Samah (@/samah-2) is a mum to a newborn little boy, a two year old little girl, and their big sister who's only 9. Living in a tent has been miserable for the whole family: boiling and eaten alive by insects in summer, freezing and soaked to the bone in winter. It provides no protection from the relentless IOF bombing either: they all survived the IOF's attack on Mawasi just over a week ago, left rattled by how close it was but there's nowhere to escape to. On top of it, basic supplies like food are unimaginably difficult to get. Aid is still not getting in & famine has spread south too.

The situation in Gaza is probably the worst its been in the entire 14 months of this genocide. The conversations of a potential ceasefire don't really mean anything: the immediate threat of death remains.

Despite this, Samah's campaign has recently started slowing down badly; it'll make chances of evacuation slim, but the more immediate concern is starvation. Her original account (@samah-h) got shadowbanned, limiting her ability to campaign right now too.

Main post is losing traction and i seriously need help. I am $74 away from getting a place and $947 away from being able to get surgery to remove cancerous tumors on December 30th. I have been dealing with a multitude of sicknesses while also being homeless amid rain and snow. I am also trying to get my son back that is staying with my social worker due to me now being homeless. I'm doing tarot and @scarsofbeauty is doing art comissions on their page. Mahmoud (@ma7moudgaza2)’s campaign has stagnated badly. Mahmoud and his family have gone through a lot- their home was destroyed, they’ve survived the Al-Shifa massacre, they’ve gone through starvation, and Mahmoud himself has struggled to pay tution fees to sit for his exams remotely, amongst all of this.

Now, he has decided to evacuate Gaza. I appeal to your humanity, please consider how you would feel if you were forced to evacuate your beloved home without your family. Can you imagine being pushed to that extent?

Mahmoud needs to evacuate Gaza to continue his education and work. But before he can do that, he needs to continuously withdraw funds from his campaign to provide for his family as well. I hope this highlights how urgent his situation is, and how he needs a steady stream of donations to survive.

Since February, Starbucks has repeatedly pledged publicly that they intended to reach contracts by the end of the year - but they’ve yet to present workers with a serious economic proposal. This week, less than two weeks before their end-of-year deadline, Starbucks proposed no immediate wage increase for union baristas, and a guarantee of only 1.5% wage increases in future years.

Our unfair labor practice (ULP) strikes will begin Friday morning and escalate each day through Christmas Eve… unless Starbucks honors our commitment to work towards a foundational framework.

if you chose one of the answers on this poll, i would really appreciate the share. i am an afro-indigenous, severely disabled/medically complex person with no support system near me. i was homeless from december 2023 to september 2024 and it was an extremely hard time for me, especially since my chronic illness makes me very vulnerable.

i cant get more gov assistance rn for a few different reasons but i still need help paying bills every month. my storage bill is currently late, i owe klarna a bunch this week, rent is due at the end of fhe month, and i need to repair/replace the two front wheels on my chair.

notes havent really reflected the amount we've raised recently and its mostly only a handful of people who help. the reality is that even a very small contribution can help a ton! so please, PLEASE help me survive. its getting harder all the time but i would like to eventually have more security/stability in my life 💕
