choro's a math teacher, which i feel like is pretty fitting for her. they drew her very cute, peak froggy expression.

ichi's a science teacher, like in teacher matsu merch by movic. he's also setting a bad example for his students by wearing open-toed shoes which is against standard lab safety rules, for shame smh.

jyushi is an art teacher! very cute, he's definitely fitting the bill of the zany art teacher stereotype.

totty's an english teacher. he's really meant it when he said he doesn't want to work bc he's giving us NOTHING in that awakened art. his outfits are very cute, though.

Give me these two feeding off of each other's negative energy while Alfred and a newly adopted Dick are shaking their heads off to the side. Heck, let's throw in the Nasty Burger incident for some angst. Danny is going through a whole tornado of emotions and Bruce in all of his awkward glory is speed reading as many books about grief that he can get his hands on. How is Danny more complicated to deal with than Dick? He thought dealing with Dick was the most complicated things could get.

I am automatically on edge when dealing with family because they tend to do me favors (ranging from inviting me over for dinner they cook, to giving me expensive wedding gifts) and I know the contract is that I will do those favors back. But you see, I do not want to.

The type of favor that families tend to do are, to me on a -10 to 10 scale, 3 pleasantness to receive and -7 pleasantness to give. I don't much like being a dinner guest, going to weddings, staying in other people's homes, and actively dislike being on the giving end of these things. I feel much better about people I vet for compatibility but the whole point of family is that you're like an insurance company about it.

Invitations to draw me deeper into this network, like reunions or holidays, fill me with distrust that to accept is to rack up debt I can repay only with so much misery and guess culture torture that it cannot possibly be worth it to take it on.

Holy cow there’re a lot and I really do mean A LOT of Welcome Home AUs, and more coming too. Not saying it’s a bad thing, but it makes sense considering WH doesn’t have a lot to work with so it leaves tons of room for fans to play around with. I just hope it doesn’t get outta hand like what happened to Undertale with its AUs.

People are free to have creative liberty on what aus they wanna make- like you said there is very little canon content to munch on so people will pull a “fine I’ll do it myself” JCHFHDHU-
