scatterbrained thoughts so i don’t forget and to see if anyone else out there cares below the cut

like its the hadestown version of the myth bc 1. LOVE and 2. there’s something just so funny about like hermes moonlighting on broadway for a bit w a whole musical ab one of his favorite and heart felt tragedies

also the lyrics “maybe it will turn out this time” and all other ones along the lines of retelling it hoping it ends differently AND THEN IT ALL COMES BACK— LIKE THEY REALLY DO REINCARNATE and it (maybe) works out this time on the road to hell, on the rail road line

the banter between hermes and apollo about how maybe hermes is better at his job and they should switch (he basically wrote a whole award winning musical and starred in it for years and then in a weird way prophesied that the tragic lovers would return)

apollo is not pleased

aphrodite squealing in the corner bc it’s just such an outlandish time-transcending love story, heart break, and reunion

percy just over this bs bc why is this his life

eurydice hermes kid ? like hermes feels bad “she was a hungry young girl” and all that, he does his best to be a good father this time to heal the ancient trauma she has AS WELL as his own for failing luke all those years

orpheus apollo kid? he was a muses’ son after all, and that poor boy’s workin on a soooong

then orpheus shows up later with percy and the gang and bros just like “oh no… fuck me, not this shit again…”

idk all this is subject to change (or it might not happen at all) bc as entertaining as it would be, a lot doesn’t make sense… like why would orpheus care and want to go on the quest bc he doesn’t even know eurydice yet AND where would the story go after the first book??

also the fact this would be oc x oc, i mean i love those stories, but idk how others feel about them

i also thought about au-ing in percy as a orpheus so the would already be friends and stuff… but then that doesn’t make sense bc of how blatant he is about being horrible at singing except when played by chris mccarell in the musical… mans can SING

all that and i also have a list of requests, a tumblr masterlist to fix the links on, the regulus book and the hunger games book to do (and a possible OTHER pjo book that i only really told to wifey @iknowyoureabigfan )

I saw a post somewhere about how Percy is probably jealous of Jason's relationship with Nico, because Nico can connect with Jason as an older brother figure, while with Percy there's all this baggage and the reminder of Bianca hanging over them.

And I realized. Nico is probably jealous of Jason for similar reasons. Jason and Percy have this casual bromance going on. They fight together, they make storms together, they regard each other as equals. And Nico is just. There. The youngest one. The weird one. And there's too much stuff between him and Percy for them to ever be completely comfortable together, even though, I think, Nico would secretly love to get a Percy fistbump.

I managed to carve out some time this evening/night (Finnish time) for more fanart of a fanfic I'm obsessed with.

The feminine urge to rewrite the heroes of Olympus series (specifically SON) and make it sadder (and more angsty)

Like Percy without Annabeth would go batshit insane right? Or should I say Perseus would go insane.

The whole Percy memory thing is kinda glanced over. He gets his memories back by MOA. The second he sees his Annie he’s okay. And then we’re done with it.

But what if it didn’t work like that? He loves Annabeth that bond hera wont break. But he doesn’t know everything about her. He knows thats his entire world. But he doesn’t know why.

Jason didn’t know about the legion. Or any of his time there. He still doesn’t have all his memories about that despite going home.

Why does Percy get that?

Imagine Him doing a move and leo being like “where’d you learn that?” And he just blanks, Luke’s name slipping from his brain.

Him back at camp, seeing someone (like clariesse or Katie. Not his best friend but they’ve definitely talked.) and them being happy he’s okay, and he just doesn’t know them. Them trying to remind him who they are. And he just doesn’t know.

Percy getting his Achilles curse memories back, and he doesn’t remember that its gone. Going headfirst into battle, unaware of the potential for injuries.

Percy hearing sally make a mean joke about gabe and he just doesn’t know who he is. He knows he hates alcohol. But not why.

Percy not remembering everything.

He knows what hurts but not why it does.

Yeah heroes of Olympus but sad

hope we get a heartfelt moment of percy's family saying farewell at an airport. he says goodbye to grover. it's bittersweet, but they promise to meet up as soon as he gets back. he says goodbye to paul and thanks him for being the father he always needed. then he gets to his mom, and he doesn't have enough words to thank her so he just hugs her. he cries and manages to say that he'll miss her. and she'll joke that he'll be back next summer like he always is. then he pulls away and gives the three of them one final look before turning to meet annabeth hand-in-hand. ready to face whatever the worlds throws at him because he has her at his side, and will continue to have her for the rest of his natural life.

One Time, Hazel and Nico tried those haunted mansion attractions that are everywhere at Halloween

The people said it was good, legends said that the house was actually haunted ( even if nobody has seen paranormal activity there in the last 30 years) and the thematic was set up around the 20's and 30's, so why not give it a try?

...

It wasn't boring actually, but also wasn't scary, not even a bit, at least for them, because even the staff end up running for their lives as if they just see a demon or something ( Gods, they swear that even a girl fainted after all that)

Turns out that half of the spoky ass feeling, metal sounds, mirror doing things that it shouldn't be doing, ghostly touch, shadows or lights that seem out of place wasn't meant to be there.

It was all fault of those two presence and their exitement towards the decorations or laughs about how poorly something was retreated

The metal sounds? Just some little cursed jewels that were trying to cach up Hazel as it's princess by any method even if it's with the light that reflects upon it, all because she got excited of see something .

The shadows?? the same as hazel but instead was Nico the one that got excited about something alongside the fact that those things just like to wrap around him.

Ghostly touches? Just some ghost that after decades chooses to do they work, because being lazy in front of his king and the princess who has the approval of their goddess¹??? no thanks, they dont wish to die again.

The mirror and the spoky feeling all around?? Thas just some collateral effect of having two demigods Childs of the king of the underworld around

Oh, and that creepy person that everyone except them noticed, that was staring at the distance or out of the windows??? That was just Alecto, the poor fury once again was doing the non-paid babysitter job for hades.

I would really like to see a pjo fic where Percy tells his mom and Paul about the events from Demigods and Magicians. Like, imagine them hearing that there's ANOTHER panteon that they should be worried about. Imagine them knowing about an another set of villians that want to take over the world or smth.

Imagine them finding out about Percy being possessed by that one goddess (I forgot the name).

Please, can someone write this?

Another AU idea for a PJO fic! I invite anyone to run with this idea, and hopefully someday I'll have time to write my own version!

Gabe and some of his friends take Percy on an ocean fishing trip (unlawfully) for some 'stepdad bonding time'. Somehow, either through an attempted murder or an ignorant prank, Percy gets thrown overboard and Gabe speeds away with his friends.

Percy freaks out, because he's not aware he can breathe underwater. He meets a hippocampus, who misreads the situation, and thinks Percy is lost so it takes Percy all the way to Poseidon's kingdom.

Cue shenanigans! Anything can happen from here on. Percy could try his best to live in disguise while figuring out why he can breathe underwater and how to get back to land. How long does he last incognito?

Sally, meanwhile, is investigating her son's disappearance.
