Better prequel story for Batman would be a Bruce Wayne adventures around the world to find and learn techniques from exotic schools that helped him to become the Batman we knows, in the end facing League of Assasins and Ra's al Ghul still as Bruce Wayne and ending this as Batman.

A mysterious wise mentor meets up with him every once in a while. It's Alfred with a fake beard.
