this should fall under some sort of unlawful misconduct yet somehow it doesn't and that fucking vexes me.
everyone around me likes to make fun of how if i ever get my driver's license and am in a position to buy a car, i'm going for an old car. i absolutely fucking REFUSE to let a car track me and sell my goddamn data and info when my phone and multiple fucking websites do that already!
i hate companies that do this shit and they should all be burned. fuck this shit.

Will always remember the time I went to a burger place and got their super big burger and the cute cashier lady just kinda looked at me a little skeptically and raised 4 fingers and was like “that’s 4 patties…”
Honestly I don’t remember what happened after that cause my brain turned to mush but I think I just nodded like a dumb pig in response cause yeah gimmie da big fat boy ball gut burger please 😬
But Umf, having someone be like “damn that’s a lot of food” is the hottest thing ever cause like “fuck yeah it’s a ton of fucking food, and it’s all going to be stuffed right in my big round gut soon so it’s gonna look nuts”

#all very obvious points and yet our fandom deliberately misunderstands Albus to villainize him #this is why all fanfics that have other character(s) pulling a ''solution'' to the big issues of the series out of their ass(es) fall flat #he is literally one of the more brilliant and humane characters in the series. if these solutions were available Albus would do them first
The thing that stands out the most to me is the idea that 'Albus always intended Harry to have to die; a pig for slaughter' When the entire story is of him very desperately trying to keep Harry alive. Risking everything just to try and find a way to save him.
People act like Harry coming back to life after Voldemort killed him was always going to happen. It wasn't. Albus clawed for that. Even if he wanted Harry specifically to deal with the Horcrux's for whatever reason - there was no reason to try and bring him back.
The man who has always struggled with love, who studies it as a scholar, who keeps everyone at arms length fought tooth and nail to mechanically replicate the magical miracle of Harry's mother. Harry Potter was the boy who lived TWICE - once from his mothers effortless love and once from Albus's dedicated love.
The reasons to kill Harry, or simply let him die, outweigh keeping him alive. There are points where simply taking Harry out back and shooting him would have been a stronger strategic move. Where Harry is more of a risk than a help. A complication. And yet his life is consistently put OVER the lives of others.
And people wonder why. Why does Albus act so strangely, sheltering and protective, considering Harry HAS to face darkness and die...? They think up elaborate reasons for Albus to have micro-managed every single little thing, making Harry live in The Truman Show. Or they have every decision be so needlessly risky and stupid that it's insane anyone has any faith in him whatsoever. And those theories can be fun. Hagrid is a Death Eater type stuff. But the books give us a far more compelling canon answer:
Because he fell in love with Harry. He goes into detail about his thoughts, even when they are irrational and embarrassing, that he never expected to love Harry this much. It all lines up. His choices, his mistakes, his plans and his hasty decisions... Harry thawed his cold logic, his frozen heart.
But there's such a prevalent 'Buzzfeed top 10 reasons why Albus is actually the villain Number 8 - he left Harry with his next of kin' train of thought that every action, no matter how small, is considered deeply manipulative - and every actually manipulative action has no depth. To the detriment of all characters and the story as a whole.
Why is it always “Dumbledore is my fave” or “Dumbledore is abusive” and never “Dumbledore is so fucking afraid of letting another dark wizard come to power that he channels his own darkness into training a human weapon from childhood to fight the darkness that he knows he can’t while pretending to be the wise wizard mentor that he wishes he actually was wow that is a super fascinating character and we should write all the fanfiction about it?”

WHAT DO U THINK ABT ECLIPSE BEING A SOFTIE TO JAKE AND ANDREW IN THE NEW EAPS EP??
I’M SCREAMING AND CRYING.
I JUST WATCHED IT / AM LITERALLY WATCHING AS I TYPE THIS. || ALL LOVE / NO HATE
I ALWAYS KNEW ECLIPSE WOULD BE A GOOD DAD. I ALWAYS FUCKING KNEW. MY OWN WRITING AND AU’S FORETOLD THIS. ECLIPSE IS SO FUCKING SWEET OH MY GOD.
I’VE COME TO A REALIZATION. ECLIPSE IS GOING THROUGH A METAPHORICAL SERIES OF TRIALS THAT IMPROVES HIMSELF AND THE LIVES OF OTHERS. AND ALL OF THEM DIRECTLY REFLECT HIMSELF AND HIS TRAUMA.
Level One Exposure Therapy.
He had to get Sun and Moon to stop fighting each other so they’d learn to share the body without having to split or suppress. It was successful, now they can switch in and out at will and are willingly giving each other their turns. They’re even learning more about themselves such as “hibernation”, or more accurately, dormancy.
Sun and Moon was the whole reason any Eclipse’s existed. Their willingness to work with each other and themselves dictate what will happen when an Eclipse is created. Because of the natural hatred and fear between the two, a negative Eclipse is always created. But, it seems, we are creating a Ruin. A Ruin would be FAR, FAR GREATER than an Eclipse. It’d be like…gaining a younger brother. Metaphorically.
Level Two Exposure Therapy
Andrew, the dead ghost child. The haunting one, to be specific. He’s like a little miniature version of Eclipse, being a little selfish prick that demands things while making fun of Eclipse as he does. Creating a body for him will allow him to finally interact with others, to gain real relationships and learn to live as the undead,
Level Three Exposure Therapy
Facing the two Andrew’s is like facing his literal inner child, if he had one. In reality’s case, it’d be called V0/V1 Eclipse. The Andrew stuck with Jake is just suffering as he once did and is developing that same anger and hate that Eclipse once had, and is trying to stop it before Jake becomes a monster as he would in the other universes.
On top of that, Jake didn’t deserve to die. Eclipse understood that far more than he realizes. Now, he’s trying to break the laws of life and death to give Jake AND ANDREW another chance to be happy.
He knows it’s possible to give them both a moderate and healthy control, because he did this once before— with Sun and Moon.
ALSO THE CONVERSATIONS GOING ON BETWEEN ECLIPSE AND MONTY?! CAN WE DISCUSS THIS?!
“The Eclipse I knew never would’ve stepped in, if anything, he probably would’ve probably egged me on to smack his head off. So what’s happening with you, then? Making you change and all this…well, malarky?”
“I just…didn’t want you to hurt ‘em.”
“That’s it?”
“I could ask you the same thing, Gator. With you and Earth…”
(1.) MONTY TAKING NOTICE OF ECLIPSE’S CHANGE, THEN MENTIONING IT BACK TO HIM AS THEY COMPARE EACH OTHER AND THEIR ISSUES.
(2.) MONTY ASKING WHAT’S GOING ON, AND FOR /ONCE/, ECLIPSE /EXPLAINS/ WHATS GOING ON AND /DOESN’T GET SHIT ON/,HE /DOESN’T/ GET YELLED AT, AND HE /DOESN’T/ GET INTERRUPTED?! AND THEN MONTY /BUILDS/ ON HIS ANSWER TO SHOW THAT HE LISTENED?!?!?! One of the biggest issues with Eclipse’s interactions is that everytime someone asks “why are you doing this” or “what is actually wrong with you, explain it”, Eclipse TRIES to, and then they SHUT HIM DOWN, PUT WORDS IN HIS MOUTH, AND THEN CALL HIM USELESS AND GIVES HIM ANOTHER REASON TO INVEST IN CEMENT BOOTS AT THE LOCAL LAKE. LIKE WHAAAT!!!!!
(3.) ECLIPSE SHOWING EMPATHY, COMPASSION, AND WORRY FOR STITCHWRAITH. TRAITS WE HAVE /NEVER/ SEEN BEFORE IN THIS MAN!
(4.) MONTY KNOWS ECLIPSE IS HIDING MORE. /I/ KNOW HE’S HIDING MORE. HE’S IN FUCKING DENIAL!!!! I’M IN FUCKING DENIAL!! ECLIPSE AND ME HAVE NEVER STOPPED SHARING BRAINCELLS FOR 2 SECONDS OVER THE COURSE OF 2 YEARS OH MY GOD.
(5.) ECLIPSE,POKING AT THEIR RELATIONSHIP. MENTIONING EARTH. OH MY LORD-ECLIPSE. HOLY BALLS. I love it when Eclipse just MENTIONS Earth and my 32 braincells goes wild in the stadiums watching through my eyes that are watching the screen.
I can unpack SO MANY THINGS FROM JUST ONE QUOTE ITS DRIVING ME INSANE!
No, because when I heard this, I sat up. I fixed my posture. I looked ahead. I was at attention. I was READY. I GAINED CONSCIOUSNESS DUDE.

Ghost AU
Okay so I had an idea for an IDV AU. It's inspired by BBC Ghosts.
Alice works as an investigative journalist in modern days, but is a little down on her luck with getting cases. One day she finds out that she has inherited an estate called Oletus Manor from a distant family member. Apparently she is the last remaining DeRoss, and thus is the rightful owner of the manor.
Seeing she wouldn't have to pay rent living there, she decides to move out of her apartment and into the estate. However, she soon finds out that the manor is in quite a dilapidated state and would need a lot of restoration. There are some old furniture here and there, but it doesn't seem like anyone has lived there for ages. Still, she brings her belongings in and does some quick repairs, making it her new home. She tried to do some research of the manor's history, but couldn't find much about it.
What she doesn't realise is that her new home is full to the brim with ghosts; basically all the other playable characters. Long ago they had died during the manor games, and their spirits are all trapped within the confines of the property. They are not happy having Alice move into their territory and disturb their peace, and are doing their best to drive her away. That proves to be challenging as ghosts.
Alice cannot see the ghosts at first. There are a couple of strange occurrences, things seemingly switching places, noises coming from here and there etc. Alice, being a skeptic towards the supernatural, chokes this up to her misplacing things and that the house is old.
Then one day, Alice gets into an accident and becomes dead for half a minute or so, but gets resurrected again at the ER. Once she returns back to the manor, she can suddenly see and hear all the ghosts. Of course, she is shocked, confused and horrified over finding her home full of strangers who are dressed in old-timey attire. She goes through the motion of first thinking they are trespasser, which gets debunked as soon as she practically sticks her hand through one of them. Then she thinks she is hallucinating and tries to ignore them, but it gets harder and harder to deny that what she is seeing is real, and that there really are more between heaven and earth.
Meanwhile, the ghosts are still trying to drive her away, but soon more and more of them feel relieved to finally be seen by a living person, and they become hopeful that Alice might be able to help them. Something is keeping them in the manor and preventing their souls from moving on. They are convinced that Alice can solve this mystery and free their souls so they can finally rest.
Eventually, Alice comes to terms with her predicament of living in a haunted house, and she sits down with the ghosts and they start to talk things out. They make a deal; Alice will help them free their souls so they can move on, and she can have the manor for herself in return.
Alice starts digging deeper to find any information about the manor with the help of the ghosts. She also manages to retrieve information about each individual in various records and files as they seem to have lost some of their memories from staying in this place for so long.
The ghosts learn more about the modern world from Alice and are fascinated by all the innovations and changes (the image of them being in utter awe at anything with a screen is just too adorable. They can finally get some entertainment in their otherwise stagnant days).
Over time, Alice grows closer with the ghosts, and she comes to really like her new friends; of course, some are easier to get through to than others. While she befriends many, there are some who are still skeptical and cold towards her. But with patience, respect and kindness, they eventually warm up to her ever so slightly.

Thinking about farmer Vic and that “chosen and dark destroying his village” hc….
Just got such a specific visual. He wakes up in a field to some chicken pecking him awake. He’s never seen something like that before so he’s alarmed and confused but he doesn’t have the energy to fight back. All the chickens do is cuddle up next to him. Just the very first gesture of kindness he’s ever gotten
He spends a bit following the chickens around after he gets the energy to walk. Sometimes they fly into his arms and he tosses them. It’s a game they like. Eventually the rancher and some of the people spot him and are instantly alarmed because random guy who looks beat up and horrible and like nothing they’ve seen before
But the chickens like him. They trust him. And when he sees them he also gets alarmed and tries protecting the chickens from them. Eventually things settle and they just accept victim. Nobody’s super happy about it, but tolerating is a kindness when compared to everything victim has faced
Just slowly rebuilding his life. Learning how things work out here, free of cursors. Eventually he gets gifted a few fertile eggs of the chickens that found him. He still has scars, he’s still angry, but so are the people he’s with. Soon he learns to talk outside of symbols and can properly rant alongside them, sometimes just laughing about how absurd it all is
And in just. One fucking day it’s all taken from him. From people who look like him. The only others he’s seen who look like him. And they have unstoppable fuckin powers and just in one moment everything is gone. A lot of people don’t make it out, he almost doesn’t cause he tries saving as much as what he can (and because maybe if they have abilities like that, maybe he does to. Maybe he can protect it all). Somebody drags him out.
Nobody’s looking at him. There’s a fraction of the people left that he knew. A fraction of the town left. It’s bad. Extremely bad.
But he’s willing to help rebuild and then they tell him he can’t stay
They don’t know what happened. But this only happened after he stayed. And he has their same face. They can’t be sure if they were looking for him or attempted to kill him or what, but it’s something they cannot risk.
So he has to go

Tbh if warframes are gonna eat or get nutrients i think it would be more like v1 where you just splash blood or something on them
Its just like watering plants, but instead of green, pure, silver-grove-approved plants its infestation. I mean it looks kinda like the same thing right? Maybe more like fungus or parasite kinda thing but you get the idea.

Media Representation and (a rant on) Draconity
I think it's natural to want to find something within the media that represent and reflects yourself. As a dragon, the option might seem like quite a few within various sources of media, but the realities are that I and my various alterhuman identities are not the typical or commonly seen dragons.
As myself, I'm orange, furred, white feathered wings, yellow horns, and the vibrant red belly. Those are not things you find common in animals, even amongst birds, that's some colors that don't exactly flow together. People drawn inspiration from around their world to create, people are also creature of comfort and habit--with the idea of dragon being "fire breathing, bat winged, scaly lizard" or "scale with mane, elemental control and sometimes deity, serpentine wyrm", and then variations based off of that, perhaps scaled beast with feathery wings, or great furred wyrm with webbed wings and fire breathing. Seriously what is with the fire breathing? Have I mention that I'm a shapeshifting sort of dragon? While that is often tied to the eastern sort of draconic beings, my exact combination of dragons are far and few in between. Even the dutch angel dragon within the furry community has certain limitation and character traits that don't align with me. If I hadn't got turned off by the idea of looking anywhere or being misidentify as a horse, I might have find myself drawn to the dutch angel dragon as a sort of maybe paratype, or just friendly dragons that I share similar traits with. But alas.
Every single piece of media or fictional source that has a representation I can find brings me joy. Games centered on collecting dragons like Flight Rising or Dragon Cave does a great job of acknowledging that diversity. I get especially grumpy when dragon maker only has webbed wings and scaly body. At one point I really did not want to put the 3D dragon maker by Dragonita on my Alterhuman Shifts and Self Discovery Tools guide (ohh, guess I finally got a name). You can call me petty however you want, but I was not very happy of something that denies my existence. I'm a strong advocate for draconic diversity, because I am not alone in being "unusual" sort of dragons. Nobody should feel like this, unseen. Dealing with the constant "he or she" as someone nonbinary is more than enough, thank you very much. I feel like as alterhuman, hell, even just within the confine of draconic community or even smaller the dragonkind community, there should be a sort of basic understanding that "dragon" is a abstract term. Like "what is human", "what is dragon" should be a default and nobody gets to decide who is or isn't dragon. To touch back onto what I wrote on Day 1 of this challenge, alterhumanity is a experience, it is a feeling, it is vague and abstract, it is something you know within your essence, or one day you will awaken to it. A dragon is all of that. I did end up finally putting the 3d builder on my guide. I will still prefer Lukas Sotrmskull's Dragon builder though.
Before I let my thought get away from me, lets talk about my other alterhuman identities.
The other side of the spectrum, when you have a almost exact match in sources that are well known, you end up keep getting mistaken as it. My kardiatype looks very alike to Haku from Spirited Away. It gets frustrating when I bring up my kardiatype, and people immediately go "oh, Haku!" It's the same problem with people seeing my self protrait and call that a horse or a goat. Seriously, is like people don't recognize a basic dragon head shape if it isn't scaled and spiked. Horses are neat, goat is fine, and Haku is a very cool dragon. But my kardiatype was not Haku. I'd argue that he was just your generic Japanese storm dragon that may or may not be local deity. Wild thought huh. I like that I get to see glimpse of that dragon through Haku, but I would really rather not deal with yet another case of misidentification in the form of "close enough". My human english name got enough of that treatment.
Amongst my other draconic identities, I have a vague-flicker of Flammie from the mana series. The vaguetype feeling has components of paratype within, precisely due to myself being the sort of dragon I am. Belly plate aside, Flammie looks very close to me. And with my discovery of how suggestive my wing count may be (currently in shifts of at least 4), Flammie is definitely a big contender for media representation of myself.
When it comes to intensionally created identity, me and Akumu, my headmate/mirror self, collectively linked a vaguetype of Aurelion Sol. Now, Aurelion Sol has nothing alike to me, maybe the color is more align with Akumu's, but generally, the eastern noodle form is my least favorite to partake in. It feels like a responsibility, and things are just heavier in a way when I'm in that form. It doesn't have to make much sense. Perhaps I will delve into this one day. One can argue we formed the link due to our kardiatype. But really, it happened because that's the one dragon we were really drawn to (and attempted to main) while playing League, and well, there were two others who were shyvana and smolder respectively, and we wanted to complete the draconic of LoL set for shits and giggles. There not much need to find a representation, because we are the exact representation from the source. But wait, we identify with the concept stage where people dub "unbound form" of Sol. Whelp, guess we gotta look elsewhere again.
It feels like I'm trying to start a topic and well, rant on draconity got me all over the place.
Sometimes it really is a exercise in patience. The more unique you are, the harder it is to find representation. Wouldn't change myself for the world though, I love my uniqueness, and I appreciate how crazily varied dragons can be. Or any other sort of creatures or identities or experiences. Life is wonderful like that.

Rye's Ramble Analysis/Theory On: Kirumi Toujou
Okay so this is gonna be VERY haphazard and nothing like what I do over at @unweavinglies so bear with me, but after I was reminded that Salmon Mode and Kirumi's LSE excisted, I looked into those and like. Holy shit why were none of these character details in canon--or even in her FTEs?
These details change Kirumi's characterization so DRASTICALLY.
Analysis Exhibit #1: Self hatred/Self Deprecation--AKA there's TRAUMA in this Bish
Tumblr media
Kirumi is really hard on herself when she makes the most. Nothing burger mistakes. She even suggests that Shuichi could berate her in any way he saw fit because of how "bad" she thought the mistake was--and even implies that she deserves it.
This is not something someone who has a stable self image thinks.
People who have a stable, positive self image are more likely to go "Oh! Whoops, anyway--" over berating themselves for not knowing someone prefers green tea over black tea.
Tumblr media
Her whole LSE is about how Kirumi feels like her romantic love for her master would be a bad influence on him--that she needs to leave because her feelings are bad and wrong and--
Tumblr media
She doesn't feel like she deserves her feelings to be validated.
People don't just come to the conclusion that their feelings are invalid all on their own--often more than not, this is a huge red flag for trauma--neglect and abuse coming to mind. Kirumi was definitely put in a situation where she believed that her feelings weren't just hindrances--but bad influences, that her feelings weren't valid at all. Combined with the above point, it's pretty clear that Kirumi may have even been yelled at for making mistakes as a child. There was definitely verbal abuse from how willing she was to let Shuichi have at her for her mistake, and her feelings being things she associates with negativity or being invalid suggests that she was often scolded for having feelings at all.
I think her maturity is a mask for her insecurities and potential trauma, and her hard-working nature is the result of thinking she needs to make herself useful to others by any means necessary in order to feel worthy of praise--maybe even worthy of living.
Tumblr media
Kirumi even protests to the idea of Shuichi (her master) seeing her as an equal--a sign of dehumanizing herself.
With all that being said--
Tumblr media
Her protest is never completed, but considering how Kirumi views herself, it's VERY likely that she would feel like if she doesn't clean the place up, then she isn't worthy. I think that this line can be interpreted in a variety of ways, but I see it as her trying to say "When you clean, I become useless."
And like.
Her whole LSE is her beating herself up about how she doesn't know how to prepare konjac.
All of these signs point to some kind of verbal abuse or severe neglect--more likely the former over the latter. I'm not exactly sure who abused/neglected her, but the signs are very much There.
It's possible her adamant dislike of being called mom or being referred to as "motherly" stems from this very-likely abuse, but that's more speculation and it's as equally as likely that she just simply finds it degrading. Either way.
Analysis Exhibit #2: People Pleasing (Struggling to Say No)
Kirumi has a very distinct inability to say no to most "reasonable" requests. I specify "requests" because it ties into the points above and how Kirumi sees herself.
Tumblr media
Here, she is blatantly stating that if Shuichi is requesting her to watch this documentary then she will. Despite her very clear dislike of bugs, if she is told that it is a request, then she will complete that request, much to her distaste or discomfort.
The fact that Kirumi declines the offer if it isn't a request shows that despite her nature to please, she really dislikes bugs. She wouldn't be polite and watch the film with Shuichi due to how much she hates them.
This is also shown here as well:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
She does, of course, have boundaries she will not cross, as shown here:
Tumblr media
But she outright states that "Maids have the right to refuse requests."
Except she only goes by this motto when the request is extreme in nature, like if she feels that she is being objectified or sexualized... or told to take a hecking break.
She even says this:
Tumblr media
Suggesting that, rather than just flatly telling Shuichi "No, I'm NOT burning this place tot he ground, are you out of your mind?" She asks him to "retract his statement." She asks him to hold the power over her, telling him that she would be willing to burn an entire building for him simply if he had a good enough reason for his "request" but also telling him that he has to be in control here. He has to retract his statement, she cannot simply refuse.
Analysis Exhibit #3: A "Go Don't Stop" Kind of Girl
Kirumi does take breaks, but she struggles with resting quite a lot.
Firstly:
Tumblr media
Kirumi's likes and dislikes line up with her chosen profession--being a maid. She likes cleaning, but hates resting. With everything else above, I'm personally convinced that Kirumi more so likes to feel "useful" and dislikes to feel "useless." So if she works, she is considered "useful" to those around her.
Even when in a kidnapping situation, she is thinking of the others care and comfort:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While I'm sure Kirumi has escape on her mind, she is also trying to make accommodations for everyone else at the same time. Serving everyone else is just as important to her as escaping with her own life--something I'll further address in a moment, but for now:
Tumblr media
This girl literally comprehend when someone just wants to hang out with her and talk to her as a person. Everything is about her being a maid, and she makes it pretty clear that her status as a maid comes before all else.
Now, about her life...
Analysis Exhibit #4: A Maid's Selfless Devotion (Verses the Trolley Problem)
Kirumi chose to die with everyone else whent he time limit was running out.
Despite there being no strings attached, despite there being a young man offering up his life for the others to take, everyone--herself included--refuses the offer. Why? Because in that moment, she is serving everyone in that group, to her detriment.
While the "We'd rather all die here than kill someone" sentiment is unspoken, there is proof that Kirumi is going with whatever the group as a whole wants:
Tumblr media
Implying that, had everyone chosen to die at the time limit, she would have done so as well. It's more likely that she and everyone else would die fighting rather than sit back and let their deaths happen, but her life coming to an end was a very real possibility that she, as a very intelligent and logical person, weighed against everything and decided that saving herself via murder was not worth her own life.
This, of course, changes in chapter 2:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because Kirumi is led to believe that her life, her service, is the only thing keeping a whole country safe.
Whereas before Kirumi's loyalty to the group was so solid that she didn't even fall to the temptation of murdering someone to escape, when she is presented with what is essentially the penultimate Trolley Problem, she goes and chooses the path that has the fewest casualties. Her choice between the V3 cast VS the entire nation of Japan is a very logical choice, almost a no-brainer. She even convinced herself that Ryoma was offering up his life to her after she confessed to him that she had too many reasons to escape from that hell of a school. He turned his back on her--and logically, he would never have done that if he had any self preservation left in him. That is her logic, her reasoning, her excuse to make her crime less egregious to herself and the others--but she had too much on her shoulders. She did what she thought needed to be done, and that was that.
Final Notes:
I'm not gonna lie, I came into this not expecting a whole lot.
From what I remember when I did my initial research on Kirumi, I thought that she had very little character to her. She was a Maid and that Was It. And it's sort of true--in canon and even in her FTEs, she's portrayed as nothing but a maid.
But her LSE and her Salmon Mode paint a slightly different picture of her--one of a lonely, neglected, abused girl who thinks extremely little of herself if she's not being useful. Someone who was taught that her feelings were rotten things and invalid, things that would only hinder other people and their potential. She works and works and works just to prove to herself that she's worth it. That she's as useful to as many people as she physically can be. She struggles with casual conversation, probably because she can't imagine anyone would want to talk to Kirumi Toujou, the person, and instead needs Kirumi Toujou, the Ultimate Maid for her services.
I think that this information being in extra game modes and buried under canon (plus a more accessible bonus mode) that did absolutely nothing for her character, I think Kirumi gets a bad reputation as a character who's got nothing else to her. Like I don't blame people who missed this information and/or thought nothing of it--in isolation, it's hard to pick up on/easily overlooked in favor of the characterization she got in the main canon story and even her FTEs.
I used to think that Kirumi wasn't much of a character--but now, I realized that's very, very wrong. She's more than just a maid! But you have to dig around and put the pieces together to actually see what's behind that perfect mask of hers.
