“The price he caused” LMAO
Why is it that the people who are blaming Trump for not bringing down the cost of eggs were the same ones blaming the high cost on the greed of corporations a few months ago?

The chickens used for meat are different from egg laying chickens.
Of the 9.5 billion chickens slaughtered, 9.3 billion were broiler chickens for meat. (Link) It’s also worth noting that while 9.3 billion broiler chickens are slaughtered every year they are only about 8-12 weeks old at slaughter. There’s an estimated 1.5 billion broilers in the US at any given time, so the ratio of egg layers to total population is larger than you would expect.
There’s only about 300 million egg laying chickens in the US. That smaller population is more vulnerable to culling because of disease. It also takes longer to build that population back up because egg laying chickens take about 6 months to reach maturity and begin producing eggs.
Chickens can produce approximately 300 eggs per year. If you kill 1000 egg laying chickens, for that 6 months you will lose almost 150,000 eggs.
Over 100 million were killed because of disease. Even if we assume only 1 million of the total culled were egg laying. That would result in 12.5 million fewer cartons of eggs on grocery store shelves in the 6 months it takes for new chickens to mature.
So maybe do some research before running your mouth.

You can tell when someone gets their news from left wing Twitter shills.
Literally one of the first things the new secretary of agriculture did was talk with farmers and invest in ways to reduce the cost of eggs.
Tumblr media
And it’s funny how you think the president just flips a switch and the economy changes over night. Costs have been going up for 4 years but you expect things to be turned around in a month.
Why is it that the people who are blaming Trump for not bringing down the cost of eggs were the same ones blaming the high cost on the greed of corporations a few months ago?

Probably one of the most successful examples of political opponents of the Black Lives Matter movement co-opting a term.
They were using #staywoke as a call to be aware of issues from their political perspective and remain vigilant to perceived attacks on those issues.
As soon as people outside the movement started using it they quickly stopped. But it became a term that was quickly understood to represent all forms of left wing progressive ideology.
Tumblr media
That's exactly how it happened with both. "Woke" is just a 21st century rebranding of political correctness for kids with no knowledge of history. And the term "political correctness" is itself just cultural Marxism/Maoism, based upon the strange new interpretation of the word "correct" first found in Chairman Mao's Little Red Book back in the 1960s.

This has been happening for years. Europe has never had free speech. And I’ve never seen a video of police doing this to any non-European.

By the way you’re about to witness every single leftie and Dem cry about DOGE giving back $5000 dollars back to tax payers.
The same people who have never cared about the national debt.
The same people who supported sending untold billions to foreign countries.
The same people who thought the inflationary Covid stimulus payouts were good.
These people are going to have a meltdown over Americans getting their money back. They don’t want Americans to get any kind of benefits that would help them, and especially if it might make Trump or Elon more popular.

Come to think of it damn near all the things I would do to make the country better involve regulating elected officials and the powers of government.
Balance the federal budget
Anyone holding elected office cannot own stocks
Anyone holding elected office cannot earn more than the median income of their district.
No law may be passed that is longer than 10 pages.
All elected personal shall perform a physical fitness test no fewer than twice annually. Failure to meet standards results in removal from office.
All laws shall expire no later than 10 years after coming into effect. Can be renewed, if passed again.
All bills shall include an attachment that describes the reason for the bill’s necessity. (People forget why something exists once it’s been in place for long enough)
All elected offices shall have term limits
All elected persons shall, without exception, go on trial upon leaving office. An examination of their tenure will commence, and a jury from that district may impose any form of punishment they see fit.
All Federal and State tax collection agencies shall include an itemized list of all tax funded programs to each taxpayer.
