Sometimes I have this urge to make commentary doodles about 2012, and this is one of those times- LMAO

If Donnie's crush on April carried the same energy it had in Season 1, it would've been much easier to digest and a lot less harmful to both their characters in my opinion. 💀👍

I think some cool takes would be Donnie keeping that immaturity about his crush being acknowledged (Like practically yelling / getting a bit too defensive when his brothers call April his "girlfriend"-), having Donnie actually avoid physical contact with April most of the time (Even if it's something as small as a high five-), having Donnie try too hard to mask his feelings when April's around and starts imitating Raph because that's the only example he has of someone doing those things (Lmao)- You know?

I also would've liked to do a couple more doodles of how this would evolve into a decent friendship between the two of them, but I got tired,, 🥲👍
