So Aca (my Resinsoul Yao) is my oldest head (in terms of how long I've had him, I've had him since 2018) and he's um been VERY problematic to find a body for. The issues are that 1. He's very yellowed, meaning I cannot just get a brand new body from Resinsoul (i have and it looked bad) and 2. His head is a female sculpt originally so the neck size is smaller, meaning putting him on male bodies just doesn't work super well and 3. I have a very specific aesthetic I really want for him in terms of body shape, so I've put off buying a body for a while. He's been through (I think???) 4 different bodies before I modified the hell out of a vinyl body neck piece to make it fit him. As my interests changed from resin bjds -> vinyl -> back to resin, I realized I really did want him on a resin body as I prefer the feel of it and how you can really modify it as much as you want. I had been looking for a Doll Leaves body for him for a bit because their normal resin is a bit more yellow than other companies, so I figured it would match how yellowed this head was. The only issue was the 6-9 month waiting time which I was DEFINITELY not patient enough for.

When a Doll Leaves body popped up secondhand, it was always the wrong resin tone or a female body so I had passed up a few opportunities to get him a body for a bit. Until I saw that the seller for a head I wanted to buy also had a Doll Leaves body in the right resin tone available. The only issue was that it was a female body. Aca as a character is a trans guy and so I went back and forth on if I wanted to buy it and do my own modification to give him top surgery (as that had been part of his character since the beginning) or if I should just wait and get a male body. Unfortunately I am a VERY impulsive creature and asked the seller if they would be willing to bundle the head I wanted and this body for a lower price and she agreed.

All of this backstory leads me to today in which I learn how to use a dremel and chop these boobs off this doll. The resin tone was a PERFECT match practically with his head, and once I blushed it to match a bit better with the faceup, it would be perfect! I was ecstatic to see how well it fit and how it posed really well (people are NOT lying about how wonderful Doll Leaves resin feels and how well their dolls pose). Now after a TON of talking, lemme get to the modding.

This pic is the before, the boobs are a very odd shape but I can tell that underneath them is a flat surface that I can really easily sculpt on once I've sanded it all down!
