Leftists will often make it very public that they are cutting off their family members.

They talk about how they’re not going to thanksgiving or Christmas after elections because of how their family voted. I’ve seen posts by children cutting off parents, parents cutting off children, siblings refusing to talk to their conservative brothers or sister.

I don’t see conservatives saying the same thing though.

So, who’s more likely to characterize the break in the relationship as an “escape”, the liberal who’s ending contact or the conservative who gets cut off?

Republicans have indoctrinated paternalism to keep the next generation from questioning the flaws, deceptions, and ignorance inherent in conservative politics.

They created some flat, MS paint looking sad excuse of a flag. I liked Utah’s flag for its use of a beehive and “industry” motto. This new rag they’ve adopted is a sad, minimalist, uninspiring, a pointless half assed facsimile of what they had.

Go back to being a proper state. Stop this foolishness, stop trying to modernize for the sake of being “modern”.

Celebrities always want to leave to go to Europe, Canada, Australia or New Zealand. They never want to go to Botswana or Cambodia for some reason.

I think there will probably be a problem with a Dep. of Government Efficiency in the long term. Depending on the power they are given they could be used to cut funding or jobs from projects not based on cost analysis but based on political desires.

It’s something that, in the short term, is needed to curtail the obvious waste happening. Creating a permanent executive department is probably not the way to ensure long term success.

I will say though having Elon Musk in charge of that department is encouraging. He almost immediately cut 80% of jobs from Twitter and the platform is doing just fine.
