I say leave it to the Japanese to create robots. They are the experts on robotics and all things animatronics. They are on the way back to becoming the masters of all things small and powerful. They have been selling the world their Science Fiction in manga characters and their minimalistic architecture among their many unique trademarks. We already know of their car manufacturing,and their heavy industry involved in mega projects, such as bridges and tunnels in a country ridden with tectonic faults their expertise is of world renowned. Well,I could go on but you get my point. Like all cultures of this world who turned pacifist after WW2 and were resolved to overcome their problems ,still face many challenges regarding the new technology and the competition from China ,but for the western world Japan has become synonymous with superb design and technology ,unlike China which as a reputation of building technology but a very shoddy and lacking in excellence ,just look how their electric cars and bikes have turned into a total fiasco .And their horrible architectural design .So they are great at mass production but lacking reliability.
