put the shopping cart back.
It’s like, “yes, I am not a savage animal, I can do this” and it’s been like this for over a year.
God damn.

I think it’s funny how people are saying the left needs its own Joe Rogan.
He’s been doing his podcast for the last 15 years and has been building up his influence and audience over that time span, and these lefties think they can just create their own facsimile with just as much influence before the 2028 presidential campaign.
If you want to create a shill for your party that nobody watches you can do that pretty quickly. If you want someone who can compete with Rogan, who’s authentic and interesting it will probably take 10 or more years to become popular among real people.

On this day 80 years ago:
To the U.S.A. Commander of the encircled town of Bastogne.
The fortune of war is changing. This time the U.S.A. forces in and near Bastogne have been encircled by strong German armored units. More German armored units have crossed the river Ourthe near Ortheuville, have taken Marche and reached St. Hubert by passing through Hompre-Sibret-Tillet. Libramont is in German hands.
There is only one possibility to save the encircled U.S.A. troops from total annihilation: that is the honorable surrender of the encircled town. In order to think it over a term of two hours will be granted beginning with the presentation of this note.
If this proposal should be rejected one German Artillery Corps and six heavy A. A. Battalions are ready to annihilate the U.S.A. troops in and near Bastogne. The order for firing will be given immediately after this two hours term.
All the serious civilian losses caused by this artillery fire would not correspond with the well-known American humanity.
The German Commander.
The following reply was given:
To the German Commander.
NUTS!
The American Commander.

I was thinking that maybe voting could be something that is age dependent. Somethings you just don’t get to vote on until you’re a certain age.
“bUt YOu cAnt dO tHAt!”
We already do this. Just because you’ve live to the wise old age of 18 and are considered an adult doesn’t mean you can drink, or smoke, or gamble. And even though you can buy a gun at 18, it’s still illegal to buy a handgun until at least 21.
