Making this post to politely tell the girlbloggers that the "#dollblr" tag is SPECIFICALLY for doll collectors! I myself, along with others have voiced how inconvenient it is to have our tag flooded. It's especially frustrating with this communitys tendency to frequently change blogs. I'm tagging as many of the usual tags in your community to have this reach many people at once since this is addressed to you. Please, if you consider yourself a girlblogger, stop posting in the dollblr tag unless your post actually contains a doll (the actual toy, not selfies!) and spread the word to your mutuals too. You will be blocked if you continue this. Thank you for understanding.

me and my friends went to walmart the other day so we decided to go to the dolls + toys. it started off well like we were looking at the dolls and my friend asked which ones who i have, and i was excited to talk about it with them…

but then omg they started HATING on G3. i tried defending it with my life like ahhh

i stopped talking bc i was getting like a bit sad

being in enemy territory is not fun 😭😭

It’s just me and a few stray dogs in this obscure dead fandom but by god, I will feed the graveyard soil with much needed fan-art nutrients!! 🌸

This is for a project that didn’t work out… or may resurrect in the future. I was sketching some ideas about what a modern day Peteena doll line’s story might be. I really like the idea of having two Peteenas: the modern alternate girlie and the original, her gee-grandmaw… who used to be a renowned spy in the 60s! And that would explain OG Peteena’s globe-trotting, sporty, fashionista outfit changes… they were for her missions! Zoomer Peteena would be a fashion Youtuber or Tiktoker of some sort, catching people on the street and interviewing them about outfits. She interviews her grandma one day and discovers gee-grandmaw is way cooler than she thought.

My ideas are still kinda basic cos I haven’t really had time to think further. However I know I want Zoomer Peteena and OG Peteena to be going on spy missions (OG Peteena coming out of retirement!) thwarting bad guys in the fashion and art world - which would allow for a lot of episodes for TV, campaigns for outfit sets, other merch etc. Then there are the family dynamics - Peteena’s mom (who is not called Peteena) and gee-grandpaw, who is that even more obscure doll of OG’s boyfriend.
