the more i read, the more i realise how much of a loser president snow is. and that's the scariest part for me.

that someone so ridiculous, someone so "they cheated with the name dove. get more creative", someone so "oh my situationship failed 40 years ago so let me just crash out about it to a 16 year old", can purposefully cause something so sickening and then people will still not take him seriously.

he killed 48 children and then proceeded to murder everyone the winner ever loved JUST IN THIS BOOK ALONE, and yet people seem to focus on the fact that he's hot in the prequel or that he vomits into a flower pot and only drinks milk.

how many more times does suzanne collins' need to beat everyone over the head with the horrific things snow does before people realise how terrifying, how realistic, of a villain he is.

it really gives insight into society, how if someone is presented as conventionally attractive, or somewhat ridiculous and overdramatic, people immediately forget their capacity for evil.
