It’s time for another HMC Book version sketch ✨

Today I bring you this early concept of the Hatter’s Family that I made few month ago!

I tried to make it look like an old photo, but I was too lazy do it properly🥴

There is a musical issue in Gotham (again)

At the Batcave

Stephanie (just walking in): Sorry it took me so long

Tim: Ooh Steph, you’ll never believe what happened

Stephanie: No, I know

Tim: There’s a musical curse over Gotham

Stephanie: Yeah, I know

Tim: And you’ll never believe who did it

Stephanie: That Hatter?

Tim: The Hatter!

Stephanie: Yeah, I know!

Tim: Ooh, Steph, you’ll never believe how he did it

Stephanie: The speakers!

Tim: He took control of the speakers

Stephanie: Yeah, I know!

Tim and Stephanie: And then put up a weird kind of frequency and now we have to sing!

Stephanie: Tim!

Tim: Yeah?

Stephanie: (signs) Thanks for filling me in

Mad Hatter (with genuine enthusiasm): I like your riddles.

Riddler (taken aback, raising an eyebrow): What?

Mad Hatter (smiling broadly): Your riddles. I like them. Sometimes, they're so nonsensical that once you figure them out, they still fester in the mind. It’s amazing how they leave the victim stumped, wondering how they couldn’t figure it out. I truly admire your riddles.

Riddler (grinning, clearly pleased): And I like you. Mad Hatter, right?

Mad Hatter (nodding, adjusting his hat): That’s the name you know me by. And you’re Edward Nygma. Quite a fascinating name, I must say.

Riddler (sighing, playfully rolling his eyes): Oh boy, here we go.

Mad Hatter (leaning in conspiratorially): Another thing I like about you.

Riddler (smirking): We’re teaming up when I break out of here.

As they spoke, Scarecrow walked past the two, clutching a plastic cup filled with tea.

Scarecrow (scoffing, voice dripping with disdain): Bleeding idiots.

Mad Hatter (whispering to Riddler, eyes wide with amusement): He doesn’t like me. I think he’s rather mad, but not in a fun way.

Riddler (agreeing): Oh my God, same.

everyone always talks about the potential Ever After High and Monster High crossover (ignoring The Legend of Shadow High for obvious reasons) but nobody is ready to hear about the inherent genius that would be an Ever After High crossover with Equestria Girls.

main characters alone, Sunset Shimmer and Raven Queen would be the best team up.

Update on the mad hatter kidnapping Stephanie Brown: she escaped. By the time the batfamily and the police got there she had tetch tied up to a chair and was just waiting for the police. When I asked how she escaped, she said “I grew up in Gotham with a B list villain for a dad. Getting out of this was nothing compared to the other stuff I’ve been through.”
