I loved those Zelda-Link role swapping pictures so much this happened… plus I just finished replaying Twilight Princess! xD

Link was surprised at what Midna looked like in the end, boy is Zelda in for an even bigger surprise.

In my Links Meet AU (which I sadly haven’t begun posting publicly yet), I’ll have him act kind of cocky and a little rude. It is his real personality, but he is fully aware of it now, and I think I’ll have it so he does play it up slightly to anchor himself as well as making the sudden shift to four very different people who all look and sound like him slightly less jarring for everyone else. He also does avoid splitting since the four of them refuse to be controlled by anyone and he tries to save the others the stress of them as long as he possibly can (even if he does love all four of them dearly).

He also does juggle his four sets of memories; I think the conflicting feelings surrounding those memories would be fun to explore. The one I have planned is him getting a nightmare of their confrontation with their dad in the Palace of Winds, and BLUE’s memory of it more specifically. Blue may have hidden it in the moment, but I like to think the guilt of it is clawing at him from the inside, and it’s that which bubbled up to the surface when Link (‘Four’) got the nightmare.

I wonder, in a post-manga AU, at what point the default state of Link became being split in four rather than being whole. I wonder if Link stays split because he's running away from having to wrestle with four different sets of memories and the emotions tied to those memories. I wonder if people call Link "boring" when he's whole and how that affects him. Does he hate himself? Does he hate himselves?

I tend to just rework my already existing files whenever I want to draw but don’t feel very creative. That’s actually one of the many reasons I’m purely a digital artist now.

mouthwashing dog au in which swansea owns 3 dogs 🐶🐶🐶

curly: golden retriever because of course he is. his previous owners shaved him (which you're not supposed to do to goldens), so his hair grew back in curlier than it should've.

anya: borzoi/afghan hound mix. she had to be a borzoi—the eyes called for it. she's also a trained service dog.

daisuke: pomeranian. he gives little yappy dog energy what can i say. he's still a puppy and can be quite the handful sometimes but swansea can never stay mad at that face.

had to include what i think swansea's dog form would be too of course. he's the most english bulldog kind of guy i've ever seen. it's the vibes.
