Every time someone refers to what’s happening in Palestine as a war a bit of me crumbles inside. This isn’t war. It’s genocide. Call it what it is. Israel is committing genocide and the world is watching and the leaders don’t care. They don’t care about killing Palestinians and given different circumstances they won’t care about killing you.

An impactful video on the shortcomings of moral purity and how in times of war/genocide we must grapple with the painful psychological burden that we can’t save everyone but we can save some people and saving one person is better than saving none.

The US government and Zi*nists really want us all to cheer on genocide. They all really want us to be like "Go, Isr*el!" and be happy that our money is going towards killing thousands, including children. They want us to believe that what H*mas did was equivalent to what Isr*el is doing right now for not only the past 6 months straight but also the last 75 years. If they got rid of all Palestinians they want us to be completely fine with that. They've given a whole new meaning to antisemitism which has nothing to do with actual antisemitism but have absolutely nothing to say about anti-Arab and anti-Muslim sentiment. They, like always, want us to lose our humanity give in to the capitalist colonialist machine and we're not going along with the program.

If I may put on my tinfoil hat for a moment, this is a really opportune time to try banning tik tok and shutting down the Affordable Connectivity Program which sought to provide internet access to low income folks. Our government is quite literally restricting our access to information right as it continues to financially support the genocidal apartheid state of Israel. I take this as a sign they fear the working class and our power. Time to rise up.
