i would like to find a yarn color that is roughly close to this shade of orange:

as the doll is going to be using dark blue eyes and the contrast would look pretty good (ty to my friend for helping me narrow down colors here lol) but well. you would not believe how hard it is to find a more muted light orange. i have been to specialty yarn sites. if i did either of the two multi-colored yarns, it would be for highlights/still mostly orange just with other tones in there :) if u have specific opinions on this please comment bc good god i hate yarn shopping for this.

Attempts at making old school lolita lingerie. Second evening.

Spent few hours trying to make this damn folds. Since I didn't sew anything for a long time, my fingers feel so numb and thick. As a wooden logs. Frustrating.

Surprisingly looks acceptable so far.

Made a pattern myself (kind of). The actual pattern is from dollybird, but for Unoa Zero. So I drew something similar, but with volks sizes and taking into account her body shapes.

Usually I just wrap dolls in foil/tape.

Watercolors r great until you have to do 700 layers to get it to show up. And what if I needed it to be a bright color. Do you want me to die!

They look like cracks and are not very visible due to being painted in light white paint that does not show up well against the resin color. /End ID]

Actually I rescind what I had said earlier, new girliepop doll was on my top three list, I had misremembered. There were still two I would've loved more, but also two I would've liked less, and another almost as much, which I'll still call good luck!

That said, I still hold with my unfortunate call when I first saw her that the hair being long is a bit detrimental since it's a solid piece. She can't move her head and sit, and it's like bumping her skirt weirdly. Alas...

The past few months have been a blur. Suddenly having to pack up everything and move, working long nights for 2 months straight just to afford the basics and pay everything off 😩😭 Finally setting up my dolls and doll house again. Camilla looks great🖤💋✨️
