Hello, I am writing to you as a 22-year-old girl who managed to enter the void on the night of May 17 and changed her whole life.
I started my void challenge in December 2021. It was very difficult for me both physically and psychologically. Because I had an environment that was abusive and violent. And my conditions were very terrible. I had an exam that I couldn't win for 3 years, an alcoholic father who beat me, and a mother who never let up on it. I have lost a lot of things in my life in 3 years, but I have never given up on emptiness. If there are people who are still struggling with the gap, I hope my success story will be a motivation for you.
One morning when I woke up with failure again, I was feeling extremely unhappy and hopeless. But an incident at home during the day made me say, ‘That's enough, I'm going to fuck everything up tonight and wake up in a void.
When I wasn't feeling very sleepy- or even sleepy at all- I lay down on the bed. Because I'm afraid to fall asleep. In order of;
15 min Holotropic breathwork
20 min Silva method
10 min Alpha State meditation
After lying motionless for about 45 minutes, the brown noise started playing. It is very natural that there is a desire to move, to be overwhelmed,to give up in this part. Please continue for your dreams. When the brown noise was playing, I used a single affirmation.
‘I'm simply deciding that I'm in a void.’
I can't remember how many times I repeated it. After a while, everything became quiet and I felt so peaceful for the first time in my life. I had a 30-page document and I said that everything in there would be manifested.
A day ago, when I had nothing, I now have a house on the Mediterranean coast, a black bmw ix car, a Harvard math degree, an online job where I earn 25 thousand dollars per month by working only 4 hours a day 4 days a week (Dollars are very valuable in the country where I live, and my salary is multiplied by about 30.), I have a beautiful face, body and skin. I also showed that I can ride horses professionally and draw pictures. I confirmed that the apple products, books, cosmetics and skin products in my wishlist are also in my house. I have also declared the person I will meet about 1 year from now and who will become the man of my dreams.
THIS IS AMAZING!!!! I’m so happy that you’re now living your dream life 💗
This is such a good example of showing people that they can truly do anything. Thank you for taking your time to share this 💗

°❀⋆executing your comeback plan (the actual doing part) - part 4/5 °❀⋆
1st post 2nd post 3rd post
posted by: glowettee
hey study angels! ♡
okay so we have this gorgeous plan, but now comes the real tea - actually making it happen! don't worry though, i'm going to break down exactly how to execute your academic glow-up strategy. this little guide will help you make this comeback actually stick!
♡ week one survival guide
this is literally the most important week:
day 1:
set up your study space (make it cute but functional!)
organize all materials by subject
create your new schedule in your planner
gather all missing notes/materials
reach out to study buddies
first week priorities:
stick to your new schedule (even when it's hard!)
document everything in your progress journal
identify early challenges
celebrate small wins
adjust as needed
♡ making the daily grind actually work
consistency is literally everything:
morning routine:
wake up 30 mins earlier than usual (i know it's tough but trust me)
quick review of today's goals
prepare your study space
get in the right mindset (i do positive affirmations in my mirror)
organize materials for the day
during study sessions:
start with the hardest subject (when your brain is fresh!)
use the pomodoro technique (25 mins study, 5 mins break)
actively engage with material (no passive reading!)
take aesthetic but useful notes
check understanding after each session
evening wrap-up:
review what you learned
prep for tomorrow
update your progress tracker
clean your study space
set intentions for tomorrow
♡ active learning techniques that actually work
just reading isn't it, bestie:
the explain-it method:
teach concepts to your stuffed animals, family or friends
record voice memos explaining topics
write explanations in simple terms
create examples from real life
make connections to things you know
practice makes perfect:
solve problems without looking at notes
create your own practice questions
do past exam questions
explain concepts to study buddies
make concept maps
♡ dealing with motivation dips
because they're gonna happen:
when you're feeling unmotivated:
look at your progress tracker
remind yourself why you started
take a cute study break
change your study location
reach out to your study support squad
do something small but productive
emergency motivation boosters:
change up your study playlist
try a new study spot
use different colored pens
take a short walk
message your study accountability partner
reward yourself for small wins
♡ handling setbacks
they're part of the process:
when things go wrong:
take a deep breath (seriously, do it)
identify what happened
adjust your strategy
reach out for help if needed
remember this is temporary
get back on track immediately
prevention strategies:
regular progress checks
weekly schedule reviews
maintaining backup plans
keeping support contacts ready
staying ahead of deadlines
♡ progress tracking system
make it cute but keep it real:
daily tracking:
concepts mastered
time spent studying
questions/confusion points
wins (big and small!)
areas needing more work
weekly review:
compare to previous week
adjust study methods
celebrate improvements
plan next week's focus
update long-term goals
execution is where most plans succeed or fail. it might feel weird at first, but stick with it and you'll see the glow-up!
xoxo, mindy 🎀

How to get your life together: Student edition ᯓᡣ𐭩
Mindset
As cliche and redundant as it sounds, it's important to be positive, as well as realistic, about your academic life. Understand what you want to achieve, what you're capable of, how to effectively push yourself and how to rest. This is the recipe for success.
2. Goal setting
Bouncing off of the mindset step, focus on what it is your want to achieve in your academic life. Be very specific with these goals. Understand and set your yearly goals, quarterly goals, as well as monthly and weekly goals. This will help you plan your days and have a realistic sense of time in terms of how much work needs to be done in certain subjects, how much rest can be had, and how often breaks should be taken.
3. Discipline & self understanding
Understanding who you are as a person and how you learn, process, and retain information can help you effectively practice self discipline.
Questions to ask yourself:
+ What type of learning style do I have?
+ What time of day do I work best in?
+ What environments do I work best in?
+ Are digital or physical notes more comfortable and effective to me?
+ Have I established a pleasant relationship with my instructors and at least one peer in all of my classes?
+ What subjects am I strongest in?
+ Do I learn best in a group environment, one on one, or reviewing notes independently?
+ Am I easily distracted when studying? If so, by what, and can these things be easily prevented?
+ What are specific triggers (if any) that help me get "in the zone?"
+ When are my typical rest days, or times of the week/month/year that I like to rest (no work at all, or very light reviewing)?
4. Daily schedule
Now, create a schedule around your answers to the previous questions and make certain tasks "non-negotiable." (Whether this be "I must brush my teeth and shower after waking up," or "I must study from 6-10 every night," is your decision.) Be realistic with setting these non-negotiable tasks, but also believe in yourself, and try and push yourself a little out of your comfort zone. You know what you're capable of, and if you want to achieve something you feel you're just not ready for, practice,- and build up your stamina!
Things to always include in your daily schedule:
+ Wake up time
+ Getting ready/ commute time
+ At least two meal times
+ At least an hour of leisure time
+ At least seven hours of sleep a night
+ Do your homework the day it is assigned
+ Give yourself a daily reward
Things to always include in your montly schedule:
+ At least one date with friends or family
+At least one date with your significant other
+ At least one phone call with long distance loved ones
+ At least one study date a week with peers or friends
+ At least a certain time during a certain day of the week to completely unplug and rest
+ Read the syllabus and log every important deadline and exam
Other useful tips:
+ Keep your workspace tidy, inspiring and organized
+ Changing the scenery when you work can be a nice change of pace
+ Breaking big tasks down into smaller chunks can feel less overwhelming
+ Plan meals ahead or small snacks so you won't feel hungry/forget to eat
+ Use materials that are effective and fun for you
Studying time frames:
Study time - Break time
20 min - 5 min
30 min - 10 min
45 min - 15 min
1 hr - 20 min
1hr 30 min - 25 min
2 hr - 30-45 min
When should you study?
+ Never the night before
+ Exam - 1 week before
+ Test - 3 days before
+ Study first thing when you awake
+ Review complicated concepts before bed

30 tips for getting good grades
1. stay motivated, put your heart into it, always remember why you started
2. find inspiration, follow people who have the job, grades, etc that you would like to have, be like Hermione, Rory, Elle, be better than them, be the most beautiful and intelligent version of yourself!
3. organize, priorize the most important
4. plan your week, have a routine, make a to do list
5. choose the right studying spot (your bed, your desk, the library, you choose)
6. make a list/summary of the things that you need to know
7. minimize distractions
8. make studying fun, put music, use school suplies in your favourite colour...
9. read the right way, don't waste your time reading the ENTIRE book, read the powerpoints that teachers give or your notes that you make in class, if you are having trouble to understand something (and if you have time), go to the book or the internet
10. make cute study guides/resumes
11. color code in your resumes important things
12. explain in your own words (it really helps alot if you add notes in books, resumes, questions...)
13. review
14. say it out loud/listen
15. read it over and over
16. test yourself
17. make words/sentences with the initials of things that are difficult to memorize
18. explain to other people or your plushies and pets (try to make it easy)
19. study early, don't study the day before, you will not have time to do a good job
20. change your habits, try to do as much work as you can when you are in school, so when you get home you can have some time for yourself, try to acomplish everything you planned before you go to sleep
21. don't skip classes, because you will lose some extra things that are not in books/powerpoints
22. prepare for classes ahead of time, you will understand more quickly and make questions
23. create a relationship with your teachers, this way you can feel more confortable asking questions, you will have more focus and you will be more motivated to study and go to classes
24. pay attention to what they write in the board
25. take good notes in class, you need to listen to the teacher and think about it, this will help you stay focused on the class
26. revise the things you learned that day, when you get home, at least 10 min for each discipline
27. write down everything you remembered in the beginning of the exam if you are really anxious
28. do the questions that you know first, because if you waste time on things you don't really know, you probably will not have time to do the ones that you actually know and you will lose points
29. reward yourself, give yourself study breaks, set a time, buy something new as a reward for your effort, watch your favorite series/film
30. be confident in your exams/classes/studies, study alot so you can be more confortable and give your 100%, always believe in yourself!

Hiya! The first day of the new year is done!
It was an okay day, I worked for a few good hours. I am currently obsessed with Epic the muscial, so I spend too much time listening to it instead of working ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂)⸝♡
What I managed to accomplish today:
added past questions from ophtalmology closing rotation test to Anki
studied Duo Hindi and Japanese for 20 mins each
started next ophta seminar (5/15)
read 2/3 anesthesiology chapters for the day
went for a walk!
managed to convice my friend Avi to become my waking up buddy! ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡
meditate
go to sleep at a time when i can get a good amount of sleep
do a 15-mins flat cleanup
Where am I with my academics at the moment? Starting my next rotation on 7th Jan (ophta) and having an exam from anesthesio on 20th Jan. I will start adding D- counters for them tomorrow.

10:35 || ༻`` 11 Jan 25 — Saturday
I have finally decided to do something to help me get off my phone 🦎 (especially with doomscrolling ) other than pure willpower which obviously wasn't working. I downloaded 'ascent' on my phone to send me reminders & block my screen for a moment every 15 mins when using certain apps. I'll look at the app's other features a different time.
Another problem I've had is not using my habitica and getting overwhelmed by the amount of habits, dailies and especially To Do's, and ending up not doing any (and then just skipping so many days). Last night I wrote out all the challenges I'm in (main source of my dailies & habits), summaried what I have to do within them and immediately after ticked off some of the To Do's and dailies! 🌟 It felt great and being able to see them all categorised (I never use the tag feature in habitica) is strangely not overwhelming at all even tho the whole page is filled lol. This also means I will be able to remember everything I've got to do a lot more easily as 'out of sight out of mind' isn't a factor anymore!
I also decided to mainly join challenges that relate to each other & align with my New Year's goals, or simply make them easier to achieve. This grouping of tasks and set steps is giving me so much relief 😌 Recently I've been incredibly overwhelmed with school work (coursework, homework, studying for this year & a repeat), my exams (which are all in May/June) and personal goals and everything I feel like I should be doing. So even though that page covers just a small area of improvement/work for myself, it's immediately been such a weight off my shoulders 🌬☁️.
Day 116 clean
Day 0 -> but habit tracker has been set! I recently saw a tip about changing saying/being told 'stop picking your skin' (which really isn't helpful) to something more fun like 'stop breaking the law!'
Floor time ☑️
I'll edit this this evening with any more updates // 🍊

oc-tober (shifting edition) day 25!
writing prompt – in an awkward situation
i had my computer open to my designs of my spidersuit, trying to decide what was best to add on to my suit to make things more efficient when i needed water so i walked away to get it. i forgot i let my sister crash at my apartment, so when she came out of the guest room as I was getting water, i rushed over to slam it shut. she immediately laughed asked me what i was hiding, and obviously i couldn't tell her it was the spidersuit so i just said i was reading smut which made her laugh again. (thank gods she left it alone after though)
normal prompt – "daydream about them"
well i have a 2h 15 min additional math exam in a few hours, and i've given up on the subject, so i'll just be visualising my dr then 😋

May Monk Mode Challenge
I made another challenge!! May Monk Mode Challenge - A Studyblr Challenge! In this challenge, we will incorporate the productivity hack "Monk Mode" to help you stay focused and productive during your study sessions. The goal of this challenge is to create a habit of consistent and effective studying that will help you reach your academic goals. I am excited because I made a post about it back in March but already started the April Study Challenge so here we go!
Don't know what "Monk Mode" means in terms of studying? I made a post about it here! - LINK
Set aside a specific time each day for your study session. This could be early in the morning, after lunch, or in the evening, whichever works best for your schedule.
Turn off all distractions, including your phone, notifications, and any other potential distractions.
Create a study space that is quiet and free from distractions.
Set a timer for 60 minutes and commit to studying without any breaks or interruptions during this time.
After the 60 minutes are up, take a 10-minute break and then repeat the process.
One session = 60 mins study + 10 mins break. At least complete one session a day.
Day 1: What are your academic goals for this month? Write down your goals and the steps you need to take to achieve them.
Day 2: What subjects or topics do you struggle with the most? Identify your weak areas and make a plan to improve them.
Day 3: Create a study schedule for the next week, including specific topics you need to focus on.
Day 4: Review your notes from the past week and summarize the key concepts.
Day 5: Watch a video or read an article related to one of your subjects. Write a brief summary and explain how it relates to what you are studying.
Day 6: Practice active recall by testing yourself on the material you have learned so far. Use flashcards or quiz yourself.
Day 7: Reflect on your progress over the past week. What have you accomplished, and what can you improve upon?
Day 8: Identify any distractions that prevent you from studying effectively. Make a plan to eliminate them.
Day 9: Set a specific goal for your study session today. What do you want to accomplish in the next hour?
Day 10: Review your study schedule from Day 3. Are you on track to meet your goals? If not, adjust your schedule as needed.
Day 11: Practice visualization by imagining yourself acing your upcoming exams. How does it feel to achieve your academic goals?
Day 12: Identify your preferred learning style (e.g., visual, auditory, kinesthetic). How can you incorporate this into your study sessions?
Day 13: Take a practice test to gauge your understanding of the material. What areas do you need to focus on more?
Day 14: Reflect on your study space. Is it conducive to learning, or can you make improvements?
Day 15: Review the notes and study materials from one of your favorite classes. What makes this subject interesting to you?
Day 16: Create a mind map or flow chart to organize the information you have learned so far.
Day 17: Watch a TED talk or listen to a podcast related to one of your subjects. What did you learn from it?
Day 18: Use the Pomodoro technique (25-minute study sessions with 5-minute breaks) to help you stay focused.
Day 19: Review any feedback from teachers or professors. How can you incorporate this feedback into your studying?
Day 20: Take a break and do something that relaxes you (e.g., exercise, read a book, take a walk).
Day 21: Reflect on your progress over the past three weeks. What have you accomplished, and what can you improve upon?
Day 22: Identify any study habits that are not serving you well. How can you replace them with more effective habits?
Day 23: Use a mnemonic device (e.g., acronym, song, image) to help you remember a complex concept.
Day 24: Take a practice test or quiz yourself on the material you have learned so far. How much have you retained?
Day 25: Reflect on your motivation. Why are you studying this subject, and how can you maintain your motivation?
