Morning in the Slytherin dorms

Pandora- You guys how are we feeling?

Barty- I feel good.

Pandora- Oh my gosh, positive energy, I love that. Regulus? Regulus!

Regulus- no.

Pandora- Okay, I love you too!

one day harry came home on a holiday and complained to his parents that oliver was constantly waking them up early. james jumped up saying that waking up his son so early is absurd and he’s a growing child who needs his sleep.

to which sirius and marlene snapped their heads around to glare at him

Jegulus' first date wasn't even intentional. They had been in a weird flirting stage for a couple of months in the beginning. But it became official when James saw Regulus in Hogsmeade by himself right before it started pouring. The two of them ran into the nearest building to wait out the pouring rain. The building turns out to have been Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop so they spent their time there waiting.

At the end, James was like, "Should I consider this our first date as boyfriends?"

And Regulus was like, "...You know, sure."

That's how their first date went.

“It feels haunted down here,” James says as he pulls off the invisibility cloak.

“Hey! That’s my dormitory you’re talking about,” Regulus gasps, feigning offence. “Besides, Hogwarts is literally swarming with ghosts, the entire place is haunted.”

Though James cannot argue that, the gothic decor and lack of windows is so starkly different to his own dormitory, it’s hard to believe they’re still in the same castle.

“Don’t you miss the sun?”

“Don’t need to when I have you,” Regulus says, before groaning and collapsing back on his bed, “God, that was so cheesy. Please forget I said that.”

“Sorry, already planning out where I’m gonna get those words tattooed,” James teases, though inside his heart is soaring.

Okay, I'm so tired of people not appreciating dorms in Harry's time in school.

So much of the Marauders' lore is built around their time in the dorm, and I get that this is not the case with Harry's generation because there isn't much attention given to it in the books, but just imagine

They spent just as much time in their dorm as the Marauders/the Marauder era girls did. Best believe so much of their friendship and so many memories were acquired and built in those rooms. It was similarly awkward in the first year for them. They similarly helped Harry with his nightmares. They probably all shared snacks, clothes, school supplies and argued on who took a shower so long that there was no more hot water left in the morning and they had to wait an another hour for it to heat up (I don't care that it's literally a wizard school, let me live my fantasy)

Hermione was probably more cautious in her dorm and then the girls helped her loosen up a little after the first year, and just imagine how many gossip/girl therapy sessions they had. And the first time that Hermione probably appreciated it fully is after the Yule ball, when the boys ruined her evening, and she was surprised to find how similar her thoughts and opinions were to the girls, and so they talked and ate sweets and made face masks the whole evening after that.

Come on you guys, appreciate the goddamn bonding tools that the dorms were
