I read a Reddit post last night talking about how Pulaski gets hate but shes just a woman McCoy. How he was to Spock, she is about Data. I think the main difference is Bones was calling Spock not human, he wasn't trying to be human. But when Pulaski calls Data not human it comes off as meaner to me because Data desperately wants to be human. Also Pulaski doesn't wanna fuck data, bones wants to fuck Spock.

jim is 100% that girl who goes like, i can do your eyeliner but only if i do it like i'm doing *my* eyeliner because he relies on muscle memory (ends up pressed against spock's back doing his winged eyeliner for him lmaoo. not that spock's complaining. good for him! he gets to be felt up by his boyfriend while watching his other boyfriend being sunshiney with uhura)

I think one of my favorite things about Spock that surprised me & made me actually love the character (because it's so different from what you'd expect from a character of this archetype) is the fact that he's funny.

And not in an "alien says something ridiculous because he doesn't understand humans" kind of way. He understands everything. He's making jokes on purpose & he knows exactly what he's doing.
