What do humans have against catkins?

Like, just the other day, I overheard my family make a joke, "and some people identify as cats." It was the only part I could hear, but it made me realize something.

Every time people talk about therians/otherkins, it's always the cats they go after.

Which says a lot about how little they know.

So don't care about what they say. They clearly don't have any clue what they are talking about.

A dragon mask, is that not a first?⋆. ݁⭒

For me at last! It did take quite longer than anticipated - as the painting process.. drew itself out a lot.

But I am rather happy with the outcome!

Here is the process, if you want to take a look! I did not look at any tutorials, so it is very much make-shift, and I am no professional in any shape or form <3⋆✴︎˚｡⋆

First I made a rough shape of the snout with paper, and temporarily taped it on. Using the base everybody uses.๋࣭ ⭑⚝

I then cut out the shape in foam and hot glued it to the mask⊹₊ ⋆

I removed the ears and the cheeks, and hot stuck a scale form onto it. Because well, it looked right!☆⋆｡𖦹°‧★

After deciding against sticking felt to it, because I was very sure to mess it up and ruin everything, I put on. A few more scales!°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･

I added horns and eyelids, going through all the possible stages of grief in the process..𖥔 ݁ ˖

One incredibly longated period of time later, the thing was painted!^^*ੈ✩‧₊˚

I don’t know who needs to hear this today but if you love having lots of kintypes you are valid. if hoarding alterhuman flags and terms is fun and euphoric for you then you are valid. if you don’t know why you identify with every kintype you are valid. if you have a long hoard of kintypes that just feel right you are valid.

you do not owe anyone an explanation of your alterhumanity. you are not inferior to those who are deeply introspective about their types just because you label hoard, or don’t have a complex reason as to why you id this way

Okay okay I know this isnt a new idea but for any therians/otherkin/alterhumans/other term you use to describe yourself out there, one thing I HIGHLY RECOMMEND is getting some snacks that your kin type would eat. If you identify as multiple different creatures then even more variety I think!

Got myself some snacks and I'd say most if not all of my kin types are pretty satisfied (by that I mean the different parts of my identity feel seen and appreciated in some way even if its something small)

I'm so so soooooo happy with myself for buying these on pay day cause I've been yearning for meat and some seeds or berries and this is genuinely so exciting for me

I'm up the country at my grandparents cabin for the weekend and decided on doing some vocals!

I'm not the best at vocals :,) I'm only familiar with barking, growling/snarling and a lil bit of howling! I'm trying to get better with vocals related to my other theriotypes! :3
