FOX HELPKIT!
Remember, these are just ideas meant to inspire you. Only you can dictate your identity as a fox— if you don’t feel connected to anything here, then that’s fine! No one else can tell you how to identify as a fox: only you can.
You are valid. You are strong. You are free. Paws or no paws. Fur or no fur. Bark or no bark. Pounce or no pounce. Prey drive or no prey drive. You are a fox through and through, and no one but you can change that.
Affirmations:
My fur dances like leaves in the wind!
I don’t have to hunt to be a perfect fox.
My ears stand alert— I can hear everything!
My fangs are awesome, big or small.
I am a radiant vessel of nature!
My pawsteps are practiced, poised, and perfect.
My experiences as a fox are valid.
If my hearing is bad, that’s okay! I am still a fox in so many ways.
My coat is amazing— silky or rough, short or long!
Even if I can’t run or pounce, I am still a valid fox!
My bark is loud and clear and strong.
A lack of fox-like features does not make me any less of a fox!
My tail is shiny, poofy, and rad!
It’s okay for my eyesight not to be great— not every fox can see very far.
My claws are striking and sharp.
Now here are some activities you can do to make you feel more at home!
Activities:
Curate a playlist filled with songs that remind you of the forest!
Start a journal— digital or physical— that details your experiences as a fox.
Play hunt with your stuffed animals! Ask for their permission, and if they say it’s okay, put them in different places around your safe place and practice your hunting skills.
Listen to ambient forest noises like birds songs, rain sounds, bushes rustling, etc.!
Dig outside, if you can! Bury things in the ground or just dig holes in the earth and cover them back up.
Make a burrow for yourself. Bury yourself in blankets and stuffed animals, or (safely) make a burrow outside. Whatever is accessible to you!
Bathe in the sun and appreciate its warmth.
Pounce and run around if you are able to! See how high you can jump or how fast you can run.
Snoop around and be a sleuth. Find new details in the places you see every day, or learn something new about a topic you’re interested in.
Find new hiding spots in your den! Whether that be your house, your room, the outdoors, or somewhere else— it’s always nice to have hiding spots to be comfy in!
Bark, yip, and yell! If you can’t, then listen to videos of other foxes calling out. Even if you can’t make sounds, you can appreciate the tune of others!
Admire the beauty of nature around you. Look at clouds, plants, the sun bouncing off the walls. Urban or rural, crowded or quiet: nature is everywhere, if you know where to find it.
Be observant to what is around you— see if you can notice different sounds, smells, or sights that you haven’t noticed before.
Stalk around your den or the area around it at night. It’s always important to have a secure den, but make sure to be safe when protecting your space
Collect things! Feathers, sticks, stones… anything that catches your eye.
If they’ll let you, bite or nip (playfully) at your friends or your stuffed animals.
Go on hikes and connect with nature, if possible. If not, then watch videos of others going hiking or look at nature cams!
If you have biting instincts and no way to let them out, try to find or make nature-themed chewelry!
Make art about red foxes to better connect with the fox within. Songs, drawings, sculptures, poems— anything art and every kind of art is beautiful.
Now here are some snack ideas you can try while shifting to help you feel like a hunter in the forest!
Snacks:
Chicken nuggets make a great meal! You can have them plain, or you could have them with your favorite condiments.
Salads: fruits, vegetables, or omnivorous! You could have a chicken salad, a salad with tons of veggies, or a salad with tons of berries— there are so many options!
Berries in general! Raspberries, bananas, blueberries, huckleberries… whatever kind you like!
Fish tacos make a great alternative to regular tacos if you don’t like traditional meat, and there are lots of fish that you could make them out of.
Nuts and granola bars are nice to have if you need a quick energy boost!
Eggs, eggs, eggs! Foxes eat lots of various eggs in the forest, but if you aren’t too experimental with your types of food, you can just stick to normal chicken eggs. But, you could try cooking the eggs in different ways! Scrambled, sunny side, fried, poached— just like berries, there are so many options.
Jam is great if you need some good fruit in your diet. It can be tart, tangy, or sweet!
You could also take a spin at some new kinds of meat you haven’t tried! Whether that be venison, rabbit, duck, or something else, expanding your meat pallet is a great way to lean into your foxish nature.
Here are some gear ideas for you if you want to lean into the physical side of your foxish-ness!
Gear:
Auburn, orange, or other warm-toned hair colors are a great way to connect yourself to a fox more. Just look at those reddish coats!
If you want something more alternative, you could also get fox hair, which is usually blonde hair with orange and black tips. Another variation of fox hair is a dark orange color fading into black!
Ears! There are numerous independent small businesses who specialize in animal ears, including fox ones! If you can’t afford those, however, don’t worry— making your own is just as rewarding and fun!
Wearing socks is a great way to create a look similar to a fox’s coat. You can wear dark brown or black socks of any length to make you feel more comfortable in your coat.
Leg and arm warmers— paired with the tip above, if you so choose— can also help bring your foxy appearance to a new level.
You can make or buy gloves, fingerless or not, with paw pads on them to resemble your very own paws! If you’re able to, you can also try to make some with claws!
Makeup, if accessible, is fun to do and can help you resemble a fox more. Warmer tones and giving yourself foxlike features might help you feel like yourself in the vessel you operate.
Furry coats worn when not too hot could help give you the feeling of a fuzzy pelt!
Tinkly jewelry like fun bangles or necklaces might be able to fulfill your gathering or hoarding instincts— decking yourself out in other piercings and trinkets is also fun to do, species euphoria or not!
To help remind you of the forest, you can decorate your mobility aids with naturey items! Whether that be wrapping vines around your wheelchair or cane or decorating your bags or braces with stickers, surrounding yourself with remnants of the forest can bring back those warm feelings of home.
There’s nothing like music to help you feel more connected to your species! These playlists might make you feel more at home when shifting.

activities for a coyote/wolf therian for anon!
make a den! you can make your den in your room, outside, in a pillow fort, or even in a closet! put cushions, blankets, plushies, or anything in it that you prefer
go on a nature hike! this can help you connect with nature to feel like yourself. you can interact with things but make sure to leave the trail as you found it
learn vocals! there are lots of good tutorials for canine vocals on youtube you can learn from!
go to a dog park or shelter! it may help you connect with your theriotype to be around and play with animals of the same type
watch the moon! you can even howl at it!

Activities for domestic cats:
Play with cat toys! (string, balls, etc.)
Keep up with your nails! Keep them nice and sharp
Do some cat themed make up
Take a nap in a sunny window
Wear cat ears and a tail
Take short "cat naps"
Sit and observe something
If you have pet fish/birds or squirrels outside, watch them closeley and notice all of their little movements
Practice your best purring and meowing sounds
If you have nails, scratch something with them
Knead a pillow with your hands before you use it
Wear toasty and warm clothes (especially ones with faux fur!)
Cuddle up near a fireplace
Buy or make paw gloves/mittens!
Pounce on pillows
Go for a walk outside
Get a cozy beverage

Y’all I really wanted some natural little perfume thing that some make where you just take some local plants and squish them up and mix them with water to make a natural scent but like.. I litteraly don’t know any plants. I only recognise a small variety and so I just grabbed some leaves and am planning on just combining them into a magic potionTM from the early internet to turn me into a werewolf /silly
the combination is uhm oak leaves, blackberry leaves, raspberry leaves (yes I found some wild ones), cherry leaves (what, as long as I know the berry I know the leaf too!), and stinging nettles …
if anyone knows any secret bad thing about them pls do tell me because from what I know it’s entirely fine. Yiipeeeee

I’m having normal thoughts about boys right now ok (I have a deep visceral need to hunt someone through the forest, nothing but the sound of him gasping and breaking through the brush with his heartbeat thrumming like an animal of its own in his chest and in my ears, my paws beating against the earth as I race after him, teeth clicking and practically foaming at the mouth at his scent. Just him and me in the dead of night. And when I finally catch him I pin him to the ground and fuck his brains out under the full moon <3 )
I can be left alone with a pretty guy in the middle of the night under a full moon. Yeah just leave him by the forest :) no yeah don’t worry abt it haha yeah I’m just gonna go out for a run :) it will be good for me and also him. Enrichment :) being hunted by a big werewolf counts as a couples exercise right

Remember, these are just ideas meant to inspire you. Only you can dictate your identity as a vampire— if you don’t feel connected to anything here, then that’s fine! No one else can tell you how to identify as a vampire: only you can.
You are valid. You are amazing. You are beautiful. Fangs or no fangs. Sunlight or no sunlight. Cloak or no cloak. Reflection or no reflection. You are a vampire through and through, and no one can change that. Here are some other affirmations for you so you can practice love and acceptance for your vampy self!
Affirmations:
I am a vampire through and through!
I am still a vampire even if my skin is not pale, my fangs are not sharp, or I don’t crave blood.
My experiences as a vampire are valid.
My fangs are beautiful, big or small! They are gleaming and sharp and perfect.
My aura exudes vampiric excellence.
I am the count(ess) of acceptance and progress.
I am perfect even if I don’t connect with bats.
It is okay if I’m afraid of blood— not all vampires feed!

Now, here are some fun activities you could do to connect with your vampire side more! :D
Activities:
Create a playlist with vampiric vibes and your favorite songs to listen to.
Make a Pinterest board in honor of your beautiful vampire self! Put images of pretty castles, spooky animals, general vibes, or whatever you think fits!
Write a journal and keep track of all your monstrous experiences and escapades.
Drinking cranberry juice, pomegranate juice, fruit punch, grape juice, or other darker/red drinks. (Don’t drink real blood unless you know it’s safe, bats!)
Hang upside down! Some vampire have a bat form and hanging upside down might make you feel more connected to your bat side.
Stay up late (But not too late: even vampires need their beauty sleep!)
Avoid the sun— maybe wear big hats, sunglasses, or get a parasol. (Still get some sunlight every once in a while, though. It may be uncomfortable, but even vamps need all of the good minerals the sun provides; just wear lots of sunscreen!)
Avoid garlic (unless you *really* like it… then you might just have an immunity to it!)
Try to bite into juicy fruits or foods with your fangs or your front teeth and then drink the juice out.
Light candles and turn off your room lights— create a spooooky atmosphere in your vampiric den!
Read vampire stories or watch vampire movies to look at and learn the experiences of other vampires.
Paint with watery red or black paints— create an image that reminds you of your dream castle, how you view yourself, or something else!
Go outside and admire the beauty of the moon.
Create or purchase bat-themed items!
Turn your bed into your very own coffin! Whether this be by decorating it with bat plushies, putting a veil over it, shaping your blankets to make a comfy coffin shape, or something else— it’s up to you!
Pick flowers and dry them so you can appreciate their deathly beauty.
Buy affirming/gothic items like ornate candle holders, red bath bombs, red LED lights, etc …
Brush your fangs well!
Use spooky themed chewelry in case you have biting urges.
Visit graveyards (respectfully!) or explore victorian houses online.
Admire your deathly reflection— in this vessel you can see yourself in mirrors, so you should definitely make the best of it!
Make a habit to ask to enter other people’s houses! Being polite is certainly important, wink wink.
And finally some vampiric snacks! Vampires need fuel, too!
Snacks & Treats:
Red drinks or fruit juices that remind you of blood!
Ripe fruits! The feeling of fangs sinking into the fruit is akin to that of prey!
Tender or juicy meats give the feeling of a bloody meal without being bloody.
Foods with actual blood in them, like blood sausage or blood pudding.
Cookies! (Even if they aren’t spooky… cookies are great for any creature!)
Jam-filled things— imagine biting through your prey and getting to the blood in the center!
Some vampkin playlists, to help set a spooky mood.

An activity for the paleotherians:
✨Go fossil hunting✨
No, seriously. Fossil hunting is not only a great way to get out into nature, its a good way to help your state discover more stuff involving prehistoric creatures!
But make sure you check your state laws about vertebrate fossil collections!!!
I cannot express it enough to go check your local laws! Fines are no joke, and neither is jail time!
Here in the sunshine state(Florida) it is REQUIRED BY LAW to have a fossil collection permit for collecting anything outside of shark teeth and ray teeth.
Another cool note is once you fill the collection paperwork, if the natural history museum that issues the permits decides your finds aren't significant/they have enough in their archives, chances are you'll get to keep em!
But yeah! I find this activity to be both educationally fun as well as a funky way to connect with my theriotype's time frame of existence.
Please go check your state laws before doing this activity. For real.

Hey guys! I'm just going to restate that I've opened a Quadrobics Gym on Google Classroom!
First assignments are coming out today, we'll be working on walking and trotting along with good exercises and stretches to get ready for quadrobics.
Assignments will come out every Friday and Saturday, considering these are my free days and my only time to be fully active, and you will have a week to complete each!

Hey guys! For any nonhumans who do/want to learn quadrobics, I've made a quadrobics gym! Unfortunately it's on Google Classroom, but we'll make it work!
Information about the teacher (me):
I am a 2+ years on and off quadrobist who identifies as physically a fox. I enjoy working out and watching object shows while respecting my physical limits. I will be working right along side you to help make your quadrobics learning experience ideal! Feel free to message me about anything or to ask questions, I will usually respond in less than 24 hours, but on rare occasions, expect in under 48 [hours].
I hope you'll join me in learning quads! Materials and first lessons are going out on Friday-Saturday as I am still in school and have a 5 day school week.
