and the scene after that she said "I don't have to tell you what you have to do now, right?" with the next scene being percy confessing to annabeth

she genuinely CHOSE to be the oracle, if she was really serious about percy she would have not have gone along with the whole thing without being a tiny bit sad about not dating percy

she flat out admitted percy was just a vehicle for her to be involved with the greek world

she is not august by taylor swift. she is not driver's license by olivia rodrigo. she did not care less about percy once he didn't reciprocate pls 😭

Technically, if Chiron calls Percy and the other demigods his kids, he not wrong. Kronos has some kids which are Chiron and the gods. Then, Percy is born. So that would make Chiron an uncle. It took me 3 years to figure it out-

i firmly believe that rick riordan hasn’t read PJO or HOO in AT LEAST a few years, if he’s literally ever re-read them since publishing. because there’s no way someone who’s read the books even somewhat recently can be this inconsistent with not only details, but entire character personalities as well. but that’s part of the whole other “rick’s trying to completely replace the books with the show” issue

would love a scene of someone who doesn’t take percy or his physical strength seriously and then getting their shit rocked. imagine them getting percy all worked up and pissed off, and then smiling and taunting him; “what, you wanna hit me big guy? go ahead.” and then percy punching them, which throws them like 10 feet back, breaks their nose, and fully dislocates their jaw. because they didn’t realize that percy is actually extremely strong (which is canon)

but alas, none of that will ever happen because percy isn’t allowed to be impressive or intimidating anymore
