hear me out, danny speaking russian (dc x dp hc)

so i was just watching a video about space, right? allegedly, turns out if you (an american) wanna board the international space station you must speak russian fluently since the only way to get there is by a russian shuttle and pilot (nasa apparently ended their own shuttle program way back when??) (don’t quote me on this)

so picture danny learning russian at a relatively young age for the sole hope of going to space and such, and it coming out every once in a while when he’s mumbling or something like that (it’s basically second nature to him)

so danny ends up at gotham for whatever reason (demon twins, reveal gone wrong, idc, they’re all cool) and he wants to start anew, so he pretends to only speak russian?? ig?? it’d make for some funny/interesting BatFam interactions i suppose

i don’t know where i was going with this but i want to read prompts of danny speaking russian

When the Robins were too young to convincingly pass as drivers, they'd always insist that Bruce drive them to school or anyplace they were running late to, because Bruce's extensive illegal racing experience meant they were guaranteed to make it there on time. Or even early sometimes.

So, for whatever reason Bruce is out of comission for a while and i mean A GOOD CHUNK of a while

A few hours later, there's two little Batmans (compared to the og) running around with a squad of robins behind them

Damian and Cass are taking turns after this, and the rest of the family does the same to go with them

Tim only goes with Cass tho because Damian refuses to be Batman when he could 'show who is the superior Robin' by competing fairly with Tim while both are Robin

The first night, Dick showed up in a fitting version of the original costume, because he wanted to, Jason because he thought it'd be funny

Steph and Duke thought it'd be fun to use different ones, so you had about-

Four robins with shorts and one with pants before they got sent to change

Then the number stayed because 'No, no i was wearing Dick's costume, this is Jason's' and viceversa until there where four versions of Tim and one of Damian

Bruce won't tell them, but he was in tears when he saw all of them, literally all of them (he's so proud of how far they've come and he's also SO sad because when did they grow this much again?)

Well, I just watched Spider-Man: across the Spider-Verse...

I know it's late to talk about the movie (because the hype for the movie has already died down) but I had to say, HOLY SHIT, WHAT AN AMAZING MOVIE!!!

I hadn't gone to the movies to watch it because I had a commitment and then I didn't feel like watching it outside of it. But with my fanfic Ghosts of the Past (Batfam x neglected hero reader) I decided to watch the movie to get an idea of ​​combat and abilities for the reader and well, I fell in love with the movie.

You can expect me to put some similar scenes in the fanfic, I simply fell in love with this movie.

ALSO:

I ask for a petition so that in the next Miles and Prowler Miles have a platonic relationship.

I don't want them as enemies, I want them as brothers:

Goddd give me Thomas, Martha and Alfred who were completely obsessed with baby Bruce. Martha who’s quiet but solemn affection.

Thomas who’s bright and loud and bigger than big, who’s just pride embodied. Showing Bruce off at every opportunity. His love is savage by nature.

Squishing Bruce’s face and throwing him around and aggressively kissing him all over his face. Maybe biting into the chub of his cheeks a little. Bruce is like his extra limb.

And Alfred? From the second Bruce took his first breath, he knew. He knew Gotham would drown him in shadow because the little pearl was just too perfect. But he’ll be there.

He was the knight first.
