It sort of slipped by among all the other outrages. But I want to point that not only did the Vice President of the US say that his boss should intentionally violate court orders, he did it by quoting Andrew Jackson.

The context of that quote? The thing the Supreme Court told Jackson was unconstitutional, but he did it anyway? It was a Georgia state law granting the state legal control over Cherokee lands. The Supreme Court ruled that the United States only has exclusive negotiating rights with Indian nations, not political dominion over them.

Both Georgia and Jackson disregarded this ruling and continued the illegal takeover of Cherokee lands. Eventually culminating in the Cherokee removal, part of the infamous Trail of Tears.

So take it very seriously when Vance quotes this (most likely fictitious) saying. Or when Trump says Jackson is his favorite president. Especially when they're talking about mass deportation, ethnic cleansing of Gaza, and the annexation of other countries.

the thing that’s so pathetic about trump’s zelenskyy hatred is that it clearly all stems from the fact that he wasn’t willing to collude with trump to get dirt on hunter biden during trump’s first term which made trump look like a dipshit and got him impeached and this is only enhanced by the fact that zelenskyy subsequently became an international hero lauded by the institutions trump secretly craves respect from which he will never have

This also happened in 2008 when Russia attacked Georgia and annexed parts of our land btw. The US and Russian governments urged Saakashvili back then to agree to Russia's terms and give Samachablo to Russia in exchange for Russia stopping there and not occupying the rest of Georgia too.

So yes, the US has already negotiated with Russia on behalf of others and we can clearly see how successful their negotiations went when just 6 years later Russia annexed Crimea and then started full scale war in 2022. Negotiating with Russia does NOT work. Russia will NEVER honor any agreement, even if the agreement gives them right to what they shouldn't even have rights to! If anything this makes them even more greedy, like a petulant child.

If anyone is under the impression that, if given Ukrainian territories, Russia is gonna stop and won't go for Poland, Baltics and Germany in the very near future, I would kindly ask you to maybe learn a thing or two from the recent history.

This is an absolutely horrendous situation. All world power concentrated in hands of a handful mean men, which is not new but the amount of wealth they have has never been this great before & frankly I am terrified of the future of the world.
