Do you guys think adult demigods ever date gods. Or even teenage demigods (not saying that type of relationship is ok at all or anything like that but it happens and this is fiction so chill) because I feel like just picking up on context clues in the series. God / demigod relationships (even if demigod is full grown adult) seem to be kinda taboo and not talked about much. So I feel like when these relationships do happen the characters tend to be kinda really shocked and scandalized and gossip about it a lot.

(And no I’m not counting Calypso as a godess she’s an immortal teenager. She’s been a teenager both mentally and physically this whole time. On top of that. She’s been isolated and neglected for so long she’s probably got some type of age regressing disorder (a common thing seen in real teens and kids who are or were isolated/neglected/abused like Calypso was)) (it’s totally fine to not like Calypso for other reasons for other things she has said or done. But “she’s a full grown godess/woman dating a teenage Leo” is simply a false statement. She’s a teenager. She alwasy has been and possibly always will be)

magnus’s “i have just been kissed by alex fierro” is of course hilarious if he’s realizing it just at this moment. but like. throughout the books he’s already aware? he gets flustered when around alex regardless of what gender he is, he knows he’s into him. he describes male characters as attractive. he has relative knowledge of queer experience, having met other queer kids while in shelters or on the streets, always growing as he talks more with alex and other people and learns more about the world and himself. the fruity edge line. magnus's "i am absolutely great about that" was the culmination of a journey he's been on for a long time, perhaps more subtle than that of nico di angelo but still important. this was a point he reached !! this state of comfort and ease with himself and his identity and being was something forged over time !!!
