very busy babysitting a duo of kittens (only two months old) the last few days but i shall be drawing when i return home (this includes requests)
and also if anyone wants to see the babies send an ask and i can post them in response hehe i have taken SO many photos
#yew branch#also i just missed a step on the stairs going down and ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow#i am now trapped on the couch until my back stops exploding at least a bit#upside tho is that the kittens are playing together on the couch#sometimes right on my lap!! theyre so so so so cute#i adore them#BUT YEAH i shall be drawing when i return home provided my back allows me to sit upright by that time#bc it sure isnt rn GDJSGJS#im sad ill have to go home tho.. these kittens are some of the cutest beasts alive#life is worth living because every day kittens are playing and having fun#i miiiiiiight be able to indirectly take one#one of my best friends might possibly be able/willing to take one and keep her with her own cat for me#until i move out of my parents house mid next year#so i might get to have... kitten that ive watched grow up from newborns...#the story behind these kittens is that one of my other best friends took in a stray and she turned out to be pregnant#and had these two!!#im also watching the three adult cats in this house but theyre not nearly as much of a handful#as can be imagined this friend is very tired of having 5 cats in the house regardless of how small two of them are GDJSVSN#which is very very understandable#i dont think i would want five cats unless i had a fairly large house. if i had a large house and plenty of free time most of each day#to give them play time and tons of affection#as well as the physical ability to keep up with them all#then id gladly have five cats#who knows maybe someday ill have a nice big house and plenty of spare time and my ddd will be under control#but that doesnt seem likely#aside from ddd being managed! because i have a pain relieving steroid injection tomorrow and then ill be starting physical therapy!!#im excited and i have a lot of hope for at least the physical therapy to help#PLUS THEY HAVE A POOL FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY!!!!!!! AND I LOVE SWIMMING ESPECIALLY AS A GENTLE WORKOUT#and low impact things are very important for my body specifically i cant do high impact exercise or itll hurt me#plus i just love being in water i swear i was meant to be an aquatic elf from dnd

i do not think about how i had no concrete health issues after thesis. i do not think abt how the moment i started working out again i got 17 caution pop-ups across my body. i do not think about how i did not have wrist pain on main until i overplayed hades one night in december & how getting covid & then christmas prevented me from seeking immediate treatment until a full month in. i am going to cryscreamdie if i think about it

❤︎₊ ⊹ studying is soo important and sometimes dis0rdered eating gets in the way, so we have to do everything we can to avoid brain fog while maintaining high grades!
tips:
make sure you’re getting enough electrolytes! you can do that by drinking lots of sparkling water (or if you don't like the taste of sparkling, mix electrolyte packets into water)
eat nutritious foods! some good l0w cāl options are fruits and veggies, eggs, berries, and more
sleep is soo important to keep your brain running!! try to get at least 9 hours or more every night + sleeping helps with avoiding f00d cravings!
even if you don’t eat the rest of the day, you need to have a protein rich breakfast! that way, you’ll have plenty of energy and your blood sugar will remain low, so you’ll feel satisfied for longer
exercise is a must! every time you feel braing f0g coming, go on a walk!! you have to move your body, whether it's for 10 minutes or an hour (more on that below)
caffeine is your best friend! drink your coffee without sugar, but feel free to add a pinch of cinnamon instead!! if you don't like your coffee black, pour in some milk (either almond, coconut, or oat)
dress warm and comfortable!! being sk1nny means being cold all the time and you don't want to get sick!
don't beat yourself up for e4ting. we all make mistakes and sometimes we have to listen to our bodies and prioritise our wellbeing. just do better next time.

or maybe just stretch your neck, roll your shoulders, and take a few deep breaths. whatever you’re ready to do :)

even though we’re a little bit down, that doesn’t mean we can cheat on the promises and boundaries we made with ourselves.
a low energy day doesn’t mean you can jump right back into your old habits. you’ll only feel worse if you do. it can be comforting to spend the whole day in bed, liking relatable TikToks and having a 7 hour screen time. but that’s not real rest. do something that’ll nourish you while also making you feel relaxed and comfortable. whether that’s watching an episode of your comfort show, rereading a chapter of your favorite book, or listening to your all time favorite songs while you just relax.
low energy is not a reason to practice unhealthy bad habits.

On Becoming Better

A sign of positive change as you religiously follow your routine is this: your body automatically does the “habit” required in your routine.
it becomes a habit to clean up, instead of putting it off for later. it becomes a habit to pick up your book as you get into bed at night. it becomes a habit to eat a fruit in the mornings, and to do a simple 30 minute exercise.
you won’t feel like an “IT girl” at any point in the beginning. In fact, you might feel demotivated, lethargic, you might find yourself making excuses to not accomplish your daily goals. But the feeling of being put together, of feeling like you’re finally Her, comes as you consistently and diligently look after yourself. This will take time.
even if you’re practicing just being more social / feminine, that’ll take time. An example - I have these beautiful Jimmy Choo heels that are honestly, hell to walk in. I barely ever wore them and whenever I did, I felt like a chunky Godzilla monkey clanking down the stairs - I just didn’t feel ladylike. then one day, I came across this video of a lady showing exactly how one walks in heels. And boy, was that a game changer. I actually wrote her advice down and began practicing walking in heels every night, starting with a shorter heel height. in time, those heels have become one of the comfiest heels I own. I absolutely love them, and I get endless compliments. I began wearing kitten heels at work because somehow, they made me feel confident, yet feminine - and I felt a lot more put together than wearing flats.
Another example is using my Orai speaking app. It helps me so much with impromptu speaking! I love doing their little public speaking exercises. After two weeks of using it, I noticed a confidence boost in my presentation and talking skills, especially at work. I combined that with learning new words and I feel like my communication has improved significantly.
One last example is my Sweat app. I hate working out for more than 40 mins, I just can’t do it. I hate using crazy heavy weights too. With Sweat, I can workout for about 30 mins, select a fantastic low impact workout, feel amazing after, not be ridiculously sore the next day - and I’ve been seeing increased muscle definition. I was at a party the other day and whilst I was in the bathroom I suddenly noticed how toned my arms had gotten.
what this example shows is that taking little steps towards any goal you have - big or small - and practicing religiously helps a lot. And selecting the method that works for you. Lifting heavy weights works for some girls, not for me. My boyfriend keeps trying to “build” my workouts and I’ve flat out told him no, I’m doing it my way because it’s just what works for me.

hi lovely! i’m so glad my posts have helped you. most of the videos i’m going to be posting in the near future are likely going to be beginner friendly because i have had a flare up of inflammation in my shoulder, so i will not be going too hard for a bit. the videos that will work for you will vary from mine and anyone else’s, so the actual videos you do are really up to you and how you’re feeling day to day. however, i can suggest a split for you to try and give you some tips and channel recommendations!
split:
monday: full body strength
- if you have joint issues, strength training can definitely help with that! just make sure that you are doing low-impact exercises to keep pressure off of your joints. madfit and heather robertson have a lot of these types of videos, both with equipment and without! you can also do pilates for this if you feel it will benefit you better, and i have a beginner pilates routine masterlist posted.
tuesday: cardio & mobility
- same as monday, just be sure that you are doing low-impact exercises for cardio. i have a masterlist for cardio routines as well in case you need some recommendations. for mobility, i recommend heather robertson and julia.reppel on youtube. mobility is great for improving joint health!
wednesday: lower body
- you can really do any form of strength training here, with or without weights, pilates, etc. i have a lower body masterlist up as well, but i would recommend trying some mat/lying workouts to build up some muscle before moving into more intense exercises for lower body day. i have a couple of those masterlists posted as well!
thursday: active recovery
- this can include so many things, including mobility, stretching, yoga, walking, or anything else you can do that is gentle on your body. again, i love heather robertson’s active recovery routines.
friday: upper body
- if you have joint issues in your upper body, i would be gentle on upper body days, meaning just don’t push yourself too hard and if a movement doesn’t feel good or causes you pain, stop. emi wong and hailey c. have great upper body workouts that do not require any equipment.
saturday: cardio & core work
- same thing with the low-impact cardio. core work has so many benefits and is great for stabilizing your spine and, in turn, reducing the risk of injury to your joints. madfit has a lot of ab workouts, but you can really find them on any workout channel you like!
sunday: rest or active recovery
NOTE: please make sure, especially if you’re a beginner, that you are stretching after each workout! this will reduce soreness and risk of injury.

🎀 Kazuha starts her days by getting straight out of bed! You can take a few minutes just to think about your dreams or to meditate but after you're done get up without thinking so you avoid lazyness. After, head to the bathroom to do your hygiene routine (washing your teeth, face, body, etc.)
After you do your skincare, it's time for makeup, if i had to describe Zuha’s makeup in a few words i would use ‘natural’ ‘light’ and ‘clean’, even tho she uses as many products as other idols I've already talked about (brow pencil, eyeshadow, base makeup, contour, lashes, eyeliner, blush and lip tint), her makeup still pretty much simple, like just to enhance her natural features.

To learn and practice her Korean, Kazuha reviews vocabulary daily, using it on small phrases to memorize their meaning. As a visual learner, she also associates words with drawings and writes in her notebook often.

Before taking your shower, take off your makeup with micellar water or an oil based cleanser. Then bath like you would normally do, but start your shower with lukewarm water and finish with a cold rinse!

Now for self care, Zuha enjoys spending time doing diamond paintings or other kinds of diys, like decorating phone cases. She also videocalls her friends often in her free time, spending time with friends really helps with our mental health! You can also try and make little handmade gifts for your besties.

👛 Then she does her last review on the things she's studying, doing this before going to sleep helps you remember it better.
If she's with the members she will obviously watch a scary movie and have fun with her friends before going to bed!

The Charlie Slimecicle Snacks, Diet, Skincare, Daily Supplements, And Workout RoutineTM
Be warned, it is VERY LONG.
SNACKS:
IF BIG HUNGRY
- Get 1 and 1/2 pound of ground chicken
-if still hungry, get another one
-can put in low fat tortilla, add cheese, spinach, ect.
IF SMALL HUNGRY
-Must be Greek yogurt, MAX three times a day, because one time you had too many and your tummy hurt and you kept doing it and your mom said you had to stop
-can add fruit and chia seeds
-if small hungry but you have already consumed 3 yogurts, then handful of nut
-if still hungry, but not enough for ground chicken, enter post-yogurt, pre chicken gathering, aka squirrel mode
-squirrel mode until you are hungry enough for big chicken
EVERYTIME YOU NEED GAS FOR YOUR CAR
-Go into gas station, find refrigerator, find healthy section
-Grab packet of two wet hard-boiled eggs, preferably with salt, if no salt, you can get packet of salt from the little table
-If sad at gas station, get breakfast sandwich, look at eggs, 50% chance to get eggs, you will know if you want them or not, but even if not, look at them
-Every second wednesday, when driving back from therapy, get muffin
-not every wednesday get muffin, but always get eggs
-look around to see if in sweet or salty mood, then go get the eggs-protein chips
POST WORKOUT
-Once a week, after workout, treat time
-usually a bagel
- Asiago bagel, egg, bellpepper, ham, Chipotle mayo, and chedder cheese

SKINCARE:
-every morning and night
-apply gentle foaming cleanser
-must be specific to you, must work for your skin
-once or twice a week, use exfoliating cleanser
-for night specifically:
-apply retinol serum one every 2-3 days-apply 25 hrs peptide moisturizer, not too much, can cause breakout
-use a Vaseline like substance on cracked or dry spots, including lips
-for morning specifically:
-use vitamin c serum, paying extra attention to the space under your eyes and any discolored patches
-after, use green tea face mask to release toxins, refreshing but unreliable and unsustainable
DAILY SUPPLEMENTS:
-step one, two multi viramine gummies
-Allegra, for anti inflammatory benefits and allergies
-orange flavored vitamin c gummies
-2 for 500 milligrams, 4, if on trip, for 1000 milligrams
-difficult to overdose on vitamin c, don't worry about it
-take 1 fish oil pill for cognitive function and slipperyness
-last one, a peach vitamin d gummy (best flavor)
-if experiencing difficulties with nails and/or hair, or are without access to biotin shampoo, use biotin gummies for nails and hair
-people will say that multivitamins and vitamins in general, are a scam unless you are vitamin deficit
-scientifically, they are right, however, they taste gummy good
WORKOUT ROUTINE:
-it is important to keep consistentcy in your workout routine plan
-pick a 12 week routine
-beginner if you're a beginner, intermediate if you're intermediate, and advanced if you have done other routines in the past
-stick with it with for the duration before you make any hasty judgments on its impact
-comes in 3 sets, A, B, and C, swithing every four weeks to make sure your body doesn't get used to any one specific movement or routine
-Workout A of weeks 1-4-3x hip thrust
-barbell, free if available, Smith machine if no other option
-3 seated row-cable
-three barbell full squat
-3 bench press
-barbell-reps dependant, 8 if high weight, 12 if lower weight
-if you can do 12, move up weight and do 8-3 good morning, then barbell-plank-plank-plank-dumbell side bend-band standing abduction

-Workouts B 1-4, C 1-4, A 5-8, B 5-8, C 5-8, A 9-12, B 9-12, and C 9-12

🫶🏻 i’ve been gaining a lot of fat recently, and my routines have been been pretty inconsistent too. that’s why i decided to start this “diary” like project to get myself motivated to focus on myself again!
🫶🏻 i kind of decided to start this in the middle of the day, so i didn’t do everything i would’ve wanted to. but i think this is pretty good for the first day!

Updated Workouts 🎀
I have been out of the gym for so long. My schedule last semester did not allow it, but when I leave to Colorado in June, I'll be staying somewhere that has its own little gym, and next semester I'll have more access to the university gym as well. I've been doing at home workouts lately! Here's how I structure my workouts throughout the week, and some extra info about my current fitness!

So, as you can see, I currently follow YouTube pilates workouts. I will make a list of my favorite workout youtbers on my main blog soon! I prefer low impact workouts at the moment but will switch it up a bit once I am in Colorado.
💕 Some extra stuff for my fitness:
I try to walk 5k to 10k steps a day, whether that be going outside or doing a walking workout in my bedroom
I do all of my workouts in the morning almost right after i get up in the morning. It eliminates obstacles and helps me do something active during the day
I am going to add more stretching into my routine, especially for my legs. I have pretty stiff muscles, and as someone who'd love to be able to do the spilts, I need to start stretching.
I have a foam roller, but it isn't one of the ones with the bumps on it that really helps the muscles, and I'm going to buy one as soon as possible.
I also am going to start using my massage gun on my legs because I've been so sore and again, stiff, and I think it'll be so useful to just use it on my legs at night. It might even help me sleep better.
Sleep!! I have been sleeping 6 to 8 hours a night consistently, and it's so nice. I feel like I can function so much better, and on the days I get closer to 7 hours of sleep, I feel so good when I wake up and can really get to my morning workouts.
I've switched up my diet a bit and eat healthier (in a sustainable way), and it's also helped me with my fitness too! it really makes a difference with what you put in your body! Food is fuel and food is great!
Always open to fitness and health related questions! Please don't forget I am 3 years into my nutrition and dietetics degree, as well as minoring in psyc and exercise science (also have a 2nd major in finance, but that's irrelevant to health). I also research health and fitness topics for fun. I'm not saying I'm the most credible whatsoever, but I do have some idea of what I'm talking about and am always open to questions or even advice you could give me!

The atmosphere in the briefing room was thick with sorrow, each member of the team carried the weight of their loss, it was a heavy burden. Natasha, Steve, Banner, and Rhodey sat in silence, exchanging somber looks as they came together to discuss what needed to be done next. 
As they waited for you to join them, there was a noticeable sense of uncertainty. You hadn’t left your room in the month since the Snap, the grief had consumed you like a relentless tide. They had no expectations on your arrival, there was no hope that you would find the strength to join them. 
Yet, to their surprise and also their relief, the door creaked open, and you stepped inside.
Your appearance was a stark reflection of the grief you carried. Your eyes hollow, your shoulders slumped, and your face paled with the pain. It was as if the weight of the universe had settled on your shoulders, it was crushing you.
Steve’s voice broke the silence, he stood at the head of the table, his voice heavy with emotion as he spoke. “We’re glad you could join us,” he said softly, you could hear the relief in his voice. It was rare that he got to see you these days. 
You managed to direct a weak nod in response to him, your throat was tight with unshed tears. The concern that etched your friends and family’s faces only served to deepen the ache in your chest. 
As the meeting began, the discussion turned into plans for the future - how to rebuild what had been lost and how you help those who had been affected. Each word felt like a knife to the heart, a painful reminder of how you were one of the affected.
“We need to focus on finding a way to provide support to those who have lost,” Natasha said, her voice determined. “They need to know they’re not alone,” 
Banner nodded in agreement, “We need to consider the long-term effects of the snap, too,” he added. “The psychological impact.” You couldn’t help but notice his gaze land on you at that moment.
Rhodey chimed in, his voice steady. “We’ll need to work closely with the remaining governments and aid organizations, make sure resources are allocated where needed,” he said.
The meeting dragged on, tears had been threatening to spill from your eyes since you sat in your old usual spot. You weren’t focused on what they were saying, memories of happier times flooded your mind, each one a cruel reminder of what you lost.
Drawing to a close, everyone began to leave the briefing room. You couldn’t help but feel a sense of overwhelming loneliness wash over you. Despite being only a few feet away from friends and family, you felt utterly alone. 
Tears finally spilled down your cheeks, unchecked and unstoppable as the last of them left you sitting at the table.

You remembered the first time you laid eyes on him, The Winter Soldier, your memory was as vivid as if it was yesterday. You were just a child, barely old enough to understand the world beyond the Red Room. Yet, even then, something about the large and mysterious man set him apart from the others. 
You had heard the whispers of his existence long before you ever saw him - the tales of a silent assassin who moved like a ghost were told in the girl's room after lights out. 
It was a cold, dreary day in the Red Room, it felt like it was being stretched on forever. You were alone on the training grounds, going through the motions of another grueling session. An intense workout on your small young body. He appeared before you as he silently spectated your movements. 
“I’ll be your trainer from now on,” his voice was low, almost monotone, yet it carried a demanding tone. 
At first, you froze in place, a mixture of fear and curiosity coursed through you. His movements were calculated and precise. Yet, beneath the facade of his programming, you sensed a flicker of something more. As a child, you sensed the spark of humanity that refused to be taken from him. 
As he began guiding you through the drills, he commanded with authority. “Stand straight, shoulders back.”
“Yes, Soldat,” you responded, straightening your posture as best as you could. 
His touch was firm but gentle, his instructions clear, you noticed how he never once fought back with his left arm. “You’re hesitating,” he observed.
“I, um, I’m sorry,” your small voice stammered, embarrassment rushed through you at your inability to keep up with his speed. 
“Focus,” he urged, you noticed the slight softening of his voice. For a moment, you saw your reflection in his eyes, a mirror image of the child you used to be before the Red Room stole you away and replaced your innocence with something darker. 
From that day forward, the Winter Soldier became more than just a trainer to you. He became your protector and silent companion. “You have potential,” he once remarked, his words causing pride and confidence to course through you for the first time. 
And though your time training with him was fleeting, the memory of him lingered long after you had completed your training and he vanished back into the shadows.

You sat alone in your room, you still couldn’t believe you were back after over two years. It hadn’t changed since the morning you left with Natasha. Staring out the window, watching the raindrops race down the pane, you lost yourself in a sea of memories. Each one was a bittersweet reminder of what once was. The ache had yet to dull in your heart, the emptiness of lost companions. 
A sudden sound of gentle knocking on your door startled you. Blinking away the haze of sadness, you rose from your windowsill and made your way toward the door. You were met with the warm smile of your sister, Natasha, as you opened it. Her presence was a beacon of light in the darkness that had consumed you over the last month. 
“Hey,” she greeted, her voice a soothing tone that cut through the heaviness of the room. “Mind if I come in?” 
You shook your head, stepping aside to let her come in. She crossed the threshold, her eyes filled with a mixture of concern as she took in your teary eyes and the growing mess taking over your once gleaming room. 
“Have you found her?” you asked with a slight sense of hope in your voice.
Natasha’s expression faltered at your question, a shadow passed over her features. “She’s gone, too” she replied gently, her voice filled with regret. 
You nodded, a disappointing weight settling heavily in your chest. For weeks, you had searched tirelessly for any sign of your other sister, Yelena. Clinging to the hope that she was still out there somewhere, not vanished. 
Your sister moved closer, wrapping her arms around you in a comforting embrace. “I’m sorry,” she whispered. She placed a soft kiss on the top of your head as your arms wrapped around her waist. “I know it hurts.”
“I just can’t believe they’re gone,” you admitted, your voice trembled as your eyes began to fill with tears again. “Yelena, Wanda, Sam, Bucky…”
“I know,” Natasha murmured as her grip tightened around you slightly. “But we’re still here, we have each other.” 
You nodded, the tears spilling down your cheeks. “I don’t know what I’d do without you,” you confessed, grateful that you still had your eldest sister here with you and having her unwavering support.
As Natasha pulled back, her smile softened and her hands came up to cup your cheeks, wiping away the stray tears with her thumbs. “Just promise me one thing,” she said softly.
“What is it?” you asked, curious at the serious tone in her voice.
“Promise me,” her voice wavered slightly. “You’ll remember that you’re never truly alone, even if I’m not here to remind you.” Her eyes bore into yours, sending a chill down your spine. Her eyes were full of knowing as if she knew something you didn’t.
You furrowed your brow, sniffling as the tears continued to spill. “I promise,” you replied.
