You know as a socialist I often fear the way I talk about billionares, the industrial complex, capitalism sounds in a way . . . Conspiratorial?

I'm trying to use recognizable definitions to reference abstract concepts and . . . I feel like the English language itself gets in the way if that? I'm not unaware that things that SOUND like socialist theory can be twisted in all kinds of ways, and it's actually kinda hard to communicate past that. Because, though people and their actions do make up systems, systems as a whole more or less manifest as entities unto themselves. The practical output of hundreds of different individual, flawed agendas and limited perspectives colliding with each other in sometimes random, chaotic, and confusing ways. . .

The funny thing about Trump, is that-- like, in a weird way, he is almost like the physical manifestation of that? Like, he is a flesh and blood man of his own interpersonal machinations we all can only speculate at but . . . Of it turned out he was a actually the literal manifested animistic spirit of the industrial complex. A sort of eldritch horror avatar we willed into existence through the power of something believed so hard it came true. . . You know. That would track. You feel me?

Because the way he's accidentally destroying all the institutions of capitalism at break neck speed while also being a figurehead of capitalism itself and all the social I'll it causes the word is a great encompassing of the actual problems with actual capitalism, the conceptual idea itself.

Capitalism operates on the assumption there are winners and losers in life, and that's the natural and correct order of things that cannot be questioned. But, really, there's losers, and even bigger losers. It's why an ACTUAL fully unregulated market burns hot and bright before crashing pretty quickly. It eats itself alive. It's a nation-wide pyramid scheme that runs out of suckers to exploit sooner rather than later.

Billionares are victimized by capitalism too. They're often just the last to do so. And billionares have the nasty habit of not realizing this until it's their turn to pay the piper.

Trump is screwing over his own lobbiests who put him in power. The oligarchy just got going for real and it's already on fire. Elon Musk is now the literal Man in the High Castle and I don't think he's ever been more stressed and miserable. The Heritage foundation is failing successfully. The stock market is crashing. Red states are suffering for what they voted for. MAGA got their monkey's paw wish. The American dream just did something many have tried but no one succeeded at: killed the American Dream.

Trump is not a god. Trump is a guy. None of this is wholly his fault personally. Nothing is almost ever wholly one guy's fault. But damn if he isn't like, the eye of the storm. The most capitalist capitalist who ever capitalismed capitalism. And maybe, if we're lucky, he might just be the death of it.
