the kanpai! designs from the 2019 ensky hobby calendar will always be one of my favorite osmt merch lines so i wanted to draw something with kuroba based on it.

now, he can cheers with kara ( or anyone else if ya'll wanna draw your ocs hanging out with kuroba. 🤭 )

today's birth flower is the four-leaf clover and kuroba's birthday! i think they'd celebrate by going to the park and relaxing with someone special to them. :3

some small kuroba updates : their pronouns are now they / he and i also knocked their tits clean off with that bat. 😔 ( more serious explanation for the change under the cut. tw for mentions of gender dysphoria. )

something i was thinking a lot about while i was away was kuroba's experience with gender and how they felt about their body. a major source of his dysphoria is his chest and i always imagined he'd get top surgery at some point in his life, so i think it makes more sense for him to get it done sooner rather than later.

now, kuroba had their top surgery done not too long after they graduated college, thinking it was better to handle it before having to shift their focus mainly on working at their family's flower shop. therefore, any previously drawn boob jumpscares have been retconned so that kuroba mainly sleeps in just their bottoms whenever they opt to not wear a tank top to bed.

the pronoun change was inevitable, i could feel it in my bones.

hi, everyone! it’s been a bit since i posted on tumblr so i wanted to give an update / explanation on why i’ve been gone.

so, since december, i’ve been struggling a lot with anxiety and burnout on multiple fronts, but especially when it comes to posting my art and socializing. this is something i’ve always had trouble with, being able to be perceived and interact with others for months at a time before crashing and needing to isolate myself in some way to recuperate. i have tried posting a lil on instagram during my break from tumblr, but it’s mostly been relegated to stuff on my stories.

the major reason why i haven’t updated you guys over here sooner is that trying to get past my anxiety around coming back on here has been like wading through quicksand. i get overwhelmed by it very easily and it feels easier in the moment to just push it off until the next day… and that’s how i ended up being gone for months now. still, i should’ve tried harder to give you guys an explanation sooner so you wouldn’t be left in the dark as to where i’ve been. i’m really sorry about that. same goes for anyone who’s tried reaching out to be through dms. my lack of response wasn’t out of disinterest or anything like that, i’ve actually really missed talking to my friends and i deeply apologize if my silence made anyone think otherwise. i really do love and appreciate the people i’ve connected with on here, i’m sorry that i haven’t been able to show that properly the past few months.

⚠️ — another thing that’s made it harder for me to be more active is that i lost my cat, kiki, on the 23rd of january in a pretty unpleasant way. i don’t want to go into details about it, but not having her around has made things a lot more difficult for me. i had her since i was around 10 years old, she was a major source of comfort and emotional support for me so not having her around anymore has really sucked. i’m also not in a place where i can get another cat so i’ve been basically raw-dogging things for the most part. still, i’ve found small ways to honor and connect to her despite her passing, ( particularly with my new sona shown above. )

besides that, i’m not sure how active i’ll be on here for the time being. there’s an artist program i’m hoping to apply for in july and i really need to lock in on finishing up my portfolio for submission. because of that, i wanna cut back on any possible distractions while i finish that up. i may still dick around on my insta stories, but we’ll see. i wanna try being more active on discord again, but my replies will probably still be on the slow side. again, i wanna apologize for being so quiet and not giving you guys a proper update sooner. i hope you’ve all been doing well and i’ll try to pop in if i can!

Since Tabimatsu officially ended, the staff announced that they're planning to release an Illustration book eventually!

The date is still unknown, but I'll probably post about it once more info is out (since I plan to get the book, lol).

This is personally big news for me! Tabimatsu did not release an Illustration book when Shimamatsu, Hesowars, and Pazzmatsu made theirs back in 2019/2020. So this announcement feels late, but better late than never imo 🎉

he's not even using his idol clout to spread awareness of the rare disease he's trying to cure (like SEM does) so it can secure funding, he sees it 100% as a job and refuses to have fun, he is actively unpleasant and uncooperative in every interaction with his coworkers because he's trying to "rise to the top". it seems like the only thing he has going for him are his looks and that he kind of liked to sing when he was a kid. why not become a model at that point when you have the personality of a wet tree trunk. or better yet why not STAY A FUCKING DOCTOR!!!!!

this ended up being more of a silly couple's pose, but i still really like how it came out hehe. i also used it as an excuse to finally draw kara's winter date outfit, which kuroba would 100% fuck with and dress up more so they could slay together. truly, they match each others' freak in the best ways...

also, thank you so much oh my god?? i feel like i have a hard time really articulating greatful i am for all the positive feedback i get on my osmt stuff, but seriously. hearing that people like my stuff and that i inspire them really means a lot to me. 🥹✨️
